“I prefer when movies target my heart instead of my mind.” – Anton Yelchin, Rest in Peace.
“We got no ship, no crew, how’re going to get out of this one?” - Star Trek Beyond (2016)
it isn’t uncommon, you know? it’s easy to get lost. in the vastness of space, there’s only yourself, your ship, your crew. (insp)
Since the original Chekov was born in 2245 and not in 2241, he would have been like 13 in the reboot.
Wouldn’t that have been cute? ….. and a bit strange….. But cute none the less! XD
Hear me out: Tom Holland as Chekov
"Second star to the right, and straight on till morning," Kirk told Chekov at the end of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. After he said that, they gave the original characters a few seconds of screen time before fading out. Then across a screen of stars, the actors signed their names (and I might have teared up ALOT lol). I then took the final images and those signatures and combined them into a gif. Such a good movie (minus the slow clap near the end lol)
The Balloon Adventures #6 - HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Happy Halloween to those who celebrate :D
fun fact!
anton chekov actually thought up many other dramatic principles! chekovs gun is just the most well known. he has other, lesser known rules to follow in writing, such as:
The Rule of Chekov’s Knife - this states that if a knife is shown off in one act, then in a following act, someone must be shot.
The Rule of Chekov’s Guitar - this states that if a guitar is featured in one act, then in a following act, an audience member must be shot.
The Rule of Chekov’s Bush - this states that if a bush is in any scene, in a later act, the bush must be shot.
The Rule of Chekov’s Window - this states that if a window is featured in the stage, at a later point, someone must peak through the window, or jump/fall out of it. And then be shot.
The Rule of Chekov’s Character - this states that if a character is featured in any scene, then in a later scene, someone must be shot.
