“Y/N,” you stirred slowly in your bed, turning over to fall back into deep rem. “Baby, wake up.” You felt two large hands grip your hips, softly urging you to roll over onto your back. You groaned into your pillow, begrudgingly moving to face the culprit.
“Hmmm,” you hummed rubbing your eyes aggressively, letting them adjust to the streams of sunlight penetrating your shared bedroom.
“Surprise!!” A beaming Namjoon said happily. He stood beside you holding a tray of assorted fruit and a coffee, surprisingly making it to your room without spilling anything.
You noticed the pink heart shaped balloon tied to the handle of the brown serving tray. Giggling as you finally found yourself fully conscious. You lifted your arms from under your weighted comforter, stretching them wildly before reaching towards your lover.
Namjoon sat the tray on your bedside table, sitting comfortably next to your waiting frame. You sat up giddily wrapping your arms around him in a tight hug. He reciprocated contently squeezing your body against his. He pulled away attacking your face with a bundle of feather-light kisses.
“Happy Valentine’s Day,” you muttered your voice still groggy with sleep.
“And happy anniversary my love,” he said warmly. You smiled at the not so distant memory of Namjoon asking to be your boyfriend last year. An easy yes for any sane suitor of such a golden man.
“So lame,” you teased poking his dimples. He feigned hurt placing a hand over his chest in shock. Pinning you to the bed suddenly, he smiled as you let out a huff.
“But you love it,” he said leaning down to plant a trail of kissing down your neck. You relished in the feeling of his lips, sighing when he left a lingering kiss on your collarbone.
“Hey, at least let me have breakfast first” you whined, trying to wiggle your way from under your boyfriend. He laughed at your foiled attempts to escape before letting you go.
“I’ll go wash up,” you said grabbing a strawberry from a plate on the tray. Turning to Namjoon and feeding him one. He pressed a kiss to the palm of your hand, exiting the room swiftly.
Your feet padded softly on the carpet as you walked into your bathroom. Not expecting to see a gift basket of new toiletries waiting for you atop the counter. You squealed seeing the cutely decorated items.
You felt beyond lucky to have someone as thoughtful as Joon. He regularly made you feel special in ways that once felt unattainable. You began brushing your teeth, humming the lyrics to whatever came to mind.
The thought of Namjoon sneaking around to prepare little things for you sending a love surge through your body. I’ve rejected affection for years and years, you sang in your head. Pushing away the sporadic thoughts of resentment for past relationship mistakes.
The thoughts rarely crossed your mind anymore. Namjoon is the last one you’ll ever kiss, and truly love deeply. You washed your face gently, before hanging the towel on its respective rack. Having the privilege of learning and growing together has changed your life for the better.
You make your way down the long hallway, seeing the light of the kitchen shine in the corridor. As you crossed over into the kitchen you found Namjoon leaning against the counter. A wrapped bouquet of wildflowers sat graciously in his hand. Your eyes widened at the sentiment, rushing over to embrace him.
He quickly moved the flowers to the counter, fearing they’d get squished between you. After a string of I love you’s and a never ending hug, you began to gush about your other gift. Thanking him for the small details he always remembers. He tilted his head curiously, smiling down at you. “What?” You asked confused, wiping at your cheek as if something were there.
“Nothing, you’re just beautiful.” He confessed admirably, grabbing your hand from your cheek and placing another kiss to your palm. You felt your heartbeat racing, wondering how you got caught in a romance with him somehow. He looked so pretty all you could do was blush.
“I love you,” he mumbled against your lips, sending a shock through your bones. The thought of losing him causing a pain in your chest. You pulled away to catch your breath, running a hand along his shaved head.
“Now, we have dinner tonight at 8.” He said running to the living room. You jogged behind him excitedly, trying to meet his long strides.
“So don’t forget to wear this,” he beamed proudly, handing you a heart covered gift bag containing a dress.
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
Kiss Me Better | JJK

It was around ten at night and you still weren't home. This has been going on for about a week now, and Jungkook is tired of it. He wanted answers as to why you were always late.
He was sitting in the living room with his legs bouncing, waiting for you to come home. He was anxious to thrust this issue onto you, but he felt like you were neglecting him; that maybe you might be cheating. Jungkook was never one to judge your faithfulness, but ever since you started coming home late every possible idea started popping up in his head. And when he tried talking to you about it, you would wave him off saying that you're tired.
Jungkook heard the familiar car beep. He got up instantly and trudged his way near the end of the entryway. He saw the doorknob twist open to reveal the fatigued woman he called "his". He watched you take off your shoes and place them on the shoe rack, throwing your work purse on the entryway table. It wasn't until you were steps away that you noticed your lover at the end of the hall.
Your body perked up at the sight of your boyfriend. You dragged your feet to Jungkook and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "Hey, baby." But before Jungkook had time to greet you back, you were already sprawled out on the couch. Jungkook made a face of disdain to himself; how could you treat him like this. He felt hurt by your action. He took a minute to compose himself; he didn't want to confront you with rage coursing through his body.
Once he was calm, Jungkook made a beeline to you. He saw that your eyes were already closed; you looked very exhausted. He wanted to leave you alone, that he will have this conversation with you some other time, but he thought against it. Jungkook cleared his throat, making you open your eyes. You did a light stretch on the couch. "What is it, babe?" Jungkook took a shape inhale, "I want to talk to you."
You instantly sat up. In your four years of dating, Jungkook rarely says the words "I want to talk to you.", every time they get spoken, they would usually lead to arguments. Your attention was wide awake; you were getting nervous about what this conversation might lead to. "What is it, Jungkook?"
Jungkook clenched his jaw, tightening his facial muscles. With gritted teeth, Jungkook seethed, "I want to know why you've been coming home so late now?" You were shocked, to say the least. You knew that coming home so late would bring suspicion to your boyfriend, but you didn't think that he would be this angry.
"Umm... I..." You didn't know what to say to him. You wanted to tell him the reason, but you didn't want to ruin the surprise. Jungkook didn't like the fact that you were hesitating. You were always honest with him, never afraid to be blunt. "Why the hell are you hesitating, ____? You're fucking some other man, aren't you?" he yelled.
Your body jolted at his interrogation. His words were harsh, sending goosebumps through your body. You didn't like his assumption of you cheating. You stood up and questioned, "You think I'm cheating on you?" Your voice was laced with warning; warning that if he thought that way of you, you wouldn't be afraid to stand your ground.
One thing that Jungkook would never admit, is that every time you gave him this certain type of tone, he feels like being buried six feet under. Jungkook gulped down some spit that he didn't know was being harbored. "I don't know. You could be." You scoffed at his words, "Fuck you. I don't have time for this. I'm going to bed." You turned your body in the direction of the bedroom.
As you started walking, you heard Jungkook hysterically laughing. He growled, "Fuck me? No, fuck you, ____!" Before you halted your movement, Jungkook stomped his way to you and tightly latched his hand to your wrist, pulling you towards him. You yelped at the sudden action, pain taking hold of your arm. Jungkook immediately lets go. He was about to apologize, but you beat the gun.
You pushed him to the carpeted floor, holding your wrist to your heart. Tears started welling up. Never in a million years did you think Jungkook would say those things to you. The physical pain could not compare to the pain you were feeling emotionally. You cried out to him, "You wanna know why I've been coming home so late? You wanna know why I'm always so tired?" At this point, your tears were freely flowing. Jungkook was on the floor, not moving an inch, but he so badly wanted to wipe your tears away.
You bellowed, "It's not because I'm fucking some other man, Jungkook! It's because I took in overtime at work! I took in some extra hours to earn more money for our trip!" Jungkook was stunned at your confession. Shame taking its place in his heart. How could he accuse you of cheating? How could he say those hurtful things to you?
You softly added, "Do you remember two weeks ago, when we were talking about our parents? You had missed yours so badly because you hadn't seen them in months. You wanted to go visit them, but we didn't have the money." Jungkook started crying; he was starting to realize your reason. You faced the other way, not wanting to see Jungkook cry. You knew if you did, you would fall prey to him. He hurt you, and you didn't want to fall so easily.
Jungkook cried harder, and hearing him, so did you. You tried containing any sound leaving your mouth, coming out muffled. You sniffled, "I wanted to surprise you this Sunday. I was going to buy the tickets and book the hotel room tomorrow. I didn't want to tell you this way." Jungkook was biting his lips so hard when you were talking; he almost drew blood. When he felt your presence fading, he shot up and gently looped his arms around your torso.
He cried to you, tears falling on your shoulders, making your shirt damp. "Baby, I'm so-" You intervened, "Stop." You unhooked his arms apart. "Just stop, Jungkook. I'm tired." Jungkook shook his head vigorously. He wanted you to know how shameful he feels; apologize until you're tired of hearing it. "____, please. I'm so sorry."
You whipped your body around, facing him. You demanded, "Shut up, Jungkook! I said I'm tired, okay? We'll talk about this later." And after your ending sentence, you marched your way to the bedroom, not giving Jungkook a second to respond.
You plopped yourself on the shared bed, taking off your clothing, only leaving you in your underwear. You would've loved to have Jungkook wrap his arms around you while you went to sleep, but right now you just wanted to be alone. It only took a few minutes for your tears to start flowing again, and this time you didn't stop them. You let the tears, the darkness, and the warmth of the blanket lull you to sleep.
Jungkook on the other hand, was sitting on the couch pondering about his actions - his words. He hated himself for what he did. The way he talked to you, the way he gripped your wrist with so much force, the way he doubted your faithfulness; accused you of cheating. You are everything to him. He would move hell and heaven if you demanded it. You could say the vilest insult to him, throw your hardest punch and he'll still run back to you. He would do anything and everything just for you, but at the moment he didn't deserve you. You were the light of his life, but he knew that tonight he had dimmed you.
You woke up with the biggest headache. You haven't felt like this in years, so emotionally drained. The last time was when you had officially cut off ties with your mother. She never really approved of Jungkook, always calling him a bad influence. She was the type of person to judge the exterior before knowing what was on the inside. Hating Jungkook is an understatement, she loathed him.
You love your mother, but all the things she said about Jungkook stirred you away from appreciating her presence. He didn't want you to cut communications with her, but it was not only for him but for your sanity. The longer you kept in contact, the more you'll start going crazy about her foolish assumptions about your boyfriend. It was hard cutting her off, but it was definitely needed.
You rolled off of the bed, not caring that you were basically nude. You stumbled your way to the door, wanting to go to the bathroom. When you opened the door, you found Jungkook laying right against the beige wall. His appearance was rugged. His hair sticking up from every angle, and the faint smell of beer, he was still wearing the same clothes from last night.
Your heart tingled at the feeling that Jungkook must have stayed out here for you, wanting to be close to you, but also giving you your space. But then the reoccurring memory from last night punched its way through your brain. You slammed the door, stirring Jungkook awake. For a split second, Jungkook thought lighting came striking down to their house. His body jumped from the sudden bang, hitting his head against the wall in the process. He rubbed the sore area, hoping the action would ease the pain.
He didn't know what happened. He looked around the area for anything that might have caused the loud sound. But then he heard shuffling on the other side of the door. Jungkook got up without a second thought and was about to knock. His fist hovered the wooden entrance. He wanted to knock, but he was scared. After everything that he had done, he was worried that you wouldn't want to see him again.
Moments go by until Jungkook finally knocked on the door. "Baby?" he softly said. "Baby, can I come in?" He waited for your response, but all that answered him was silence. He clenched and unclenched his fists. Jungkook has never felt this nervous. He took a deep breath, "I'm gonna come in, ____. Okay?" He tapped his fingers against his thigh a few times, trying to calm the bundle of nerves. With one more deep breath, Jungkook carefully opened the bedroom door.
In his line of sight, Jungkook saw you curled up in the bed, the blanket hugging your body for security. He saw the throw pillows along with your clothes scattered across the floor; the whole atmosphere was messy. You were always the clean one in the relationship, so the fact that you couldn't care for the unkempt room made Jungkook more nervous than he already was.
Jungkook tried navigating his way to you, but he still wound up stepping on your clothes. When he got to you, he sat on the edge of the bed next to you silently. None of you guys peeped a word; the air was tense. You wanted to speak to him first, to yell at him for his absurdity, but you're also stubborn. So, you waited for Jungkook to talk first. Jungkook knew how you were; he knew that you were itching to say something first, but you were headstrong on finishing last.
He took it in himself to speak first. "____, I want to tell you how incredibly sorry I am, and that I regret everything that I had said." He looked at your covered figure with much sorrow. He wanted to see your beautiful face, even if you were to give him the most angered look. "Baby, can you please look at me?" You meekly spoke, "No."
A few tears threatened to escape his eyes. Jungkook took a deep breath and brought out his hand to cup your face. He slowly turned your head to face him, and you made no retaliation to his actions. Your face showed no emotion, but Jungkook saw the pain swimming in your eyes. He hurt you deeply, and he hurt you hard. "Please, know how sorry I am."
You took his hand away from your face. You rolled your eyes; you were tired of hearing it. "I know how sorry you are, Jungkook. I can see from your body language, your facial expression. I can hear it in your voice, okay? I know... So, please stop saying it." He nodded his head, understanding what you were saying. "I'm sor-"
"Jungkook!" you warned. "If all you're going to do is say sorry, then leave me alone." You went back to your previous position, trying to ignore your boyfriend's presence. He definitely knows how to push your buttons. Jungkook didn't want to leave this situation alone like this; he wanted to make it better. So, he said the first thing that came to mind, "Tell me where I hurt you, and I'll kiss it better."
