IF YOU KNOW😬

I never know what's going in me. Maybe that is why my writings are ambiguous. There is no beginning, or an ending but just a turmoil of scattered emotions. I speak as if I know, only to relinquish I don't know any of it. And somedays the weight of word is only known to me-only me, and nobody else.

There comes a time when you look into the mirror and you realize that all you see is all you will ever be. And then you accept it. Or you kill yourself. Or you stop looking in mirrors. - Tennessee Williams, from The Two Character Play

"I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree... One fig was a husband and a happy home and children, and another fig was a famous poet and another fig was a brilliant professor... another fig was Constantin and Socrates.... a pack of other lovers... beyond and above these figs were many more... I saw myself sitting... starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind which of the figs I would choose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one meant losing all the rest, and, as I sat there, unable to decide, the figs began to wrinkle and go black, and, one by one, they plopped to the ground at my feet."

Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar

K. now knew perfectly well that it should have been his duty, as the knife was passed from hand to hand over him, to take hold of it and plunge it into himself. He could not bring himself to do it.

Franz Kafka, The Trial
