Actually the main reason I'm back in tracking my achievements on here is mostly 'cause I'm gonna be home alone for two weeks and the gym is closed for vacation. So I need consistency!

02.02.2024 || this morning, I saw a post on tiktok saying "starting my 2024 plans on 1st february bcs january was a free trial month" and I relate to that soo much, yh I did achieve a few things last month but I definitely did not feel good, I felt so weak and lost... honestly. That's one of the main reasons I love a new month bcs like it kinda gives this feeling of a cleanse, a new start β¨οΈ when the last month or year felt so bad or overwhelming. It's just feels better when new β¨οΈ is attached, i guess β anyway, before I get lost in my rant, here is my more practical 2024 vision board

the events of 25/02/2024 || sunday
today was a very nice day (sundays are always nice. I get to see a bunch of my friends), but I also found out that I have to do recitation of like certain verses of the bible under 3 minutes for a competition during Easter camp
β I feel like in a few of my posts, I've talked about Easter camp out and I've never explained it so easter campout is sort of a gathering we do every year during easter it's really just a camp we do all sort of games and competitions
so back to today originally i was meant to take the quiz part of the competition but now it turns out I have to do the recitation under 3 minutes I have to know at least 30 verses and recite it, so I need to get to memorising β which I hard considering I'm quite forgetful (but then again I love a good challenge)

the events of 26/02/2024 || monday
I woke up really early today (actually, I didn't sleep at all. Why? I was reading an Adrinette fanfic, and I cried yh β the way they displayed Adrien''s emotions is so heart-retching)
I slept most of the day but at the end of the day I was able to achieve some things so I'm not going to beat myself up - I'm just going to try and do better tomorrow

what to do when you feel overwhelmed or oversaturated
As we continue into the year we have a lot of goals and a lot of things we would like to achieve and in the process of achieving them we might feel overwhelmed or oversaturated here are a few things that help me when I feel overwhelmed or oversaturated
π take a break (cue take a break fromΒ Hamilton) β get away from the circumstance or task that is making you feel overwhelmed. take a quick break to reset your mind and refresh. a few minutes of deep breathing, stretching, watching an episode of your favourite series or going for a stroll can be beneficial. I am someone who, in some ways, overwhelms myself. what I mean by this is that I have work divided by certain days, but I try to do everything at once because I tell myself that if I do it now, I'll have a lot of free time later - I don't end up having free time and I just overwhelm myself to work, and taking a break between everything helps.
π practice mindfulness β mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing, meditation, or progressive muscle relaxation, can help you calm your mind and relieve stress. Concentrate on the current moment and let go of concerns about the past and future.
π set boundaries β If you're already feeling overloaded, learn to say no to new obligations or tasks. Set boundaries to safeguard your time and energy, and don't be hesitant to delegate chores or request assistance when necessary.
π prioritize tasks β Identify the most important things that require your immediate attention and work on them first. Break down larger jobs into smaller, more manageable steps and complete them one at a time.

the events of 12/04/2024 || friday
today started off really productive but I didn't work out today, I woke up angry but still began my daily tasks and after standing in the kitchen for 2hours washing dishes, cleaning and cooking. I couldn't do a lot I just took a nap for a few hours and when I woke up and tried to work out I couldn't like I didn't have the strength to and I just ended up scrolling on youtube for about 2 hours {now I can't reach my goal of screen time under 6h}, when I came to my senses I decided to try and workout again at least do a 12 min workout - that didn't work so I got up - did my skincare and ate. after that I started doing other tasks. all in all, I was able to achieve something at the end of the day though - I'm just grateful I didn't spend the day doing completely nothing

the events of 17/04/2024 || wednesday
today was soo much better than yesterday, sure I dΓdβnt start the day eggzactly as I wanted to but the day still went well, i was able to complete most daily tasks and really work on writing tasks it's been a really smooth sailing day for me I did spend like 3hrs on youtube shorts but when I came to my senses I immediately got to work and I was able to do a lot.

July Dump - 2024
It's the end of the month and I must say July was really good and as usual there were some ups and downs but July was mainly good, it was fun. moving into chapter 8 [time does fly by], I just want to keep my mind on 100 days of productivity challenge and complete it and also focus on my fitness to follow a routine that I like for at least 3 months and not give up in the middle.