You jested his words, "Kiss it better? Seriously?" Jungkook couldn't see your face, but by the tone of your words, he knew that the idea was stupid. But stupid or not Jungkook wanted to make you feel better. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Yeah. It can be a start, right?" You took a minute to reel in the idea. It could maybe be a start.
You clicked your tongue and brought your wrist to his face. Without facing Jungkook, you demanded, "It didn't bruise, but you really hurt me here. So... kiss it." Jungkook gave a tiny smile; he was happy that you were open to his idea. He carefully grabbed your arm, making sure to not touch the area he has hurt you. Jungkook's soft touch sent small currents through your body. He brought your pained wrist to his lips and placed small but mellow kisses on them. Afterward, Jungkook rubbed the area with his thumb, hoping that it would soothe the pain.
He docile his voice, "Where else?" You were thinking of a place where he should kiss next, and during that time you positioned your body forward. Jungkook watched you readjust your body; you had looked so cute to him.
You looked at Jungkook with a stern expression, and said, "My ears, from hearing you talk shit to me." Jungkook invisibly flinched at your words, but a slight hint of grimace surfaced. He bent down to you and positioned his lips to your ear. He gave you a kiss, and the small smack of the contact rang. With his lips pressed against your ear, Jungkook quietly spoke, "Tell me more, baby. Where else are you hurt?" His breath shadowed your skin, leaving you dumb.
When you stayed quiet, Jungkook got a little concerned. He lifted his head up, his face inches away from yours. "Baby?" You saw the worriedness etched into his face, creating crease lines on his skin. He placed his forehead on yours and stared deeply into your eyes. He could still see that you were angry, but slowly he saw a bit of softness take place. You didn't want to admit that your boyfriend's idea was proving right, but his gentle kisses were so hard to ignore. It's like Jungkook has this magic spell where you could never say no.
You gulped down some spit, you didn't want to choke when you talked. "My eyes. You made them painstakingly teary." You had closed your eyes for Jungkook to kiss. He took a second to stare at them. Even with your eyes closed, you could still make out the redness around them. The more he looked, the more Jungkook hated himself for your pain. With each kiss of your eyelids, Jungkook had closed his, projecting his pain to himself.
When it was done, Jungkook remorsefully uttered, "____ - baby... I'm so sorry. Ev-" You interjected, "I have one more place that I want you to kiss better." Jungkook replied, "Of course. I'll kiss wherever you want." You slightly sat up; your upper back pressed against the headboard of your guy's bed. You choked, "Kiss my heart. Out of all the places you have hurt me, my heart hurts the most." You didn't want to sound choked, but you couldn't help it. "Please, kiss me better, Jungkook." you cried.
Jungkook's heart panged harshly at your pained confession. He started crying; his heart broke into a million pieces. The one place where he vowed to not hurt at the start of your guy's relationship, he did. You tried watching your boyfriend intensely, but your tears were blurring your vision.
Jungkook moved his hand to the blanket that was still covering you. It slid down and your breast was fully seen. Usually, Jungkook would be surprised at your nudity when he wasn't expecting it, but right now, all that Jungkook could see - could focus on was the area that your heart resided in. He looped one arm around your bare torso, gently pulling you towards him, and the other rested along your back.
He kissed your heart with so much tenderness. He cried while doing so, his tears falling on your bare skin. You couldn't stop the waterworks once his soft lips landed on you. Jungkook kept kissing you, hoping that each kiss took away the pain he had caused, but the more he did the more you cried. He had hurt you too much that even the kisses couldn't heal you.
Jungkook moved his head away from your chest and fully grabbed you. He hugged you tightly, just letting you cry your pain out to him. He didn't know what to say, all he could really do was comfort you. Jungkook placed one of his hands on your nape, while the other did long comforting strokes on your back. You heard Jungkook trying to shush you, not in a mean way, but to relax you, but it didn't work.
What felt like hours were only minutes, you had finally calmed down. You pulled away from Jungkook. You spotted a big wet mark on his shirt. You apologized profusely for making his shirt dirty. Jungkook only laughed; he didn't care that your snot and tears - possibly your saliva were on his shirt, hell, he wouldn't care if you even threw up on him. All that he cared about right now was how you were feeling.
You were about to wipe your face on your arm, but you didn't have a shirt on. "I'm sorry, I look horrible right now." Jungkook shook his head at your words. "You don't have to be sorry. You don't look horrible right now. To me, you look beautifully messy." You blushed at his compliment. "Yeah, but I still have snot and tears all over my face."
Jungkook sarcastically rolled his eyes. He jumped off of the bed and stood in front of you. He bundled his shirt up to his chest and carefully pulled you towards him. You were confused at first, but then you realized he was going to wipe your face with his shirt - like a mother. When he did, Jungkook shrugged, "It's already dirty, so, don't worry about it. Plus, nothing like a few more bodily fluids, right?" You felt like laughing at his rhetorical question, but all you could feel was the guilt for ruining your boyfriend's shirt.
Jungkook chucked his dirty shirt on the messy floor and climbed into bed with you. He hesitated on pulling you close to him; he didn't want to push any boundaries you might have set on him. "Is it okay if I hold you?" Instead of answering his question, you pulled him towards you. You buried your face in his chest. You wanted Jungkook to hold but he wasn't. You murmured against his skin, "Why aren't you holding me?"
"I didn't know if I was supposed to." You wrapped your arms around your boyfriend's build. "Well, I want you to hold me." And like so, Jungkook held you close. He buried his face in your hair, breathing in your intoxicating scent. If Jungkook were to die right now, he would die a happy man; being in your arms, breathing you in is all he could ever ask for.
Before speaking Jungkook licked his lips, "____, I want to tell - shit! Babe, ow!" You had kicked Jungkook to further stop his sentence. "Like I said before, if you're going to keep apologizing then please leave. Because honestly, babe, I'm really tired of hearing you say that." Jungkook chuckled at your annoyance. "I wasn't going to apologize if that makes you happy. I was going to say how regretful I am to accuse you of cheating. How regretful I am of gripping you hard on the wrist. Cursing and yelling at you. I regret everything that happened last night."
You held Jungkook tighter to you. In situations similar to this, Jungkook was always the one comforting you; you were the stubborn one in the relationship. It was kind of hard being on the opposite side. You tried your best of comforting Jungkook, but you couldn't really do it physically, that spectrum resides for Jungkook.
So, you did what you do best, you comforted him verbally. "I know I can't ask you to feel a certain way, but know this, Jungkook," You lifted your head up to him, and expressed, "Everything that happened last night could never erase my four years of love for you. What you did to me definitely hurt me, but you cannot shoulder all of this guilt. I also was at fault."
Jungkook pulled away slightly. He couldn't believe what he heard. He denied, "No! You did nothing wrong." You furrowed your brows. "But I did, Jungkook! If I hadn't kept this a secret... if I had just told you my reason for being out so long, we wouldn't be in this predicament. I should have told you, and for that, I'm sorry." Jungkook wanted to argue your statement, but the look on your face was pleading with him to forgive you.
Jungkook shimmied his way down to you, eyes meeting at the same level. He pushed some of your hair away from your face, tucking them behind your ear. Your beauty was something to treasure. Jungkook smiled, "You're so beautiful, baby. If you want me to forgive you, I need you to forgive me as well."
You lifted your pointer finger up when an idea came to mind. "One last request," Jungkook smirked, wondering what trick you have up your sleeve. You continued on, "Kiss me on the lips and I'll forgive you."
You didn't have to tell him twice. Jungkook smashed his lips on yours, taking you all in. He cupped your jaw in between his hands, holding you tightly. Your small moans drowning in your lover's mouth. Your wondering hands feel the toned muscles beneath your fingertips. Somewhere along the way, you climbed on top of Jungkook. The slight grinding you were doing on his lap made him jolt. He softly gripped your arms and pushed you away.
"Baby, I think we should stop, because if we continue this, I don't think I'll have the urge to control my craving." You jumped on his lap, taunting him. Jungkook wasn't having it, so, he switched your positions; you were laying underneath him, while he trapped you between his arms. "Didn't I say you should stop?" he growled.
All you did was grin like a kid who won a stuffed animal at a carnival. You wrapped your arms around Jungkook's - somewhat sweaty neck. God only knows how much you love this man. If a home was a person, he would be yours. You proclaimed, "I love you so much, Jungkook." Jungkook saw the love swirling in your irises; his heart swarmed with adoration for you. As a response, he said, "I love you, ___. I could never love anybody as much as I love you."
You guys kissed one more time before going back to cuddling. In the middle of basking in each other's presence, you blurted, "Oh god, we have to buy the tickets today. Not only that, but we also hav-" Jungkook placed his rough hand on top of your mouth. “Shhh... It's cuddle time, babe." You pushed his hand away and giggled. You wished there was a word more than love, maybe devotion, but you really love Jungkook.

notes | i’m finally back after so fucking long, but this is my first time writing something so heartwarming.... I AM VERY EXCITED!!! this is also very short but i hope it’s still a fun read despite that. there might be some spelling mistakes, so i’m sorry if there is… :/
The comfort of the weighted blanket and the shine of the moonlight had lulled you to sleep... that was until you felt cold rough hands roam your bare back. Your eyes popped out and you quickly squirmed away from the harsh sensation. You turned around to find the perpetrator and you came face to face with the one you call "yours".
"Jungkook!" you squealed. The biggest smile painted your beautiful face and, in that moment, you didn't care that the handsome man in front of you had ruined your amazing sleep.
Jungkook watched you with love swimming in his eyes. He watched as your alluring face shone with great surprise. A goddess you were. He also took in a quick notice on how you displayed nothing but pretty blue panties on; he almost felt himself drooling at the enchanting sight.
You lunged at your boyfriend, wrapping your arms around his big build. Thankfully Jungkook knew how you get when you're excited, so the moment you took the first steps to him, he immediately knew that a big hug was taking its course. He gently held you as you both fell backwards; a loud thump echoed throughout the room. You looked down to see that your boyfriend had cushioned the fall.
His face contorted with pain, he rasped out, "You okay, baby?" You softly cupped his face and gave the pained man a chaste kiss on the lips. With his face still between your small hands, you stared into his mesmerizing brown doe-eyes. You lightly whispered against the lips of your lover, "You shouldn't be asking me that."
Jungkook saw the tenderly feeling you projected at him with your pretty eyes. He couldn't control the craving he had for you; he'd been away from you for what seemed like forever. The spell that you didn't know you were doing captivated him, and he loved every second of it.
He swiftly picked you up and gently placed you on the bed, only for him to aggressively kiss you like there was no tomorrow; the action left you breathless. But in a quick second, you replicated the same feeling back.
One hand gripped the compression shirt that Jungkook had on, wanting to be as close to him as possible. While the other hand, you raked your fingers through his soft hair gently pulling from time to time. Jungkook had one arm looped around your torso, and the other cupping your face. The kiss was getting loud and messy; moans were being swallowed by the other, teeth would clash, togues would fight for control.
You pulled away hoping to catch your breath, but Jungkook doesn't seem to want to give you that choice, because his next action knocked you ways back. Jungkook loves the way you shudder under his touch, so when you detached your lips from his, he placed his mouth on your neck, feeling your pulse rapidly going. Your neck started becoming his next meal. You couldn't keep up with the constant pleasure; you grabbed a fistful of your boyfriend's hair and pulled him away from you. Breathlessly, you demanded, "No more. I can't keep up, babe."
Jungkook pouted at your words; he scooted himself in the corner of the room and sarcastically grumbled, "You hate me, huh, ____?" You watched your boyfriend with wide eyes at his accusation. You rolled your eyes at his childish behavior and giggled under your breath. You started getting cold, so you took the initiative on finding yourself a shirt. As you dug around your dresser, you could feel the intense burn of a certain someone staring you down.
Jungkook watched you with lust building up. He could never be tired of seeing the ethereal being roaming around the place. The moonlight shining on your bare skin makes it look like you're the rarest gem he's ever seen. You could be wearing the most ridiculous outfit, and he would still think you're the most precious thing that has ever lived.
You finally found a shirt to wear that had little cats on it, and in the midst of putting on the shirt, you called out, "How long are you gonna be staring at me? I can feel your eyes burn though my back."
Jungkook slyly smirked to himself. Not wanting to admit that his eyes were thirsting for your body, he teased with sass, "Honey... what makes you think you're so special for me to look at? Hmm?"
You turned around with your mouth agape. You could see the slight glimmer of playfulness in his eyes, so to match the energy, you retorted back, "Well then, I guess you wouldn't mind if I were to post that picture on my insta, since you think that I'm not special for me to be looked at."
In a flash you saw his face drop with seriousness; that made you smile so much brighter. Jungkook on the other hand knew that you were joking, but yet the thought of others seeing that precious photo of you made his blood slightly boil. He so badly wanted to wipe that pretty smile off your face, but he loved the cuteness you displayed when you were getting on his nerves. So, wanting to keep that version of yourself a little longer he fed into your teasing.
Jungkook got up and trudged his way to your perky self. Once he was fully in front of you, he dropped his head on your shoulder and quietly pleaded, "Don't post that photo, baby, please? I will do whatever you want me to. I just can't have others seeing what's mine."
