Since rayla was able to open the gates to ethari's workshop, it proves that ghosts can interact with the physical world of the village. So is there like random stuff floating around silvergrove that the ghosts are holding? Is this considered common in silver Grove?
Like a bottle of moonberry surprise will just randomly start floating and be violently thrown at a tree and shatter and the elves will be like,"Oh that's just Gary, don't mind him, he's still salty about being ghosted."
As far as I can find, Soren has only cried twice in the entire six seasons of The Dragon Prince.
Once in Seasons Two, after he's paralyzed by the dragon.
"I was confused, and I didn’t want to do it, but I do want Dad to love me, and be proud of me."
And once in Season Six, when Viren is apologizing to him for all the hurt he's caused.
"Somehow you found the right path in spite of everything I've done. I'm so proud of you."
I've been thinking about this since the season dropped, so now you can too. You're welcome.
It meant a lot to Soren.
“What about here?” Soren asked.
“Here?”
“The castle,” Soren said, gesturing around. “Do you like it here?”
Corvus considered. “I’m not used to it yet.”
“Do you think you could get used to it?”
“Maybe.”
“Join the Crownguard!”
“Soren, I—”
“Jooooiiiin...” Soren waved his hands, his voice singsong. “…the Crownguard!”
Corvus folded his arms over his chest. “Ezran put you up to this.”
“Yes,” Soren admitted. “And also no. I suggested it, and he told me to ask you.”
“You suggested it?”
“Yeah, when Ezran told me how much he liked you. And trusted you. And wanted you to stick around, even though you’re more at home in the forest—and the trees, and whatever. Especially after everything that’s happened, I think—I think that matters a lot to Ezran.”
Corvus gave him a long, thoughtful look. Soren blew a strand of hair out of his face and would not meet Corvus’ eyes. “It matters a lot… to Ezran.”
“To the King, yeah.”
There was a flicker in Soren’s eyes—something dark and pained and wounded, something that he kept well-hidden behind his grin and the gleam of his armor. Corvus knew that darkness had not been born in the shadow of the Storm Spire, but it had deepened there.
It occurred to Corvus that he had never asked Soren how he felt about what had happened. With his father, Lord Viren. With his sister.
With anything, really.
So much had changed, and still Soren tried to smile.
Corvus cleared his throat. “The Crownguard?”
Soren nodded.
As plainly as he could say it, Corvus said, “Alright.”
Soren’s face lit up. “Really?”
“Yes. Really.”

AITA for overreacting when my sister decided to marry a human
I (21 ME) was against my sister’s (27 FE) marriage from the start. Our entire nation was destroyed by humans but for some reason she’s decided to host a bunch of humans from across the border, one of them being her fiance (29 FH). I had been vocal about not agreeing to this wedding but she went ahead anyway, so i decided to take matters into my own hands, leaving the kingdom and started a revolution, which didnt end as well as i hoped. My sister now wants to sentence me and my wife (23 FE) but i think i was just looking out for my people.
So, am i the asshole?
TLDR i went to war with my sister after she decided to forsake our nation
Edit 1 : for those of you in the comments saying that i was reckless for bringing in a dragon or whatever it’s not like he actually showed up so how is it my fault
Edit 2: yes i do realise that half of the population of katolis were killed by sol regum, i don’t understand why you feel the need to pin the blame on me or why ur acting like its such a bad thing
So... the Karim apologists are pretty quiet after season 6 huh?
Like their defense of him in season 4 and 5 was already pretty questionable, but there was a possibility of him backing down. They tied to make the argument he's doing what he thinks is best for his people, blah blah. Which like sure, if you squeeze lemon juice in your eyes and squint I could see it from that point of view.
After season 6 however, man his argument in my eyes has basically boiled down to a reddit post: AITA for not liking my sister having an interracial marriage lol.
All joking aside his argument falls apart the moment he was willing to let sol regem rain hell fire down upon his kingdom, his sister, and her wife, along with the king and queen of two separate kingdoms. Like wtf.
