Devlog #21: Primary abilities! Each primary will have its own ability, The axe's ability makes you dash then slash, plus you are invincible during it!
Devlog #22: A new primary, the Blendomatic! It blends crops into a stream of juice that inherits some effects, but it can't blend while firing. Its ability lets it blend while firing, and can go past its max capacity!
Not quite done, but here is the almost finished main menu and starting run screen! Any improvements?
Just a couple more things to add, and the main menu will be complete! Any more suggestions?
Devlog #23: The main menu and pause menu are done! I've also moved the chore clipboard to the pause menu so you can more easily look at your chores.
Working on animations for something that will hopefully be done soon!
Devlog #24: Plantable Crops! The main way of getting crops is by growing them in little spots that pop up off screen, or by digging spots with the hoe's ability. After some time it can be picked and used!

Currently respriting the player! Any suggestions?
Whatever the farmer is holding now no longer is freely rotating and has a clamping effect applied to it! Next I'll work on all the crop and primary animations
Hi everyone, been awhile! Here's a small clip of a project that I've been working on for the past while. I will be working on this and publishing this (much smaller) project first before continuing with my original project. The original project was getting a bit clunky and hard to work with. So I will work on the new project to get a better understanding of game dev stuff, and so I can focus on fixing problems when I return to it.
Here are a couple of the ingredients that will be used for the alchemy in the new project!

Sorry for no posts last week, was busy with a few things! Anyway, here is most of the player character's animations! I've also been working on the enemy animations, and I will probably post them next week.
Here is the enemies for the game, the shades! They come in a range of colors that indicate what element they are, and will hurl elemental fireballs at you when you get too close.
New camera follows your cursor around. way better than the lame static camera.
Great ball of fire. Even greater ball of yarn.
Made the sun a messy ball of hot thread. Might make it lore that cats worship the almighty sun yarn as a religion... like a Dark Souls player
Got the push mechanic back in. Time to bully everyone. The Knight has a new overshield that blocks attacks until it is popped by pushing it...or throwing something at it :)