Your boyfriend's words were feeding into your ego; you felt somewhat victorious. You tapped your lips and showcased an expression that you were thinking about his words. "Hmm... well since you seem upset, I guess I won't post it, but in exchange I need you to truly beg - like down on your knees and your hands in prayer position."
Jungkook took a deep breath in when he heard those words. You never fail to make him feel disbelief from your words or actions. He lifted up his head and like the good boyfriend he is, he got down and was ready to beg... until you raised your hand and interrupted, "Hold on for a quick second. I have to get my phone."
In that moment, Jungkook felt like ripping out his hair. He inaudibly yelled and before you could grab your phone, he threw you over his shoulder.
"Jungkook!" you squealed, "What are you doing? Let me down!" Jungkook didn't reply to you, instead he ran out the room and once he reached the living room, the tall man started jumping; like you were weights, and he was doing exercises. You tried yelling out your anger, but with all the movements, all you could spout out was laughs and groans.
After what seems like forever, Jungkook finally set you down on the couch and smiled with triumph. He saw the way your chest was heaving up and down, the way your hair was all over the place, the tired expression on your face; a certain thought punched its way through his brain. With arms crossed and a content emotion painting him, Jungkook lightly laughed, "You know, baby, this view in front of me... dangerously beautiful."
You looked up at your boyfriend with heavy eyes and said, "What are you talking about?" Jungkook answered, "I'm saying that you look fucked, like I just fucked you hard and bad type-a-fucked." You leaned your head back and let out a sigh, "What the hell, Jungkook." You soon started laughing, "Why are you like this?" The man standing before you laughed as well.
With your head still leaned back you felt a deep dip right by you. You lightly tilted your head to see the view of your beautiful lover beaming with a serene expression. The love you have for this man is so evergreen. The thought that you have gained such a breathtaking partner, never fails to amaze you. The slight dimple that showcased itself the moment he smiled burst opened your heart. You immediately jumped into his lap in a straddle position and nested your head in the crook of his neck.
Jungkook grabbed tight of you and held you with such tenderness; both hands gently caressing your clothed back. This right here is home to him.
"How was work?" you spoke out.
"Hmm, it was good. Nothing to say really - oh wait... I got a new client and she -"
You quickly jerked your head up and gave your boyfriend a stern look; you interrupted, "She? Is she prettier than me?" Jungkook felt himself deeply sigh within. Every time he brings up the slightest mention of a girl you start turning into a jealous girlfriend. But Jungkook knows deep down you're only do this for attention. You will trust this man no matter what.
Jungkook softly grabbed your face and stared at you with reassurance. "Babe," he quietly proclaimed, "There is no other girl than you... and I say that with everything in me. How can I be with - even think about another woman than you? ____, believe when I say this... you are the only one for me. The only one I want to be with. Okay, you have to stop with that bullshit. You little attention seeker."
You started blushing like crazy. You knew that nobody else matter but you, but you still can't help but want to play a bit crazy. You hid your face right back to its previous position and smiled with every fiber in you. You always loved pushing his buttons.
Still red about what your lover had said, you murmured against his warm neck, "Did you at least made sure that you weren't a single man?"
Jungkook gave you slight side eye knowing that you won't be able to see his reaction. He formed his lips to a thin line and did another deep sigh. Trying to calm himself, Jungkook did little traces of circles on your smooth bare thigh. You felt this action and you knew that you got him annoyed. He always does this to make sure he doesn't have an outburst.
Before you had the chance to take back your question, Jungkook intervened, "You certainly are something, babe. I'll have you know - before you interrupted me in the beginning and said your little nonsense question - my client is a 36-year-old, gay woman. The reason why she wanted to have me as her trainer is because she wanted the woman she likes to be jealous. I'm the pawn, babe."
You mentally slapped yourself. You always did this; jump to conclusions was what you were good at. You sucked in some air through your teeth and slowly raised your head to apologize. The second you did though, Jungkook already had an expression that read "Are you happy now?".
You showed an embarrassed smile and softly laughed, "Oops." you exhaled. At that moment, Jungkook felt his heart flutter by your cuteness despite you getting him annoyed. He couldn't help but give in. He swiftly hooked one arm around your torso and the other gabbed a hold of your ass to keep you secured; he stood up and smiled at you.
The action took you by surprise but the second you saw his beautiful bunny smile you became the happiest person in that moment. You looped your arms around his shoulders and giggle, "What are you doing?" Jungkook kept quiet. Admiring you was all he could do right now; inspect every inch of that gorgeous face of yours. You saw the little twinkles in his irises and you wondered if it was the lights... it wasn't. It was all pure love that showed.
The look he gave you right now made you feel like you were the only person on this earth, that you were the only person his eyes could lay on. You felt like a goddess upon his longing stare.
"I love you."
"And I love you."
Jungkook carefully walked with you in his arms to the kitchen. He set you down on one of chairs around the kitchen island and kissed your cheek. He made his way to the cabinets and asked, "Okay, I can either make you some hot chocolate or chamomile tea. Something good and relaxing since its late. Take your pick?"
You pursed your lips while you did some thinking. "Hmm, I'll take some warm water instead, please?" Jungkook did a sharp turn of his head and gave you a grossed look. "Who the fuck drinks warm water? Oh, wait, you..." he dramatically said.
Not wanting him to get away with it, you fired back, "Who the fuck wears toe socks? Oh, hold on a minute, you... Oh, and don't get me started on who eats -"
The man before you rushed to your side and clasped his rough hand over your mouth. Your eyes gave a dirty look and you brushed his hand off from you. With playfulness lacing your words, you dared, "I can keep this going all night. So, either you give me what I asked for or I can tell you more that I have in mind. Take. Your. Pick?"
What you had said made Jungkook fall in love with you all over again. Your boldness was one of the things that caught his attention. Jungkook released some air from out his throat and grinned. "It shouldn't be, but that was fucking hot." He walked his way to fill up some water in the kettle, and added, "You know, ____, I wouldn't mind you talking like that to me again." Your breathing stopped for a quick second when those words left his mouth. Your face got a little red.
You breathed roughly through your nose and lightly exhaled with a smile, “You know, babe, you sound like you like being degraded.”
Jungkook slowly turned his head and gave you a sly smirk. You rolled your eyes at his action and softly smiled to yourself, “Stupid.” you quietly whispered.
After a few minutes Jungkook got done doing the drinks. He placed the cups on the counter with a soft clink, and you watched as the steam curled up from the hot liquid. He slid your warm water over to you, his fingers briefly brushing against yours, sending a small thrill through your veins.
He settled into the chair beside you, his knee grazing yours under the table. You both knew this comfortable proximity, this quiet intimacy, was something special. It was in these small moments that the bond between you deepened, wordlessly.
Your buff bunny took a sip of his hot chocolate, his eyes never leaving yours, the warmth of the drink mirroring the warmth that filled the space between you two. "You know," he began, his voice soft and teasing, "there are a lot of things I'd let you get away with, but not with that look you just gave me."
You chuckled, lifting your cup to your lips. The warmth of the water soothed you, but it was his presence that really made you feel at ease. "And what look was that?" you asked, your voice a bit huskier than usual. You knew that he knew what you were doing, and he’s loving every second of it.
He shrugged nonchalantly, though the mischievous gleam in his eyes betrayed his true feelings. "That look that says you're always one step ahead of me. It's infuriatingly attractive," he admitted, leaning in closer.
You bit your lip, trying to suppress a smile. This man was too much for your tiny heart. "So what you're saying is, you like it when I have the upper hand?"
Jungkook’s a competitive guy, but you’re a different case. "Only when it's you," he replied without missing a beat. The sincerity in his voice made your heart flutter. "But don't think I'm going to let you have it all the time. I have my ways of keeping up."
You couldn't help but laugh at that. "Is that so? And how do you plan on doing that?" He grinned, setting his cup down and reaching out to tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear. The gesture was tender, sending a shiver down your spine. "Oh, I have my ways. But you'll just have to wait and see."
You raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Is that a challenge, Jungkook?" You saw his eyes sparkled with excitement. "Only if you're up for it, baby. You know I love a good challenge.”
"You're on," you replied, your voice filled with determination.
The night was quiet, save for the occasional sounds of the kettle clicking off or the gentle hum of the refrigerator. Outside, the world was still, wrapped in the serenity that comes with the late hours of the night. Inside, however, the air between you and Jungkook was electric, charged with a playful energy that neither of you could resist.
As the minutes ticked by, you found yourself leaning more into the conversation, your words flowing easily as you teased and bantered with him. He matched you word for word, never backing down, always ready with a witty retort or a flirty comment that made your heart race.
At one point, your lover leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at you with a satisfied smile. "I think I'm winning," he declared, his tone smug. You rolled your eyes, but couldn't hide your smile. "You wish. I'm just getting started."
He laughed, the sound deep and rich, filling the space with warmth. Ohh how you love that sound with everything you have. "That's what I love about you, ____. You're always ready for more."
His little comment got you paused for a moment, your smile softening. Jungkook saw the small action and every time you smiled his love meter rises - and boy-oh-boy the bar is stretching across the galaxy. "And what else do you love about me?" you asked, your voice quiet, almost hesitant.
Jungkook met your gaze, his expression serious now. "Everything," he said simply. "Your strength, your kindness, your ability to keep me on my toes. The way you make me laugh, the way you challenge me. I love all of it. I don’t think I’ll be able to function - even live properly without you, ____. Your whole existence… I need that. I would tell you millions of reasons on why I love you, but then I would have to write a whole novel."
His words took you by surprise, and for a moment, you were speechless. It wasn’t rare for Jungkook to tell you how much he loves you, but it was certainly rare for him to say such deep feelings like that - you hadn't expected him to be so open, so honest. But then again, that was Jungkook. He always had a way of surprising you, of showing you sides of himself that you hadn't seen much before.
You reached out, placing your hand on his warm soft cheek. "I love you too," you whispered, the words slipping out before you could stop them. His eyes softened, and he nuzzled his face more against your hand. "I know," he replied, his voice filled with warmth and affection.
The moment was intimate, filled with a quiet understanding that didn't need words. It was in these moments that you realized just how deep your connection with Jungkook was. It wasn't just about the teasing or the playful banter. It was about the love that had grown between you, the bond that had strengthened over time.
He placed his hand on top of yours and squeezed it gently, his thumb brushing over your knuckles. "Come on," he said after a while, his voice soft. "Let's finish our drinks and get to bed. I wanna lay down and touch some boobs.”
You playfully grabbed some of his hair pulling it while trying to display an annoyed expression. In the midst of you doing that, Jungkook wanted to push your button a bit more… so he moaned.
“Babe!” You yelled out. You clasped your hand on his mouth trying to shut him up, but it just made him moan even louder. Jungkook was having so much fun, to the point where he even produce tears from all the laughing.
After that small fiasco, everything dialed down. Jungkook stood up and offered you his hand, but you didn’t want to accept it because of how much he pissed you off, “Stop being stubborn and take my damn hand, babe.” Jungkook groaned out. “No.” You simply said.
Jungkook yet again threw you over his shoulder just like last time. While walking his way to your guy’s room, you had your face down, keeping a close eye on your boyfriend’s lovely plump ass.
Once in the bedroom, Jungkook let go of you to pull back the covers, a smile playing on his lips as he watched you climb into bed. He quickly took off his clothes - just leaving him in his boxers and slid in beside you. He pulled the blanket over the both of you, his arm instinctively wrapping around your waist as your back perfectly rested along his front.
You felt a movement towards your chest; it was slow and steady. Just a second later you felt a rough hand softly grope one of your boobs. You quietly sighed, “This is all you’re doing. Better not have any other ideas, babe.” Jungkook gave a hum as a response and pulled you even closer.
The room was dark, save for the soft glow of the moonlight filtering through the curtains. You could hear the steady rhythm of his breathing, the warmth of his body pressing against yours. It was in moments like these that you felt the most connected to him, as if the world outside didn't matter as long as you were together.
Jungkook shifted slightly, his hand running up and down your smooth tummy in slow, soothing strokes. Everything was feeling and going so good, until your idiot boyfriend ruined the moment.
“Can we fuck?”
“Shut the hell up and sleep.”
Everything was silent. Few seconds later you both giggled like kids having their first sleepover. You turned around and gave your love a kiss. Jungkook wanted to kiss you longer but he knew to respect your boundaries.
“Fuck… you get me too excited.”
“Hashtag ‘lol’”
Jungkook felt like crying at your stupid comment but the tiredness was catching up to him. “Alrighty then, babe, we have a big day later so let’s sleep now.”
“Okey dokey.”
“I love you, ____.”
“I love you, Jungkook.”
As you drifted off to sleep, you couldn't help but feel a deep sense of contentment. The night had been perfect, filled with laughter, love, and the kind of quiet moments that you cherished. And as you lay there, wrapped up in his arms, you knew that there was nowhere else you'd rather be.

YOU SAT CURLED UP ON THE COUCH, your phone resting comfortably in your hands, its soft glow reflecting off your smiling face. You could feel your cheeks warming as a small giggle escaped your lips, your heart fluttering as you stared down at the message thread from him. Even after two years of dating online, Heeseung still had this inexplicable effect on you—his words always managing to stir that giddy feeling in your chest. You tapped out a reply quickly, the excitement of the conversation making your fingers fly over the screen.
Just as you hit send, the sound of footsteps echoed through the room, interrupting your blissful bubble. You quickly locked your phone and dropped it onto your lap, trying to appear casual, but you already knew it was too late.