The entire time he was like yeah I love my sister... of course I don't want to hurt my sister she's great. Only to immediately without hesitation attack her on her wedding day with the intent to kill. Maybe not with the intention to specifically kill janai but sol regem is crazy and blind, there was a huge likelihood of sol killing everyone there without remorse. Before anyone tries to say 'no he didn't want to kill anyone' let me remind you that when Ezran broke free and ran back he was like 'guess he'll die too'. Also what about Amaya she's there too and not fire proof. He only cares about himself, and the sunseed or whatever that he made a huge deal about being oh so important, and a representation of their culture, and their past he basically threw it away like it was nothing.
He's gotta be the biggest hypocrite in this show so far, and that's saying a lot.
I hope those ladies who were side eying me as i infodumped tdp s6 lore onto my friend went home and watched it
I will never criticise a show for having the guts to kill off characters but also i wish we got to see more of tiadrin, lain and sarai being alive and interacting w everyone like we know they were all around loveable people and especially when the ones who loved them most were so young when they died of course that’s how they’ll be remembered. But i’d also love to know their flaws and just everything
Why did viren trap people in coins instead of outright killing them? I dont think he had any quasar diamonds hidden away that would let him reverse the spell if necessary (assuming he didn’t k his staff already held one) nor would he have the emotional attachment necessary to free them. I get it for his teacher- easy to hide the mess and no one would ever find the body- but for rayla’s parents? I mean was he gonna sell them?
Damian's Poem
They say the stars outlast us all
Eternal sentinels on high
But i have sought their silver hearts
And wonder if, perhaps, they die
Perhaps they gasp the cold of dawn
A final breath of living night
Then newborn sparks born of the dark
Breath in the dusk, and breathe out light
I cant lie before season six i couldnt get the ocean poem out of my head and now this has taken its place. Help me- LMFAO (Also i hope Callum inherited a few things from Damian bc my man had that poet rizz. I need more rayllum scenes to see Callum's fail attemps of flirting bro lol)
Im always free to talk about rayllum. Waisthold ESPECIALLY have a special place in my heart. Istg rayllum has the whole fandom in a chokehold LMFAO
the kiss of all time i am so serious
ok first the hand hold of all time. he's holding on for dear life (literally)
ok oh my god ok SEVERAL NOTES
the fact that, in the time it took her to let go of his hand and take his face, his hands were already F I R M L Y around her waist. like those did not just land there when she pulled him in ok he was already just gripping a mf
the fact that his hand covers the entire width of her waist. i am a puddle on the floor.
THIS FA
THIS FACE. LOOK AT THIS GODFORSAKEN FACE. THE GOOFY ASS SMILE. DUMBASS. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
if someone wants to talk about the way he literally presses her body into his i'm always free.
absolutely sickening. disgusting. vile. i have never seen so much pure love in my entire life. my aortas are failing.
Why does this remind me of that scene in how to train your dragon 2 where hiccup talks to toothless to get him out of the alphas control? LMFAO DONT MIND ME JUST TOO MUCH STUFF GOING ON UPSTAIRS
The more I think about it the more that monster Rayla saved with kindness seems significant…
Like what if Callum gets “possessed” or whatever by dark magic and instead of killing him Rayla uses love/compassion/kindness to bring him back…
So we can agree that Sol Regem pulled an Apep when he swallowed the dude, right?..
Right.
watching ep8 of s5 was like AHHHH :( watching ep1 of s6 was like AGHHHHHHHHHH SDBFGHDKSFBDSFDGHSNHINSDGUOHBDS AghHHHHHHHHFDSHFSDHDS
also dude claudia's va did so good in ep1 s6
at the end of the day, Aaravos is just a father. Just a grieving man seeking vengeance, who once cared dearly about each and every individual.
Soren having to listen to Viren apologize and praise him is so. Visceral.
The simultaneous ecstasy and rage that comes from hearing the person you wanted to please most say exactly what you wanted to hear, but knowing deep down this must be a trick... right? He's just trying to manipulate you again. Even if he has changed, you can never let yourself be vulnerable to him again because what if he hasn't? Your relationship with him is so broken that believing that he's changed is a danger to you.
But still you personally bring him food every day, you still ask for his help in your most desperate moment when everything is burning down around you because he is your dad. And you love him as much as you hate him. And it sickens you. Look what he's done to you. To everyone. This is his fault, and he is the only one who can fix it.
But you can never be fixed. Your heart will continue to burn, caused by no dark magic, but because of expertly inflicted wounds.
