Ladybug redesigns for my Miraculous rewrite.
I’ve always wanted to redesign Ladybug’s uniform, one of the most terrible and uncreative designs I’ve seen in na animated series! That’s why I made this redesign.
Ladybug now has a cape that also serves as wings, the underside of the headdress is based on Chinese dresses (I don’t know the name for sure). Her hair also grows out a bit and takes on a pink gradient. The antennae move depending on her mood, and Tikki also received a small change, she now has wings, the symbol on her forehead is more like a flower (based on her 2d design)
On her wrists she has bracelets that work as communicators, and when she needs something she opens one of the bracelets and from inside she can take any item that can help in battles.
Little ladybugs also come out of the bracelets, which attach themselves to civilians and protect them, like magic shields. She even has her Yoyo(I just forgot to draw it) as her main weapon, the Yoyo changes size and just like in the movie sometimes seems to have a life of its own.
She has the luck effect, na effect that affects all heroes, if she touches a hero they get a bust of luck, if she touches na akumatized with this effect activated she can steal their luck. Basically it’s na effect that can only be used once for both versions of this power.
Miraculous Ladybug does not rebuild or fix what was caused by the akumatized, and to purify the akuma she still uses her yoyo.
I made these changes to her for my future rewrite of Miraculous, now named “Miraculous Heroes”.
She, in addition to being the protagonist, is also the main strategist, she can think about solving problems but she is not necessarily responsible for defeating the villains, she as the holder of the Miraculous of creation cannot destroy the items in which some are kept, she needs the other heroes to destroy them and so she can purify them.
She takes this job seriously but also wants to be able to balance it with her everyday life. She is still a bit clumsy like Ladybug in the beginning, after all she just became a hero, and even containing the luck effect she is not 100% lucky, And sometimes when she busts the luck of others she ends up sharing part of her luck for them, leaving her almost out of luck.
Ladybug doesn’t have just one power anymore, she has several, and that counts for the other heroes as well, which will also have redesigns soon.

I had a dream yesterday and there was ladrien in it
I have forgotten what it was about but there were lot's of ladrien and I would look at it and go ooo ohohooo ladrien??? ladrien.... I gotta tell my tumblr friends about ladrien from my drieam but my beautiful advanced mind clears cache data to save storage so I made a little sketch instead because I miss them

Meet Zane Rivers!
My Tumblr says that I'm just an artist, but I've been hesitant to post any of my actual art until now.
So I've decided to finally do it, starting with one of my first original characters, Zane Rivers.
Zane was originally made to be a Miraculous OC who I paired with Adrien. I even made a fic for him on Quotev that I haven't updated in over two years because seasons 4 and 5 kinda made me lose some motivation.
He's the son of a famous musician from America, and his family moved to Paris, where Zane meets his new friends in François Dupont, and becomes the superhero, Silver Wolf.
Zane is kind, supportive, calm, and kinda reserved, but he isn't a pushover by any means, and will call people out on their bad behaviour, which especially puts him at odds with the likes of Chloé Bourgeois, the two forming a sort of rivalry because Zane is someone who refuses to just let Chloé walk all over everyone and get away with it. This aspect of him is what allows him to be fast friends with Marinette, Alya, and Nino in particular, who know firsthand how nasty Chloe can actually be, while with Adrien, he makes it his duty to help him realise that he doesn't deserve to have to put up with toxic people in his life, whether that's Chloé or someone else close to Adrien. (ahem, Gabriel)
As Silver Wolf, he takes hero work seriously, but will allow himself time to have fun with what he does, acting as a middle man between Ladybug and Cat Noir. He has the ability to stop time for 20 seconds, which makes tasks like rescuing innocent bystanders less of a hassle.
What makes Zane truly special however is his relationship with the quantum masking aspect of the Miraculouses, which is that he can see through the magic that hides other Miraculous heroes' identities depending on how many similarities there are between their civilian and powered forms, and how much effort is put into hiding their signature features. So Silver immediately figures out Ladybug's identity upon meeting her, while it took him about a day to figure out who Cat Noir was.
Knowing who Cat Noir was is what got Zane to start admiring Adrien, since he gets to see through the mask that Adrien wears, both literally and figuratively, and he is able to love every aspect of him, from his soft kindness, to his silly fun side.
While Zane was originally a Miraculous OC, over the years, I've started seeing him as a sort of all-purpose OC, in that I have a lot of fun putting him in all sorts situations, such as scenarios where he isn't Silver Wolf, and instead wields other Miraculouses, or I put him in AUs where he has the role of Adrien and becomes the Cat Hero, which are especially fun with my friend @gsstories's characters.
And he's not limited to Miraculous. I like putting him in other fandoms such as Sonic the Hedgehog, or Friday Night Funkin', or My Hero Academia to name a few, and seeing how he would fit in.
Zane is near and dear to my heart, and I hope anyone who finds this post would like him too.
(Day 20/? of catch up posting) uhhh so I don’t remember what exactly inspired this fusion of Ladybug and Chat Noir but I like mixing the colors and parts of the costumes together so
(I’m not super proud of it but I put a lot of time into it so I figured I should post it anyways)
(And don’t ask why the hair looks so weird cause even I don’t know why and I’m the one who drew it lol)

(I also made a Chat Noir pfp of sorts out of the first drawing so that’s there too :D)
(Also both giving ftm vibes in the exact same way)
(Day 23/? of catch up posting) Do I even need to explain why I love Chat Blanc so much? Also, Bryce Papenbrook’s acting and pure emotion in this episode is just SOOOO good dude
(I’m also very proud of the blurry hand and the textured shading so this is one of my favs currently)
(Day 24/? of catch up posting) Uhhh idk I just was drowning in Miraculous content and needed to self insert so I just altered my Spider-sona and it fit pretty good
(In the end I changed this costume a few more times after this drawing, but this was like the first draft of my Miraculous insert character)
(Day 25/? of catch up posting) Yeah I really love Chat Noir and I don’t regret it in the slightest :)

I could fix her. From a narrative perspective. She can start out close to canon but personally I’d actually work on fixing her flaws. Character development and all that. Maybe some depression too. I’m writer. I’m narrative design. I totally know what I’m saying probably don’t quote me on that tho-