“Still texting your hubby?” Semi’s voice called out from across the room, her teasing tone unmistakable. You glanced up just in time to see her strolling over with a mischievous grin, arms swinging at her sides. She plopped down next to you on the couch without hesitation, grabbing one of the throw pillows and hugging it close to her chest. The way she eyed you was almost predatory—she had caught you red-handed, and she knew it.
Before you could even muster a response, Heesoo appeared right behind her, leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed, eyes gleaming with equal amusement. “Hubby, huh?” she chimed in, her voice smooth and knowing, as if the two had conspired together. She tilted her head, her brow quirking up as she let the word roll off her tongue like it was some sort of inside joke.
You could feel your face heat up instantly, a mix of embarrassment and irritation bubbling up in your chest as they watched you squirm. “He’s not my hubby,” you muttered, trying and failing to sound nonchalant, as if their teasing wasn’t getting to you. You fumbled to close your phone, clutching it tightly in your hands as if it could shield you from the embarrassment. The more you tried to act casual, the more you felt your nerves betray you—your fingers gripping the phone a little too tightly, your posture too stiff.
Semi shot you a side glance, raising her brows as if she didn’t believe a single word you just said. “Uh-huh, sure,” she drawled, her voice dripping with mock disbelief. Her lips quirked up into a sly smile as she nudged your arm, causing you to shift uncomfortably on the couch.
“Soon-to-be, then,” Heesoo added with a smirk, her voice dripping with playful confidence as she sauntered over. She stood in front of you now, hands resting casually on her hips, eyes narrowed like she was about to spill a secret you hadn’t even realized you were keeping.
You rolled your eyes, trying to ignore the way your heart skipped a beat at the suggestion. “Oh, shut up,” you mumbled under your breath, sinking deeper into the cushions as if that could somehow protect you from their relentless teasing. Your words might have sounded dismissive, but the way your lips twitched at the corners betrayed the smile you were holding back.
They weren’t wrong, after all. You had been dating Heeseung for two years now—two years of late-night texts, playful banter, and heart-fluttering moments that made you feel like a teenager all over again. And yet, as much as you adored him, there was still that small detail you couldn’t ignore: you hadn’t met him in person yet. You had never even seen a clear picture of him, not beyond a couple of blurry selfies he’d sent over the years. Sure, they looked good—he looked good—but there was always that tiny, nagging thought in the back of your mind.
“Look at her,” Semi cooed, turning her head towards Heesoo as if to share the victory of seeing you squirm. “She’s blushing.”
You scoffed, running a hand over your face to hide the growing warmth in your cheeks. “I am not,” you protested, knowing full well that you were. The way they both stared at you, amused and smug, only made it worse.
Heesoo, always the bold one, plopped herself on the coffee table directly in front of you, folding her legs beneath her as she leaned forward with that signature teasing smirk. “What’s it gonna take for you to finally meet him, huh?” she asked, voice light but laced with curiosity. “You’ve been together for two years now. Doesn’t it feel like it’s time?”
You shifted in your seat, feeling their gazes burn into you as you struggled to come up with a decent excuse. “I mean, we’ve talked about it…” you started, your voice trailing off as you tried to sound convincing. Truth be told, the idea of meeting him did excite you, but it also made your stomach twist with nerves. What if he wasn’t what you expected? What if he didn’t like you in person? Those doubts, however small, had kept you from pushing the issue.
“Oh, please,” Semi cut in with a roll of her eyes, reaching over to lightly shove your shoulder. “If you’re nervous about it, just admit it. We all know you’re totally whipped for him.”
You sighed, letting your head fall back against the couch as you stared up at the ceiling, their laughter filling the room. “Fine,” you groaned, giving in to their teasing. “Maybe I’m a little nervous, okay?”
“A little?” Semi echoed, her tone full of playful disbelief. “Girl, you’re terrified.”
Heesoo grinned, standing up and stretching her arms over her head. “Don’t worry,” she said, her voice softening just a little, “When you two finally meet, it’s gonna be perfect. And when it happens, we better be the first ones to know, got it?”
You smiled, your heart warming at their relentless support, even if it was wrapped in teasing. “Yeah, yeah, you’ll be the first to know.”
Semi’s gaze was sharp, fixated on you as if she was about to make the most important suggestion of the century. Her brow arched, curiosity and a hint of determination flashing in her eyes. “By the way,” she began, her voice deceptively casual but filled with the weight of her endless curiosity, “why don’t you just ask him to meet up already?”
She leaned forward, elbows resting on her knees, chin propped up by her hands, fully expecting a detailed answer. Semi wasn’t just invested in your relationship with Heeseung—no, she was very, very, very invested. In fact, ever since you mentioned Heeseung, she’d turned into your personal dating detective, always nudging you with questions and advice as if it were her own love life on the line.
You let out a small laugh, nervously shifting under her scrutiny. “Yeah… I mean, I’ve thought about it,” you mumbled, eyes darting down to your phone, the little weight of doubt creeping up on you.
Heesoo, who had been lazily sprawled out on the opposite couch, suddenly let out a loud, exaggerated sigh, her hand dramatically flopping onto her forehead like a character straight out of a soap opera. “Exactly,” she muttered, rolling her eyes for extra effect. “You're not even part of the #hatemenclub anymore, so why not?” Her voice dripped with playful sarcasm, and she shot you a sideways glance, clearly enjoying every second of her role in this drama.
The #hatemenclub. A relic from your high school days—the sacred pact you three made to never, ever fall into the trap of romance. It had been a joking sort of vow, born out of teenage cynicism and a few too many bad rom-coms. And yet, somehow, it stuck. Or at least, it stuck for them.
You, however, had found a loophole: Heeseung. The moment you told them about him, they had teased you endlessly, threatening to kick you out of the “club,” but that day never came. It became more of a running joke now, how you were the only one who had managed to “break the rules” without suffering the consequences.
“I’m still in the club, though,” you tried to defend, your voice soft as you fidgeted with the edge of the blanket draped over your lap. “If we, uh, exclude Heeseung, I mean.”
Semi let out a loud snort, barely managing to stifle her laughter as she nudged you with her elbow. “Yeah, okay, if we exclude Heeseung,” she mimicked, raising her hands in air quotes before leaning back with a knowing smirk. “You’re so still in the club.”
Heesoo rolled her eyes again, this time in a way that felt almost second nature to her. She sat up straighter, her long hair falling over her shoulder as she gave you the most unimpressed look. “Oh, c’mon,” she said, her voice laced with mock exasperation. “You can’t possibly still think you’re in the #hatemenclub after dating a guy for two years.”
You sighed, feeling the heat rise in your cheeks as the two of them continued their relentless teasing. “I’m serious! I’ll—” you paused, feeling the weight of their teasing eyes on you, “I’ll try. I just… I need to ask him first.”
There was a nervous edge to your voice, and you knew they both picked up on it instantly. Your fingers twirled the fabric of your blanket between them, your mind racing with the thought of actually asking Heeseung to meet. It wasn’t that you didn’t want to meet him—it was that, despite everything, the idea still made your stomach flip in a thousand knots.
Meeting him felt like the culmination of two years of virtual feelings—two years of inside jokes, late-night conversations, and building something you couldn’t quite explain. What if reality didn’t match the fantasy?
Semi’s eyes softened for a moment as she watched your nervous fidgeting, though her playful smirk never fully disappeared. “You’ve got this,” she said, her tone light but encouraging, as if this was some grand mission you had to complete. “Just ask him! What’s the worst that could happen?”
You glanced up at her, catching the sparkle of sincerity hidden beneath her teasing. It was rare for Semi to offer advice without an accompanying joke, and you appreciated it more than you’d ever admit out loud.
Heesoo, meanwhile, wasn’t about to let up that easily. She scooted closer, leaning forward with her elbows resting on her knees, her face now mere inches from yours. “Exactly,” she added, her eyes glimmering with amusement. “And when he says yes—and we all know he will—we get to hear all the juicy details first. Don’t even think about hiding anything.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at that, shaking your head as you playfully shoved her away. “I’m not hiding anything!” you protested, your voice coming out more defensively than you intended.
“Mm-hmm,” Heesoo hummed, raising an eyebrow as if to say she didn’t quite believe you. “We’ll see about that.”
The banter continued, filling the room with laughter and lighthearted teasing as you tried, and failed, to convince them you were still a proud member of the #hatemenclub. But deep down, as you glanced at your phone and reread Heeseung’s latest message, the butterflies stirred again. Maybe it was time to take that next step. Maybe… just maybe, they were right.
For now, you could enjoy the moment—surrounded by the warmth of your best friends and the soft glow of your phone, where Heeseung’s name sat waiting.
THE DAY HAD FINALLY COME, and your heart was racing with a mixture of excitement and nervous energy. You had spent hours preparing, trying to make sure you looked as pretty as possible. Not too much makeup, but just enough to give you a soft, girly look. Your outfit was carefully chosen, a delicate dress that gave off casual yet charming vibes. You didn’t want to overwhelm him, but you also didn’t want to underwhelm, either.
As you approached the small restaurant you had both agreed on, you paused outside the door for a moment, taking a deep breath. The place was cozy, not too fancy, which was perfect since you didn’t want to feel out of place. The fact that it wasn’t crowded was a relief, too—no need for unnecessary pressure.
You opened your phone, fingers shaking slightly as you typed out the message, “Baby, I arrived. Where are you?”
Not even a minute later, the reply popped up on your screen, and you smiled. He’s here.
“I’m wearing a blue shirt, it’s the seat in the corner.”
Your heart did a little flip as you looked around the restaurant, scanning for that blue shirt. And then you saw him, sitting by himself in the far corner of the room, casually leaning back in his chair, glancing at his phone. Excitement bubbled up inside you as you approached, trying to calm the butterflies swirling in your stomach. But something felt off as you got closer. His face—it didn’t quite match the picture.
Sure, the picture he sent had been blurry, but this guy… he looked different. More handsome, yes, but different. You hesitated, standing awkwardly near the table for a second, your mind spinning with doubts. Was this really him?
“Umm... you’re Heeseung, right?” you asked, your voice sounding more timid than you’d hoped. You didn’t want to jump to conclusions, but the feeling gnawed at you.
The guy glanced up from his phone, a small smile playing on his lips. “Yeah, you must be Y/N,” he said, his voice smooth and confident. There was no hint of hesitation in his tone, as if he hadn’t noticed your uncertainty at all.
You felt a small pit of confusion in your stomach. The voice matched. The name matched. But his face... why did he look so different from what you imagined? You couldn’t help but wonder if you’d been catfished—by a ridiculously handsome guy, no less. It didn’t make sense, but the thought was there, lurking in the back of your mind.
You opened your mouth to ask about the photo, to try and figure out the discrepancy, but he cut you off before you could even get the words out. “Can we order first?” he asked, leaning forward slightly, his eyes flickering toward the menu on the table.
You blinked, thrown off by his sudden shift in conversation. “Uhh… sure,” you muttered, feeling slightly deflated. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world to put the awkwardness on hold, but the unease in your chest lingered. He hadn’t even addressed the fact that he looked so different from the picture. Why was he avoiding it?
You glanced down at the menu, but your mind wasn’t really on food. Instead, your eyes kept flickering back to him. His messy hair, styled just enough to look effortlessly good, caught your attention. His features were sharp, his jawline defined. He had this boyish charm about him that made you want to melt right there in the chair.
He’s so much more handsome in person, you thought to yourself, almost feeling embarrassed at the realization. But that made everything more confusing. Why wouldn’t he just send a proper picture? It didn’t add up.
Heeseung glanced up from his own menu, catching your gaze, and you quickly looked away, feeling a flush of heat rush to your cheeks. It was like being thrown back into the early days of your online relationship, back when every text from him made your heart race. Except now, you were sitting across from him, and it felt… real.
Too real.
But the unease was still there. You fiddled with the edge of the napkin in your lap, trying to figure out how to ask the question without sounding paranoid. Your mind raced through a dozen different possibilities. Old photo? Bad camera quality?
“So... about that picture you sent,” you finally managed to say, your voice soft, testing the waters. You lifted your gaze to meet his again, trying to keep your expression neutral.
Heeseung looked at you for a moment, his eyes studying your face, but before you could get any further, he leaned back in his chair with a casual smile. “Yeah, I know, the picture wasn’t the best,” he admitted, running a hand through his hair in that effortless way guys always do. “I’m not great with selfies.”
The way he said it made you pause. He didn’t seem fazed at all by your question, almost as if he expected it. His easygoing demeanor threw you off, and for a moment, you felt silly for even doubting him. Maybe you were overthinking it.
“Ahh,” you nodded slowly, trying to hide the relief creeping in. “I guess that makes sense.”
He gave you a smile, and suddenly, the awkwardness started to melt away. It wasn’t perfect, not yet, but the butterflies in your stomach shifted from nervous to something lighter. You glanced down at the menu again, pretending to be interested in the food, but your mind was still buzzing with thoughts of him—this real, handsome Heeseung sitting in front of you.
As the waiter approached to take your orders, you couldn’t help but sneak another glance at him. His hair, the way it fell just slightly over his forehead, his relaxed posture, the way his fingers tapped idly against the table. You felt a tiny smile tug at your lips. Maybe it wasn’t exactly how you imagined it, but something about this moment—awkward and all—felt right.
And the butterflies? Well, they were still there. But now, they were dancing a little differently.
