please, robo, i beg of thee:
a crumb of quest headcanons to inspire more fics and content
Sure!
Quest is very slow at tying his shoelaces
He really, really wants a big dog that he can take on jogs and hikes
Quest is secretly a huge fan of the manga "monster", but thats about all the manga he's read
Quest dislikes energy drinks. He says they "hurt his teeth"
When he's tired, he'll stretch his arms SUUUUPER high and almost shout-yawn
He keeps a small quarter in his pocket at all times that he absently rubs when he's thinking
He really hates those socks with toes
One of his friends growing up gave him the nickname "chuck" for absolutely no reason
He cant stand writing with anything except a black or blue ballpoint pen
If he has a son, he'd want to name them after his brothers
He probably passes away in his mid-50s/60s
When quest was a kid, he wanted to be a firefighter that went to the moon
He has a wall where he wants to put postcards of places hes been, but it never gets very full
He has exactly 2 mugs
I HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A HAPPY WEEKEND

“So let me get this straight. We’re here to rescue a princess.”
“That’s right.”
“At the request of a princess.”
“Right again.”
“And you, who will be leading the expedition, are also a princess.”
“You’re very perceptive.”
“How big is your royal family, again?“
“We don’t have one.”
“But–“
“We overthrew our monarchy centuries ago, but we kept most of the titles around. The rank of ‘princess’ is held by the directors in charge of various civil service branches.“
“Huh. And the princess we’re rescuing today is in charge of…?”
“Public sanitation.”
“The Lord of Death’s Dominion kidnapped your public sanitation director?”
“We think he’s a little confused.”
This is part one of my quest to make a beautiful dice tower!!! 🧙♂️🔮

Castle or quest
Quest: I do have a taste for adventure, and it makes me restless that I cannot go on any as of late. Living in the city has it's perks, but I miss roaming the countryside and the woods and moors. 😔
Monster Hunt: An Evil Without An End
Lady Talmere was a monster long before she rose from her grave, having taken to the recreational murder of commoners the way that others of her social class took to falconry or painting. Killing was a hobby for her, a privilege of her aristocratic birth that she could indulge while others were forced to work for a living. She chose her victims purely for the fact that it was easy to make them disappear: her country estates were far from prying eyes, her demanding nature excused the high turnover rate in her staff. She employed those with nowhere else to go, to hardworn by life to ask questions, and when complications did occur it was so easy to wriggle out of them by charming or greasing the palms of the local magistrates .
It was a true injustice that Lady Talmere died happy and of old age, moreso that her wretched spirit was not claimed by some devil and dragged to hell, instead rising some decades later as a mohrg. While most of her old self has rotten away, Talmere still possesses her love of killing and scene of digression, prefering targets that will go unnoticed. To make matters worse Talmere is now prone to reanimating her victims with the parasitic worm that makes up part of her undead corpus, simultaneously creating a new minion while getting rid of the evidence.
Adventure Hooks:
In recent weeks rumours are beginning to spread about the “Tattergaunt”, a thing that wanders the night preying on lone travellers and isolated homesteads. The authorities are skeptical and have yet to post a bounty, suspecting beasts or even slavers given the lack of remains left behind. It’s only when the party stumble into some of those remains on the side of the road, reanimated, worm bloated, and dragging another corpse that the picture becomes clear.
Talmere is having her zombie minions clean up after her, stashing away the undead that are about to slip out of her control in the hopes that no one will find them. Her choice of using isolated locations for these zombie stockpiles makes for a great random dungeon encounter.
The party may find themselves tasked with investigating a haunting at Talmere manor, inadvertently begun when the spirits of the lady’s victims sensed that she’d risen. Unable to communicate through any means other than terrifying vision or violent poltergeist activity, the spirits long to be put to rest, and don’t care how much they have to terrify or imperil the manor’s mortal occupants in order to get that message across.

Disappointed with the lack of Quest sickfics, so I'm writing one instead of doing my English lit. essay.
why am I starting this blog?
hello, I’m C. - no of course it isn’t my name, but just call me C ‘cause I’ve always thought of me as a “C”.
to answer my own question (lol) I’m starting a blog just because I need a place to write out what I feel, what I’m interested in ecc. - to sum up, I need a place for my stuff.
but why on tumblr? well, I’ve been on Tumblr since 2015 I think and I’ve never been truly using it. Yes, I found a lot of interesting stuff, thing I loved and thing I didn’t even know I could like but here we are.
I think this world can give me more and I can give my contribution to it too: one thing I’ve been missing is the chat, the interaction with others - this long quarantine period we are still experiencing made me realize just how much I need others. we are not only selfmade but, as much as someone think of this a negative side, also made by the relation, the interaction with others.

Quest
[English first, poi in italiano]
The first impression I got when reading this game has been "someone watched too many D&D actual plays and reverse-engineered the game from those", but then I started noticing all the different and well-defined dynamics, and how it strives to highlight the flavour and uniqueness of characters, while keeping the mechanics unobtrusive and tight enough to accompany the narration without interfering. Using a simple resolution with an unmodified d20 when you're in doubt, the game leans mostly towards special abilities and its action point economy for most of the other cases. The abilities are divided by classes, and then again in trees that depict the different aptitudes of the class, as informed by the standard fantasy game imagery. But just by looking at the character sheet, you see where the focus of the game is, and the world sheet only reinforces that vision: it's a game about the characters and their adventures and discoveries in a world that everyone can contribute to.
