I've been revisiting an old game
Elesa used to be one of those gym leaders I could never beat because my starter was always oshawott. I still think she’s neat though.
You are challenged by PKMN Trainer Elesa, Emmet and Ingo.
Wanted to try my hand at kid designs so here you go. I also realized that Emmet, Ingo and Elesa share some Pokémon like Eelektross and Galvantula so I like to think they caught some of them together.

Pokémon Water Blue: 7/10
follows the pattern of the series it’s referring to
taking off a point bc the logo has the font for diamond and pearl
i’m taking 2 points off for it being boring, this is not at fault of the name it’s just that the string of remasters’ names are just kinda sad
also where was yellow? :(
Pokémon Z: 9/10
follows pattern of games it refers to
logo looks like it would be on the box art
taking a point off because i think the z would be yellow because i like the primary colors
how would they make a z shaped pokémon
Pokemon Delta Emerald: 6/10
-1 point because it doesn’t follow the only trope i know with alpha and omega, therefore it should be (i’m sorry) Beta Emerald not Delta
-2 points because it the letters aren’t elongated
-1 point because it’s not even the same font
Pokémon Mind Crystal: 9/10
overall good, follows pattern
font is the same
the little crystal, logo, thing at the end looks good
point taken for mind crystal not being in bold
Pokémon Gray: 10/10
follows pattern of its friends
font is the same
got the same weird shine thing going on
could have told me this was a thing and i would’ve believed you

Pokémon Stars: 9/10
-1 there should only be one star (pokémon ultra stars just seems slightly to long)

the star looks nice
good color

love it
would be 15/10 if the dog head was just starring at you
font follows pattern of the other two referencing a slicing motion and defensive spikes the dark spots obviously representing holes

Unovan Ace Trainer
Decide to draw my favorite design of the Ace Trainer from Pokémon.
…Lacey looks a little like Yancy, no?
From the postgame of Black and White 2. She forms a pseudo-relationship after the protagonist returns an item to her-specifically the male protagonist, because Game Freak were cowards.
The resemblance is probably not significant, but I would like to at least bring Yancy and Pokémon postgames further into the spotlight. Also, I like her and really want to find a legitimate White 2 game
I decided to do character study on black and white's main characters and their rivals. I also did the rest of the league and Ghetsis but I think I might post that separately. I think the next character study I'll do will be on sun and moon and ultra sun and moon.
Anyways I think they're all the right amount of traumatized :)