As you stared down at the menu, the words began to blur together. The pressure of the moment was getting to you, and suddenly, nothing made sense. You hadn’t expected to freeze like this—after all, how hard could it be to choose something off a menu? But the truth was, this was your first time at the restaurant, and the foreign names of the dishes only added to your mounting anxiety.
You could feel the heat rising to your cheeks as the waiter approached your table, notepad in hand. Your heart began to race, and the butterflies, which had been fluttering harmlessly before, now felt like a storm of nerves. What if I order the wrong thing? What if he thinks I’m weird?
Just as you were about to blurt out something—anything—your panic was cut short by the gentle sensation of a hand grasping yours. You blinked in surprise, eyes widening as you looked up from the menu to see Heeseung’s hand resting over yours on the table, his fingers curling lightly around yours. The warmth of his touch sent a calming wave through you, as if he could feel your nervousness and knew exactly how to soothe it.
“Hey, it’s okay,” he said softly, his voice steady and reassuring. His thumb brushed over the back of your hand in the most subtle, comforting way. You couldn’t help but feel your pulse slow down just a little, the chaos inside you quieting as he gave you a small, understanding smile. It was the kind of smile that said, I’ve got you.
He let out a soft sigh, as if he knew this was overwhelming for you, and then, without skipping a beat, he turned to the waiter. “We’ll have the grilled salmon for her,” he said confidently, his tone polite but decisive. “And I’ll take the steak, medium rare, please.”
The way he ordered without hesitation, without even needing to ask what you wanted, left you absolutely stunned. You couldn’t help but stare at him for a second, your mind racing to catch up. It took a moment for it to sink in—he had remembered. He had remembered what you liked, something you had mentioned casually during one of your countless late-night conversations online. Something so small, so fleeting, and yet, here he was, recalling it with such ease as if it had always been on his mind.
As the waiter walked away, you were left speechless, the butterflies in your stomach doing somersaults now for an entirely different reason. You hadn’t just lucked out with a handsome guy—you had hit the jackpot.
Sitting across from you was the same Heeseung you’d spent the last two years talking to, laughing with, dreaming about. Only now, he was real, and somehow, better than you had imagined. The boy you’d only known through texts and blurry pictures was suddenly flesh and blood, and he was everything—handsome, cute, charming, thoughtful—and all yours.
“Did you really just… remember that?” you asked softly, still a bit in awe, your hand still tingling from his touch. You tried to hide the smile tugging at the corners of your lips, but it was impossible. The butterflies had taken over now, and all you could feel was that giddy, almost dizzying sense of affection.
Heeseung leaned back in his chair, shrugging slightly but with a teasing glint in his eyes. “Of course. It’s not like you ever shut up about how much you love salmon,” he teased, his voice light and playful. He smirked a little, clearly enjoying the fact that he’d surprised you.
You felt a laugh bubble up from your chest, shaking your head at how effortlessly he put you at ease. “Well… maybe I mentioned it once or twice,” you admitted, a playful edge creeping into your voice.
His eyes met yours, and for a moment, the world outside of your little bubble seemed to disappear. The way he was looking at you—like he had been waiting for this moment just as much as you had—made your heart race all over again. It was as if everything you had built over the last two years was now culminating in this one perfect evening.
Before you could lose yourself entirely in the moment, the waiter reappeared, placing your plates down in front of you. The delicious aroma of the food filled the air, but your attention was still on Heeseung. Even as the waiter left, you barely glanced at your food, too caught up in the way he smiled at you across the table.
He picked up his fork, but before he dug into his steak, he gave you a knowing look. “You’re still staring at me,” he pointed out with a chuckle, his voice dripping with that teasing affection that made your heart skip a beat.
You blinked, flustered, quickly picking up your own fork to hide the fact that, yes, you had been completely lost in thought. “I’m not staring!” you protested, though the blush on your cheeks probably gave you away. You poked at your salmon, trying to focus, but your thoughts were still a mess of emotions—excitement, disbelief, and that growing sense of affection that felt even stronger now that he was here, in front of you.
Heeseung laughed softly, shaking his head. “Sure, sure,” he said, clearly not believing you. “But, you know, I kind of like it.” He shot you a wink, and just like that, the butterflies were back in full force, making your heart do flips all over again.
THE DOOR TO YOUR SHARED ROOM HADN'T EVEN FULLY CLOSED BEHIND YOU WHEN, Semi popped out from behind her desk like a rabbit springing from its burrow. Her eyes were wide with excitement, her whole body practically vibrating with curiosity. You should’ve expected it—Semi was never one to wait for gossip, especially when it concerned something as juicy as your first offline date with Heeseung.
“So, so, so—how did it go?” she asked, her voice pitched high with enthusiasm as she bounced on her toes. It was like she’d been holding in all her questions for hours, just waiting for you to walk through that door. You hadn’t even had a chance to put your bag down before she was in front of you, blocking your path, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
With a sigh, you dropped onto your bed, letting the soft mattress swallow you up for a second. “We talked and ate,” you muttered, trying to play it cool. The truth was, the date had left your heart in shambles, but you weren’t ready to share every detail just yet. You needed a moment to process it all, to figure out how you felt now that the boy you’d been dating for two years online had finally become more than just a name on your phone.
Semi, however, wasn’t about to let you off that easily. She let out an exaggerated scoff, folding her arms over her chest as she stared down at you, her brows raised in disbelief. “Only that? No kisses? No hugs? Nothing?” Her tone was mockingly disappointed, and she threw her hands up in the air as if you had committed the gravest sin by not locking lips with him. “I expected more from you, Y/N!”
You rolled your eyes, trying to suppress the smile tugging at the corners of your lips. “It was our first time meeting offline,” you said, your voice defensive as you sat up slightly, propping yourself up on your elbows. “Give me a break. We needed to, you know, talk like normal people first.”
But Semi wasn’t buying it. She huffed, plopping down beside you on the bed with a dramatic sigh. “Yeah, but you’ve literally been dating for two years,” she stressed, leaning in closer with that signature mischievous grin of hers. “You’d think you two would’ve been all over each other by now!”
You felt your cheeks grow warm at her words. She wasn’t exactly wrong, but still—it was overwhelming enough to finally see Heeseung in person, to hear his voice without the filter of a screen between you. The thought of doing anything more intimate, in public no less, felt like it would’ve sent your nervous system into a complete shutdown.
“Heeseung's not… he’s not like that,” you muttered, brushing a hand through your hair as you tried to deflect. But Semi, ever persistent, was already on to her next question.
“So, was he cute though?” she asked, wiggling her eyebrows with a teasing smile. Her eyes gleamed with mischief as she poked your arm, clearly enjoying how flustered you were becoming. She knew you too well—knew exactly how to get under your skin.
You cleared your throat, trying to muster up a calm, composed response. “He looked…” You trailed off, unsure of how to put into words just how ridiculously handsome he had been. The way his messy hair framed his face, the effortless confidence in the way he carried himself, the warmth in his eyes that had made your heart race all over again—it was almost too much to describe.
But before you could finish, Semi leaned in even closer, practically vibrating with excitement. “He looked what?” she teased, her voice dragging out the question. “Handsome? Gorgeous? Like a total heartthrob?”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “Okay, fine!” you finally relented, your voice muffled through your palms. “He’s really handsome, okay? Like… ridiculously handsome. But—” You lifted your head to glare playfully at her. “Don’t make me sound like I’m simping for him.”
Semi let out a loud, satisfied laugh, clapping her hands together as if she had won some unspoken game. “Oh my God,” she giggled, leaning back onto her elbows with a grin so wide it practically lit up the room. “You totally are simping for him! Admit it, Y/N!”
You felt a flood of butterflies at her words. Maybe she was right. Maybe you were simping a little. But could you really blame yourself? You’d spent two years falling for Heeseung’s charm through a screen, and now that you’d finally met him in person, it felt like all of those feelings were amplified tenfold.
Still, you weren’t about to let Semi get the last word. With a playful roll of your eyes, you grabbed one of your pillows and lightly swatted her with it. “Alright, alright, enough!” you said, trying to suppress your own laughter. “Yes, he’s cute. Yes, I like him. Happy now?”
Semi dodged the pillow with a laugh, her eyes twinkling as she stood up from the bed and made her way back to her desk. “Oh, I’m more than happy,” she said, smirking as she glanced over her shoulder at you. “But the real question is—when are you gonna kiss him?”
Your eyes widened, and you immediately threw the pillow at her again, missing by a mile. “Semi!”
She cackled, her laughter filling the room as you both dissolved into fits of giggles. And even as you buried your face in your hands again, cheeks burning with embarrassment, you couldn’t help but feel a little lighter, a little more excited about what was to come.
But then, your phone buzzed in your hand. The screen lit up with Heeseung’s name, and immediately, a surge of excitement and nervousness hit you like a wave. Your heart skipped a beat, but then you froze. Semi was still there, and you knew her well enough to know that she would pounce on any opportunity to tease you mercilessly if she saw Heeseung’s name on your phone.
You glanced at her, quickly assessing your options. The playful glint in her eyes already hinted that she was curious. There was no way you'd have a peaceful conversation with him if she was around.
With a sigh, you shot her a glance. “I’ll go take this call,” you said, casually waving your phone as if it were nothing. “It must be a job offer.”
The lie came out so smoothly that even you were shocked by how easily it slipped off your tongue. Semi didn’t question it either, though she narrowed her eyes suspiciously for a second before shrugging and turning her attention back to her phone.
Relieved, you swiftly exited the room, pulling the door behind you as quietly as possible to ensure she wouldn’t follow. Once out of the room, you made your way down the hallway, trying to find a quiet spot where you could talk to him in peace. With one last look over your shoulder to confirm you weren’t being spied on, you finally pressed the phone to your ear.
“H-hello?” you stammered slightly, your voice a bit softer than usual. The weight of knowing what he looked like in person now—it made this whole conversation feel different, heavier, in a way that made your heart race.
“Hey,” Heeseung’s familiar voice greeted you from the other end, and the sound immediately sent a rush of warmth through your chest. “You home?”
You hesitated for a second, quickly glancing around to make sure no one was eavesdropping. “J-just reached,” you finally responded, trying to keep your voice steady, though the nervousness crept into your tone. Now that you knew what he looked like—his real face, the way his smile tugged at the corners of his lips—it was harder to keep your composure.
There was a brief pause on the other end. “What about you?” you asked, attempting to regain some control over your fluttering heart.
“I reached too,” he said simply, though the awkwardness in his voice was undeniable. It wasn’t the same as it had been before you’d met him. Something had shifted. Maybe this was how online couples felt after meeting for the first time—unsure of how to navigate the new dynamic, the new reality of knowing the person behind the screen in a way you hadn’t before.
You leaned against the cool wall in the hallway, running a hand through your hair as you tried to figure out what to say next. The silence that followed was thick with unspoken questions—Did you have fun? Did I make a good impression? Will we meet again? But none of those questions made it past your lips.
Instead, you both lingered in the silence, the awkwardness palpable but not entirely uncomfortable. It was almost endearing in a way, knowing that you both felt the same jittery nerves after your first offline date.
“So, um… are we gonna keep doing this?” you finally asked, your voice quiet, but the question was bold enough to fill the space between you. “Meeting up offline, I mean?”
You could almost hear the smile in his voice when he responded. “I hope so,” he said, his tone soft but filled with sincerity. “I liked seeing you in person.”
Your heart fluttered at his words, and you smiled to yourself, feeling the butterflies you thought had calmed down stir up again. The simple statement carried so much more weight now that you had shared a meal together, exchanged shy glances, and actually existed in the same space, side by side.
“Me too,” you whispered, almost as if admitting it out loud would somehow make the moment more real. And in that moment, as awkward as it was, you couldn’t help but feel that this was the start of something new—something that stretched beyond the screen, into the real world where you both could truly be together.
The silence returned, but this time, it was softer, more comfortable, as if the awkwardness had melted away, leaving behind a warmth that lingered long after the call would end.
“I guess… I’ll talk to you later?” you said after a beat, your voice lighter now, a smile tugging at your lips.
“Yeah,” he replied. “But not too much later, okay?”
You laughed softly, feeling the last bit of tension slip away. “Not too much later,” you promised, before finally hanging up, the warmth of his voice still lingering in your chest as you walked back to your room.
The moment you stepped back into the room, Semi was there, perched on her bed, looking like she had been waiting for this exact moment. Her arms were crossed, and that mischievous grin was unmistakable—she wasn’t buying your ‘job offer’ story for a second.
“So…” she dragged the word out, her eyes narrowing playfully as you tried your best to keep a straight face. “Was that really a job offer?”
You sighed, feeling the heat rush to your cheeks as you tried to avoid eye contact. "Yeah, sure, let's call it that," you muttered, slipping your phone into your pocket as you moved towards your bed, hoping she'd let it go. But you knew better—Semi was never one to back off when there was potential for gossip, especially when it involved your love life.
She let out a dramatic scoff. “Come on, you can’t fool me. You were talking to Heeseung, weren’t you?” She jumped up from her bed, practically bouncing over to you, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. “Tell me everything—what did he say? Did he ask to meet up again? Were you blushing the entire time like you are now?”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands as you felt the heat in your cheeks deepen. “It wasn’t anything special, okay?” you mumbled through your hands, though you knew your attempt to downplay the call wouldn’t work. “We just… talked about getting home, that’s all.”
Semi was relentless, of course. “Uh-huh, sure,” she teased, pulling your hands away from your face so she could get a proper look at you. “You’re totally hiding something. I can see it! You’ve got that weird ‘I just talked to my crush’ glow. Did he say something cute? Oh my god, he did, didn’t he?”
You couldn’t help but laugh at how easily she read you, and finally, you gave in, sitting down on your bed with a defeated sigh. “Fine, fine. He was sweet, okay? It was just a normal conversation, but it felt… I don’t know. Different now, I guess?”
Semi raised an eyebrow, sitting beside you with her full attention. “Different how?” she asked, her voice softer now, less teasing and more curious.
“Well,” you began, thinking back to the way Heeseung’s voice had sounded over the phone, a mix of awkwardness and warmth. “It’s just… after seeing him in person, everything feels a little more real, you know? Like, all this time we’ve been talking online, but now it’s not just a screen between us anymore. I’ve actually met him, and it’s… weird but in a good way?”
Semi grinned. “So, you’re saying you’re falling even harder for him now, huh?”
You rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t hide the smile tugging at your lips. “I mean, he’s really cute in person,” you admitted, your heart fluttering just at the thought of how Heeseung had looked when you met. “And he remembered what I liked to eat, which was unexpected and kind of… sweet.”
Semi gasped dramatically, clutching her chest as if she were swooning. “He remembered your favorite food? Oh, girl, you’ve hit the jackpot!” She nudged you playfully, her excitement infectious. “What’s next, huh? When’s your next date? Are we already planning the wedding?”
You laughed, shoving her lightly. “Calm down! We haven’t even planned a second date yet.”
“But you will,” she said, her grin widening as if she were already planning everything out in her head. “I mean, how could you not? You’ve been talking to this guy for two years, and now that you’ve met in person, the sparks are basically flying!”
You blushed again, but this time, it wasn’t just because of the teasing. Semi wasn’t wrong. Something had shifted, and the idea of seeing Heeseung again now that you’d met face-to-face made your heart race in the best way possible.
“Well, I don’t know,” you said softly, feeling a bit shy as you thought about it. “I guess we’ll see what happens. But yeah… I think I’d like to see him again.”
Semi squealed, throwing her arms around you in a sudden hug. “Yay! I’m so happy for you! My best friend is getting married!”
“Stop!” you protested, laughing as you wriggled out of her embrace. “Not yet, anyway.”
“Not yet,” she echoed, wagging her eyebrows at you. “But soon, I bet.”
YOU STOOD AT THE ENTRANCE OF HEESEUNG'S APARTMENT, clutching the bouquet of flowers nervously. Your heart was hammering in your chest, and a million thoughts rushed through your head. Was this really a good idea? Going to a guy’s place you had only met offline once? What if he turned out to be… well, something out of a true crime story? Your mind raced with irrational fears, imagining worst-case scenarios, but then you shook your head.
No, it’s Heeseung, you reminded yourself. The same guy you’d been talking to for two years. The guy who remembered your favorite food and texted you goodnight religiously. You weren’t going to let a silly rush of nerves ruin this. Besides, wasn’t this the next step? Taking things from the screen to real life?
Taking a deep breath, you pressed the button for his apartment number. A small buzz rang through, followed by a few agonizing moments of silence until you heard footsteps approaching from the other side. When the door finally swung open, you were greeted with the sight of Heeseung, looking as relaxed as ever. He was dressed in a simple black t-shirt and shorts, the definition of casual, but somehow he still looked like he had stepped straight out of a magazine photoshoot.
You blinked for a second, momentarily stunned. When did you become such a simp?
“Come in, please,” Heeseung’s voice broke through your thoughts. His smile was warm and welcoming, and before you could even process what was happening, he was taking the bouquet from your hands.
“Crap—wait, I mean—this is for you!” you stammered, awkwardly snatching the flowers back only to hand them to him again. The exchange was so clumsy that you both burst into laughter, the tension easing ever so slightly.
"You really didn’t have to," he said softly, holding the flowers as if they were the most precious thing in the world.
“I did have to,” you insisted, your voice sheepish. “It’s my first time here. Showing up empty-handed just felt… wrong.”
Heeseung chuckled at your seriousness, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he leaned down and pinched your cheeks lightly. “You sound just like you do online,” he teased, flashing that signature smile that made your heart race.
“Hey, quit it,” you protested weakly, swatting his hand away, but the blush creeping up your neck betrayed you. You were still getting used to seeing him in person, but that didn’t stop the familiar warmth from spreading through your chest at his touch.
The two of you stood there, just outside his apartment, for what felt like longer than necessary. It wasn’t until Heeseung cleared his throat that you realized you were still blocking the doorway.
“Right, shoes off,” you mumbled to yourself, quickly stepping out of your sneakers as you followed him inside. His apartment was small but cozy, with a lived-in feel that made you instantly relax. You noticed a few potted plants by the window, a couple of books scattered across the coffee table, and a faint scent of something familiar—ramen?—lingering in the air.
You perched yourself on his couch, feeling a little too aware of your movements as you sat down. The cushions were soft, and the space felt intimate. Your eyes darted around the room, trying to focus on anything but your own nerves. From the corner of your eye, you could see Heeseung moving about in the kitchen, preparing something.
After a few minutes, he returned with two steaming bowls of ramen, setting them down on the table in front of you. "Sorry, I didn’t have time to prepare anything fancy,” he apologized, scratching the back of his neck with an awkward smile. “Hope this is okay?”
You couldn’t help but laugh, the tension in your chest unraveling at how normal it all felt. “Are you kidding? This is perfect,” you reassured him, reaching for the chopsticks. “Nothing beats instant ramen, especially when you’re too lazy to cook.”
Heeseung laughed along with you, sitting down next to you on the couch. He was close enough that you could feel the warmth radiating from him, but not so close that it felt overwhelming. It was nice. Comfortable. Almost like the two of you had done this a hundred times before.
He turned on a movie—some romantic comedy you’d both agreed on—and as the opening credits rolled, you found yourself stealing glances at him. The way he absentmindedly blew on his ramen before taking a bite, his brow furrowed in concentration like it was the most important task in the world. He was so focused, so natural, and it made you smile without even realizing it.
But when you dared to look over again, you caught him doing the same—his eyes already on you. The two of you locked eyes for a moment, chopsticks hovering in mid-air, before quickly looking away, your cheeks burning.
You could hear him chuckle softly beside you, and that only made you blush harder. It was awkward, but in the most endearing way. You were both adjusting to this new reality, trying to navigate the uncharted waters of an offline relationship.
The movie played in the background, but neither of you paid much attention to it. The real entertainment was the silent communication happening between the two of you—the subtle glances, the shy smiles, the way your knees brushed against each other accidentally, and how neither of you moved away afterward.
You took another bite of ramen, trying to focus on the noodles instead of the fluttering in your stomach, but it was impossible to ignore how close Heeseung was. Every time he shifted slightly or laughed at something in the movie, your heart skipped a beat.
Halfway through the movie, you found yourself glancing at him again—only this time, you caught him looking at you too. This time, instead of looking away, you both just… stayed like that. His eyes softened, and for a brief moment, the world outside of this small, cozy apartment disappeared.
It was just you and him, sharing an awkward, silly, but undeniably romantic second date in the simplest way possible. You couldn’t remember the last time you’d felt this content, this happy. And as Heeseung’s lips curled into a small smile, you couldn’t help but think that this—this quiet, unspoken connection—was worth every bit of awkwardness.
Maybe this offline thing wasn’t so bad after all.
But then you were proven wrong yet again as a sharp sting of the hot ramen hitting your skin made you gasp as you shot up from your seat, dropping the cup back onto the table. “Ow…” you winced, instinctively pulling at your shirt where the soup had splashed. The yellow-ish broth stained your top instantly, spreading in a not-so-fashionable blotch across your chest. Your heart sank.
Before you could even process the situation, Heeseung had already grabbed a glass of water from the table and, in a flash, poured it over the stained area, dousing you in the process.
You froze, eyes wide in disbelief as the cold water seeped through your shirt. “What… what are you doing?” you squeaked, half laughing, half mortified.
“I—I thought it would help cool it down!" Heeseung stammered, his eyes wide with genuine panic, clearly unsure if he'd done the right thing. “Are you okay? Did it burn you badly?”
You blinked a few times, the absurdity of the situation finally sinking in. The date had gone from mildly awkward to full-blown disaster in a matter of seconds. "I’m fine... just soaked." You looked down at the mess of ramen and water now pooled on the floor and clinging to your ruined shirt. Embarrassment surged through you like a wave.
"I'm so sorry," you mumbled, your voice small as you glanced up at him, your cheeks burning.
Heeseung, however, didn’t seem fazed at all by the chaos. In fact, a soft chuckle escaped his lips as he rubbed the back of his neck, shaking his head. “No, no, don’t be. It’s not your fault. It happens. We’re good.”
You bit your lip, still feeling like a complete klutz. “But... I ruined the date.”
Heeseung stepped closer, gently placing a reassuring hand on your arm. “Hey, it’s just ramen. I’m not mad. Accidents happen. Besides," he added, his lips curling into a playful smile, "it’s kinda memorable, don’t you think?”
You let out a nervous laugh, but the tight knot of embarrassment in your stomach refused to ease. “Yeah, memorable as in me looking like a complete mess.”
His eyes softened as he squeezed your hand. “You don’t look like a mess. But… you should probably change. It must be super uncomfortable.” He winced, eyeing your soaked shirt.
You glanced down at your shirt, the bright orange stain glaring back at you, and let out a resigned sigh. “Yeah… this isn't exactly ideal.”
“Wait here. I’ll grab you something,” Heeseung said before quickly heading toward his bedroom. He disappeared for a moment, rummaging around, and you stood awkwardly, trying not to feel like a complete fool. The entire scene played in your head on repeat. Could this date have gone any worse? First, the awkwardness of meeting offline, now this?
Heeseung returned, holding out a neatly folded oversized t-shirt. “Here, it might be a little big, but it’ll be more comfortable than a wet, ramen-soaked top.”
You hesitated, looking between him and the shirt. It felt weird to wear his clothes, but then again, what choice did you have? You took it from him with a shy smile. “Thanks…”
“Bathroom’s that way,” he gestured toward the hallway, scratching the back of his neck. “Take your time.”
You nodded and walked toward the bathroom, feeling a bit self-conscious as you clutched the t-shirt to your chest. Once inside, you peeled off your wet shirt, the smell of ramen clinging to the fabric. You sighed, staring at yourself in the mirror for a moment. How had you managed to turn such a simple date into a complete disaster?
Pulling Heeseung’s oversized t-shirt over your head, you were surprised at how soft and comfortable it was. It smelled faintly like him—clean and warm, with a hint of cologne. You couldn’t help but feel a little flutter in your chest at the thought of wearing his clothes. It was oddly intimate.
You took a deep breath and opened the bathroom door, stepping out into the living room where Heeseung was waiting. As soon as he saw you, his eyes widened, and a deep blush crept up his neck to his cheeks.
“What? Is it bad?” you asked, feeling your face heat up under his gaze.
Heeseung shook his head quickly, though he seemed a little lost for words. “No, no... you look... you look really cute,” he mumbled, his voice dropping a notch as he rubbed the back of his neck again. The sight of you in his oversized t-shirt had clearly caught him off guard.
You felt your heart skip a beat at his words. “Oh…” was all you managed to say, feeling a mix of embarrassment and something else—something warm that spread from your chest to your cheeks.
“Sorry, I mean, I didn’t expect—uh—anyway, you’re good, right?” Heeseung cleared his throat, quickly changing the subject to save both of you from further awkwardness.
You nodded, tugging at the hem of the t-shirt. “Yeah, this is… way better, thank you.” You paused, biting your lip before adding, “Sorry again for ruining the date.”
Heeseung shook his head, stepping closer to you, his expression soft. “Y/N, you didn’t ruin anything. It’s just ramen, seriously. Besides…” He smiled, his voice growing softer, “I kind of like this. It feels real. I mean, we’ve been talking for two years, but this... this is different. It’s nice.”
Your heart fluttered at his words, and suddenly, the awkwardness of the situation didn’t feel so bad anymore. You met his eyes, feeling a warmth settle between the two of you. Maybe this date wasn’t perfect, but it was real. It was messy, and awkward, and human.
And somehow, that made it feel right.
“Okay,” you said quietly, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Maybe it wasn’t so bad after all.”
Heeseung grinned, his dimple showing as he teased, “Besides, you still owe me another date. One without any ramen casualties.”
You laughed, feeling the tension lift. “Deal. But next time, no ramen.”
“Deal,” he repeated, his eyes twinkling as he glanced at you in his t-shirt. “But you might have to keep that shirt. It looks too good on you.”
Your face flushed again, but this time, the embarrassment was replaced by something softer, something sweeter.
“I should leave,” you muttered, letting out a heavy sigh as the reality of the night settled in.
“Already?” Heeseung asked, a hint of disappointment lacing his voice. The look on his face tugged at your heart, a mix of longing and vulnerability that made it hard to stand your ground.
“It’s getting late,” you said softly, though the truth was that you didn’t want to leave—not yet. The air between you was charged, electric with the unspoken feelings that had been simmering just beneath the surface. You hesitated at the door, your hand resting on the knob, knowing this moment was slipping away.
But just as you were about to step outside, you felt Heeseung’s warm hand gently but firmly grasp your wrist, pulling you back into the cozy space of his apartment. Your back hit the wall softly, and the breath caught in your throat as you looked up at him, surprise etched on your features.
“W-what are you…?” you stammered, your heart racing.
His expression mirrored your own, a blend of nervousness and determination. “Can we—can we kiss before you leave? It’s okay if you refuse, after all, we’ve just…”
His words faded as you nodded, the fluttering of your heart drowning out any hesitation. The tension between you felt palpable, hanging in the air like a fragile bubble ready to burst. He didn’t need another invitation; he was leaning closer, and in an instant, your lips met.
You could feel the warmth radiating from his body, his hand finding its way to the back of your head, cradling you as he kissed you with an intensity that left you breathless. Your fingers instinctively tangled in his hair, the soft strands slipping through your fingers as you leaned into him, surrendering to the moment.
It was everything you had dreamt of—sweet, passionate, and full of an unspoken promise. His lips moved against yours, gentle yet urgent, a blend of longing and affection. The world outside faded away; it was just the two of you, lost in each other.
As he pulled away, a thin line of saliva connected your mouths, a testament to the fervor of your kiss. Your foreheads rested together, both of you gasping for breath, the intensity of the moment still lingering in the air. His arms wrapped securely around you, holding you close as if he were afraid to let go.
“You taste… sweet,” he murmured, his breath warm against your lips.
“But we just ate spicy ramen,” you replied, a soft laugh escaping your lips, mingling with the lightness of the moment.
“True,” he conceded, a teasing smile playing at the corners of his mouth. “But your lips taste sweet.”
“Stop,” you muttered, the heat of embarrassment flooding your cheeks. You couldn’t help but bury your face in your hands, shyly hiding from his gaze. The reality of what had just happened washed over you, mixing exhilaration with a wave of shyness that made your heart race all over again.
Heeseung chuckled softly, clearly amused by your reaction. “Hey, hey, look at me,” he urged gently, reaching out to pull your hands away from your face. His fingers brushed against your skin, a tender caress that sent shivers down your spine. “You okay?”
You nodded, a shy smile peeking through your hands as you met his eyes, the warmth of his gaze melting away your insecurities. “Yeah, just… that was unexpected.”
“Unexpected, but good, right?” Heeseung said, his voice low and sincere, a small grin lighting up his face. “Because I was definitely expecting it to be the highlight of my night.”
Your heart swelled at his words, the sweetness of the moment flooding your senses. “Yeah, definitely a highlight,” you echoed softly, and the sincerity in your voice made him smile even wider.
“Then how about a second round? Before you leave?” Heeseung teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
You laughed, playfully rolling your eyes. “You’re incorrigible, you know that?”
“Just making sure we make the most of the time we have,” he replied with a cheeky grin.
THE DAY YOU KNEW WAS COMING HAD FINALLY ARRIVED — Heeseung was about to meet your two best friends, Semi and Heesoo. And while Semi had been excited to finally get a face-to-face with your boyfriend, Heesoo had expressed nothing but suspicion. After all, dating online for two years and only seeing each other in person for a few months? It was enough to make her raise an eyebrow—and ask questions. Lots of questions.
You sat in a cozy corner of a bustling café, the soft hum of conversations and clinking cups providing a calming background, though it didn’t do much to ease the nervous flutter in your stomach. You stole a glance at Heeseung, sitting beside you, his posture a little too stiff as he absentmindedly traced the rim of his cup with his finger. He was trying to act cool, but you could tell he was feeling the pressure.
On the other side of the table, Semi and Heesoo sat like the unofficial board of inquiry. Semi was leaning forward with a grin that made her look like she was ready to pounce on Heeseung with curiosity, while Heesoo leaned back, arms crossed, her sharp gaze already sizing him up. It was like a scene from a movie—only this time, it was your boyfriend in the hot seat.
Semi was the first to break the ice, her eyes twinkling with amusement as she propped her chin on her hand. “Soo… Heeseung,” she began, drawing out his name playfully, “we’ve heard a lot about you. But you know how it is—we’ve gotta see for ourselves. So, first things first—what’s your love language? Is it words of affirmation? Acts of service? And—be honest—have you ever written her a love letter?”
Heeseung blinked, clearly taken off guard by the unexpected question, but a smile soon crept onto his face as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Love language? Uh, I’d say physical touch… and maybe quality time. But, uh, no love letters yet. I’m more of a... text message kind of guy.”
Semi’s grin widened. “Text message? Oh, come on! What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever texted her, then? Like, we’re talking Shakespearean levels of swoon-worthy.”
You stifled a laugh, burying your face in your hands as Heeseung scratched his head, looking almost bashful. “Well, I don’t know about Shakespeare… but I did once write her this really cheesy line about how her smile makes my heart race.”
Semi let out a dramatic gasp, clutching her heart as if she were swooning. “Oh my god, Heeseung! How do you even deal with all that smoothness, huh?” she teased, turning to you with a wink.
You could feel your face heat up, and you nudged her playfully. “Stop, you’re making him blush!”
But Semi wasn’t done yet. “Alright, real talk now—what’s her weirdest habit that you’ve noticed since meeting in person? Spill it, we won’t tell.”
Heeseung chuckled, his body relaxing slightly as the conversation started to take a lighter turn. “Weirdest habit? Hm… she talks in her sleep. Like, full-on conversations. The first time I heard it, I thought she was awake, but nope. Just dreaming.”
You shot Heeseung a mock glare, covering your face in embarrassment. “Heeseung!”
Semi burst into laughter, clapping her hands. “That is so cute! What does she say? Is she giving TED talks in her sleep or something?”
Heeseung laughed along, shaking his head. “I wish. Usually, it’s just random stuff about food or… her phone charger. One time she asked me if I could ‘bring her the moon,’ and I had no idea if I should answer or not.”
You groaned, hiding behind your hands. “Why are you doing this to me?”
Heeseung grinned, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he leaned in close to you. “Because it’s adorable, that’s why.”
Before you could protest further, Heesoo, who had been quietly observing, finally cleared her throat, signaling it was her turn. She straightened in her seat, her expression more serious than Semi’s as she locked eyes with Heeseung. “Alright, enough of the cutesy stuff. Let’s get to the real questions.”
Semi rolled her eyes playfully, but Heeseung straightened up, clearly sensing that this was going to be more intense. You bit your lip, dreading whatever Heesoo was about to throw at him.
“So,” Heesoo began, her voice calm but firm, “two years of dating online. That’s a long time. How did you know she wasn’t, you know, catfishing you?”
The question hung in the air, and you shot Heesoo a look that screamed, Really? But Heeseung just laughed, easing the tension.
“Well, I mean, we sent pictures sometimes, so I was pretty sure she was real,” he said with a grin. “But, honestly, even if she was catfishing me, I’d probably still fall for her voice.”
Semi made a fake gagging sound. “Oh my god, this is too much. You guys are like a Hallmark movie come to life.”
Heesoo, however, wasn’t satisfied yet. “Okay, let’s say you two stay together and get serious. Like, really serious. How do you plan to handle long-distance, or are you gonna move closer to each other? What’s your five-year plan here?”
The intensity of the question made your heart race. You hadn’t even fully discussed long-term plans with Heeseung yet—at least not in any serious detail. But Heeseung didn’t miss a beat.
“I think long-distance isn’t something we can avoid entirely, but we’ve made it work for two years already. It’ll be challenging, but I’m willing to put in the effort. And as for moving… well, it’s something we’ll have to talk about, but I’m open to whatever’s best for both of us.”
Heesoo tilted her head, studying his answer. “So you’d move? Leave your life behind for her?”
Heeseung nodded, his gaze unwavering. “If it made sense for us and it was the best decision, yeah. I’d move. I want to make sure she’s happy, no matter where that takes us.”
You felt your heart flutter at his words, and Semi sighed dramatically. “Okay, okay, Heeseung, you’re setting the bar way too high for other guys.”
But Heesoo wasn’t done yet. “Alright, one last question.” She leaned forward, her eyes narrowing slightly. “What’s your biggest flaw? And I mean a real flaw—none of that ‘I’m too caring’ nonsense.”
Heeseung paused, clearly taken aback by the directness of the question, but he didn’t shy away from it. “My biggest flaw? Hm… I’d say I tend to overthink things. Sometimes, I worry too much about doing the right thing, and it makes me second-guess myself.”
Heesoo raised an eyebrow, clearly satisfied with his honesty, and finally leaned back in her chair, her lips curling into a small, approving smile. “Alright. You’ve passed—for now.”
You exhaled in relief, finally letting go of the tension in your shoulders as the interrogation seemed to be over. Semi clapped her hands together, grinning. “Well, Heeseung, you survived! Congratulations. We’ll go easy on you next time—maybe.”
Heeseung chuckled, turning to you with a playful smile. “That wasn’t so bad. I think I can handle them.”
You smiled back, feeling your heart swell with affection. “You did great. I was kind of worried they’d scare you off.”
Heeseung leaned in closer, his voice soft and teasing. “It’ll take more than that to scare me away.”
Your cheeks flushed at his words, and you nudged him playfully. “Stop being so smooth.”
Semi, clearly not done with teasing, leaned in with a mischievous grin. “Okay, but seriously, Heeseung. Do you think you could beat her in a game of Mario Kart? That’s the real test.”
Heeseung laughed, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “Oh, I’ve already tried. She destroyed me.”
You shrugged with a grin. “What can I say? I’m competitive.”
Heeseung chuckled, shaking his head. “And that’s why I love you.”
The words hung in the air for a moment, and you felt your heart skip a beat, your breath catching in your throat. It wasn’t the first time he’d said it, but in front of your friends, it felt different—more real, more special.
Semi let out a dramatic gasp, fanning herself. “Alright, that’s it. You two are officially too cute for me.”
Heesoo smirked, nodding in agreement. “Yeah, we’re done here. But, Heeseung, remember—if you ever hurt her, we’ll find you.”
Heeseung grinned, nodding. “I wouldn’t expect anything less.”
THE SOFT GLOW OF STREETLIGHTS REFLECTED OFF THE THIN LAYER OF SNOW THAT HAD BEGUN TO BLANKET THE SIDEWALKS, creating a quiet, almost magical atmosphere. It was one of those evenings where the world seemed to slow down, where time stretched out in front of you, and all that mattered was the warmth of Heeseung’s hand, firmly intertwined with yours, as the two of you walked side by side. You could feel the cold bite of the wind, but it hardly registered, not when you were this close to him, not when his presence radiated warmth.
His binnie was dusted with the tiniest specks of snowflakes, and every now and then, a flurry would land on his dark hair peeking out from underneath, adding to the charm of the moment. You stole a glance at him, your heart swelling at the sight—his cheeks flushed slightly from the cold, his breath coming out in soft puffs of condensation. He was fumbling with his keys, his brows furrowed in concentration, and the sight made you smile.
Heeseung noticed, catching you looking at him, and his lips quirked into a curious, soft grin. “What are you thinking about?” he asked, his voice gentle but carrying a hint of playfulness. He finally managed to unlock the door, but instead of stepping inside, he paused, letting the question hang in the air, waiting for your answer. His eyes were on you now, all of his attention focused, as if he could sense the weight behind your unspoken thoughts.
You hesitated for a moment, biting your lower lip, before speaking softly. “Just that… we probably wouldn't have such a lovely relationship if we didn’t agree to meet offline. I mean, we would have a relationship—but maybe not like this.”
Heeseung’s eyes widened slightly in surprise, his amusement clearly visible as his breath hitched from the cold, but before you could say anything more, he was pulling you inside, shutting the door behind you with a soft click. The warmth of his apartment enveloped you immediately, but the contrast between the chilly night and the sudden comfort inside felt almost surreal.
He let out a low chuckle, his voice filled with disbelief. “It’s literally freezing outside, and that’s what you’re thinking about?” Heeseung raised an eyebrow as he slipped off your jacket, his fingers brushing lightly against your arms in the process. You could feel the heat from his touch, even through the thick fabric, and it sent a shiver up your spine that had nothing to do with the cold. He looked down at you, his lips curving into that teasing smile you’d come to know so well.
Before you could respond, you reached up, your fingers gently brushing the snow off the tip of his nose. “You have snow here,” you muttered, your voice soft, almost breathy, as you leaned in slightly to brush away the last remnants of snow from his cheeks.
Heeseung’s smile widened, his eyes softening as he tilted his head closer, nuzzling your nose with his own in the most affectionate way, as if you were a couple of playful kittens. “This method is better,” he murmured, his breath mingling with yours as he spoke, his lips barely grazing your skin. The closeness was intoxicating, and you couldn’t help but laugh, the sound light and airy.
“You’re weird,” you teased, rolling your eyes as you attempted to step back, but Heeseung wasn’t having any of it. Before you could escape, his arms wrapped around you, lifting you off the ground in one swift motion.
Your giggles filled the room as you instinctively wrapped your arms around his neck, your heart skipping a beat at the suddenness of it all. Heeseung grinned up at you, his lips brushing against yours as he planted a few light kisses, each one sending a ripple of warmth through your chest.
“You’re so tiny,” he whispered, his voice barely more than a murmur as he carried you toward his bedroom. He nudged the door open with his foot, never breaking his gaze from yours, and the sheer confidence in the way he handled you made your pulse quicken.
He gently laid you down on the bed, his body hovering over yours as he climbed up, his knees pressing into the mattress on either side of you. You could feel the weight of his presence, the heat radiating off him as he pinned you beneath him.
For a moment, all you could do was stare at each other, the intimacy of the moment stretching out, thick and palpable. His eyes searched yours, and you could see the glint of mischief hiding behind the warmth in his gaze.
“Heesoo and Semi are going to kill you if you do something,” you teased, though the smile on your lips betrayed your words. You ran your fingers along the sharp line of his jaw, tracing the smooth skin, feeling the way his body tensed under your touch.
Heeseung leaned in, his lips brushing against the sensitive skin of your neck as he pressed soft, lingering kisses, each one sending shivers down your spine. “Like what?” he murmured against your skin, his voice low and teasing, the sound of it sending a wave of warmth flooding through you.
You bit your lip, trying to suppress the butterflies that swirled in your stomach. “You know what I mean,” you muttered, pouting slightly, but before you could say more, he captured your lips with his, his kiss silencing your protest. His lips were warm, soft, and insistent, and you found yourself melting into him, completely forgetting what you were even trying to argue about.
Then, in one quick movement, he shifted, flipping the two of you so that you were now on top, straddling him. You gasped, your hands instinctively gripping his shoulders for balance as you adjusted to the sudden change in position.
“Woah,” you breathed, your eyes wide in surprise as you looked down at him.
Heeseung just grinned up at you, his arms wrapping around your waist, pulling you close. “I’ll settle for cuddles,” he said, his voice softening as he leaned up to plant a gentle kiss on your forehead. His teasing tone had given way to something more tender, more intimate, and the affection in his voice made your heart flutter.
“You’re seriously such an overreactor,” he teased, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he held you against him, his chest rising and falling steadily beneath you.
You couldn’t help but laugh, your cheek pressing against his chest as you relaxed into his embrace, feeling the steady thrum of his heartbeat beneath your ear. The sound was soothing, grounding, and you couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of peace as you lay there, wrapped up in him.
“Am I heavy?” you asked playfully, lifting your head slightly to look down at him, your lips curving into a teasing smile.
Heeseung’s grin widened, his hands tightening around your waist as he pulled you even closer, his breath warm against your skin. “What? No,” he muttered, laughing softly. “If anything, you’re way too light.”
You rolled your eyes, but you couldn’t hide the smile that tugged at your lips. You leaned down, capturing his lips in a soft kiss, your fingers threading through his hair as you deepened it. He responded immediately, his arms wrapping around you tighter, as if he never wanted to let you go.
The snow continued to fall outside, but inside, wrapped in Heeseung’s arms, you felt nothing but warmth. And as the two of you lay there, tangled up in each other, you couldn’t help but think that even though the world outside was cold and quiet, in this moment, everything felt perfect.

❆ Ice Skating Love ❆
❆ pairing: non!idol sunghoon x fem!reader
❆ genre: fluff, strangers to lovers

“I don’t know why I accept to come here on first place” you said to your best friend Haerin.
“Come on, Y/N. It’s your birthday! You are supposed to celebrate it doing a new super fun activity with your incredible beautiful and funny best friend.” Replied Haerin.
“I don’t even know how to skate, help me.” “Don’t worry, I will.”
Today was your 19th birthday and your best friend Haerin decided that was a great idea to take you ice skating to celebrate it. Of curse you accept just because it was her, because if someone else asked you to go there, you will definitely deny it.
Haerin knew how to ice skate, it was her favorite sport since she was a little kid. You remember going to her competitions almost every weekend, of coursed she won most of the time. She was amazing when it comes of skating.
Luckily, they were just a very few people on the ice, one couple that was skating peacefully and a boy who was skating alone.
“Okay let’s go!” Exclaimed your best friend. “Rin, I beg you to please go slowly”
And with that you started skating with your best friend. At first it was very calm, Haerin was holding you hand, pushing herself slowly so both of you could move. You slipped a few times, almost crashing with the floor.
That was until Haerin started to move quickly, and quickly, and quickly.
“Haerin oh my god please go slowly!” You said to her. “Don’t worry Y/N, it’s going to be fun” she said laughing and pushing you from behind, leaving you skating alone.
“HAERIN, A BOY! A BOY HAERIN!” you screamed. “HOW DO I STOP!?”
“Y/N—!”
A loud crash was all what could be heard, your butt hurting because of the painful fall you just had. But apparently not only just you were in pain, the boy you bumped into was massaging his knee with a pain expression on his face.
“I’m so sorry” you apologized to the boy. “I’m learning how to skate so I didn’t know you to stop. Are you okay?”
“It’s okay, I didn’t see where I was going” replied the boy.
“Hahahaha, are you okay Y/N?” Asked Haerin laughing. “It’s not funny you dumb ass”.
“Of course it is, you just bumped into a random bo— Oh, hi Sunghoon.”
“Hello Haerin” replied the boy named Sunghoon. “What are you doing here today?”
“I’m celebrating my best friend’s birthday. Here, this is Y/N, Y/N this Sunghoon”
“Hi” you relied awkwardly. “We know each other because we are on the same skating team.” Explained Haerin.
“Nice to meet you, Y/N” said the boy. “Yeah, you too” you replied with a smile.
“I’ll help you to get up” Sunghoon said while getting up and offering you his hand. “Thank you.”
“Yeah I think we should go now Y/N” interrupted your best friend. “I don’t want you to get hurt again.”
“Fine”
“Well, I’ll see you on Saturday Haerin. I hope I can see you again Y/N” he said smiling.
“Yeah me too” you replied. “And sorry for the fall.”
And with that the boy continue skating by himself.
“Haerin, what do you have on Saturday?” You asked your best friend. “We have another competition” she replied.
“Can I come?”
“Why? To see me or to see Sunghoon, hm?” She asked with a mischief smile on her face. “What?”
“Come on Y/N, I have known you for YEARS. I know when you find a boy hot.”
“What? No like—I mean, yes but of course I want to see you too.”
Of course you find the boy attractive, he was really pretty. Besides, he said that he hopes to see you again, isn’t that a signal?
“So you do want to see him.”
“Maybe…”
“I knew it!” She said with the most happy smile on her face. “I’m going to put you guys together and you will finally have a boyfriend.”
“What are you saying?” You said laughing. “I just met him.”
“This is the beginning of the most beautiful love story you’ll have in your life. Imagine telling your kids that you met their father when you accidentally bumped into him. It’s going to be amazing.”
“Okay, okay, you’re going to far.” You laughed. “We should better go home, it’s getting late”
“Okay”
It was Saturday and the competition just ended, Haerin won the 1st place and Sunghoon got 2nd.
“Congratulations!” You said to Haerin that was talking to Sunghoon, hanging her a bouquet of flowers. “Aww thank you very much” she said giving you a hug.
“And congratulations for you too, Sunghoon” you said smiling. “Thank you, but I deserved the first place more than Haerin” he said joking. “In your dreams, you know I am better than you.”
“Both of you are, I saw you skating, you’re actually pretty good” you told the boy. “Thank you, I made some mistakes on the choreography but it turned out very well.”
“Oh, I almost forget to tell you. I was telling Sunghoon that we could stay a little longer to skate a bit more. Do you want to stay?” Asked your best friend.
Little do you know, that was Sunghoon the one who begged Haerin to convince you to stay a little longer just to spend more time with you.
“Haerin, you know I don’t know how to skate. Besides, the last time I felt and bumped really hard into someone” you answered looking at Sunghoon.
“Please stay a little longer” said the boy looking at you. “If you want I could teach you how to skate, I mean if you want…”
“Oh okay” you smiled to him. “Thank you for teaching me”.
“It’s not a problem” he said.
And with that, you went to Haerin’s backpack to borrow another extra pair of ice skates she had. You put them on and walked slowly to the ice rink, letting Sunghoon hold your hand and guiding you.
“Okay so, first, we are going to go slowly” he explained. “First one foot, then the other one and so on”
He was holding your hand tightly, guiding you slowly on how you had to “walk” to move on the ice. Holding hands with Sunghoon made you feel a strange feeling, like if you two knew each other from long time ago. Lucky you, you weren’t the only one that felt that connection.
“You’re doing grate Y/N” he said smiling. “Let’s fo faster”
“Wait, no! Sunghoon I’m going to—Auch!”
Both of you fall on the cold ice, what called your attention was that this time it didn’t hurt that much. Maybe because this time you fall on top of the handsome boy.
Now you were face to face, giving you the chance to analyze every small detail on his face. The moles he had near his eyes and nose made him look extremely pretty. His soft hair resting on his face due to the fall and his deep eyes looking directly into yours.
“Oh uhmm I—I’m sorry” he apologized.
“No it’s okay I mean, are you okay?”
“Yeah sure.”
God, you couldn’t stop looking at him.
“Can someone please explain to me why Y/N is on top of Sunghoon?” Interrupted Haerin, you were so into Sunghoon that you completely forget about her.
“We were—Uhmm we fell” you said moving away from Sunghoon. “But we are alright”
“Sure… Well, I’ll continue skating while you to do your things okay” she said winking and leaving.
“Sure you are okay?” Re asked Sunghoon.
“Yes, don’t worry. Let’s continue.
Two months passed and you and Sunghoon were seeing each other almost every day. Every weekend after their competitions you stayed a little longer to skate with him. At first Haerin stayed with you, but a few times later she told you that she didn’t want to bother you. Sometimes playing around telling you that she didn’t want to be “third wheeling” just because Sunghoon and you were together all the time.
Weeks ago you notice that Sunghoon was a very kind person. He was always trying to teach you how to skate, just an excuse to spend more time with you. But his favorite part of teaching you was holding your hand. Every time his hand touched yours his heart started beating like crazy, since the they he meet you he couldn’t keep you out of his mind. There was something about you; your personality, the way you talked and look at him. Everything about you made him feel butterflies on his stomach.
On your side, you had to admit it, you really liked Sunghoon. The way he treat you and smiled at you also drive you crazy. Of course you told Haerin the second you realized you truly liked him, the thing was that she wasn’t very surprised, like she said before, you were her best friend for year after all.
Your favorite part of the day was obviously going into the ice rink with him, sometimes you even fell on purpose just to feel his hands around your body trying to help you out. But you just kept that to yourself.
Sunghoon wanted to express his feelings for you, but he didn’t know how. And what a better way than asking your best friend, of course he would need Haerin’s help. She decided that he could do it in your special place, the ice rink. That day Haerin convince the owner of the place to close it just for you two to be in. Around 4 o’clock Haerin wrote a message to you, saying that she need your help with something on the skating rink and that it was urgent. Of course you told her that you would be there in less than 10 minutes.
When you arrived the first thing you notice was that the place was completely empty, not even a single soul was seen.
“Haerin?” You said loudly looking for your friend. “Haerin we’re are you? I’m here!” But no respond.
“Hello?” You asked one more time. “Y/N.” Finally a response, but not from Haerin. “Sunghoon, what are you doing here? I was going to meet with Rin but apparently she’s not here…” you said.
“Well yeah, she’s not here” he said. “Oh well, I should probably go another place and found her, she said she needed my self with something so I should probably—“
“No!” He interrupted. “Stay with me, I want to tell you something.”
“Oh, okay. I’ll just put my skates on really quickly and I’ll meet you on the ice” you said. “All right.”
Why was he acting so weird? So mysterious. And were was Haerin? You left all that question aside and put quickly your skates. Walking slowly to the ice to prevent yourself to fall and starting to skate toward Sunghoon. After all, his skating lessons really helped you out.
He took you by both hands and began to skate backwards, just looking and you like if he was admiring the most beautiful piece of art on the earth. He had a little smile on his face, a smile that was making you feel nervous.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” You asked with a little giggle. “Because you’re really, really pretty, you know that? You’re the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen.” he said.
“What are you saying?” At this point he stoped skating and you tried to hide your red face resting it on his chest near his neck.
“I’m just saying the truth Y/N, I have been wanting to tell you this since long time ago” this time he took your chin with one of his hands making you look at him on the eyes.
“I really like you” he said. “I have like you since the first day I saw you. Everything about you just makes me feel so special, so happy. I love everything about you, spending time time with you trying to teach you how to skate and holding your hand for hours made me realized how much I loved spending time with you. You don’t have to say something if you don’t want you, I’ll understand if you don’t feel the same way about me…”
“Sunghoon” you took his face between your hands. “I also like you too.” You smiled. “This passed months that I have been spend with you were simply amazing. I love everything about you, I love you Sunghoon.”
“Y/N please, can I kiss you?” He asked. “Of course.”
And with that, your lips finally connected. The kiss that you both have been waiting for months was finally happening. His soft lips around yours felt so magical, so good, so special. Everything was perfect. When you pulled apart, his forehead was resting on yours, your eyes making direct eye contact whit his.
“You didn’t know how long I’ve been waiting for that” he said with a little laugh. “Yeah, me too” you smiled.
“Y/N?”
“Hmm?”
“Would you like to be my girlfriend?” He asked, you heart was definitely going to explote any second.
“Aww, of course” you said giving him little kisses around his face.
“I love you so much, Y/N” he said. “Thank you for making me feel this way.”
“I love you too, Sunghoon.”
And with that, your lips connected once again.

It was late night and you were walking with your boyfriend Beomgyu down the beautiful and peacefully streets of Daegu. He had a day off and Beomgyu immediately decided to spend it with you.
Dating Beomgyu wasn’t easy sometimes, his busy schedule only allowed you to see him and lest two times per week. Even tho sometimes you visiting him on the HYBE building, he always preferred to spend timor alone with you.
You and Beomgyu met on a cafe that he liked to visit constantly. On the moment he saw you, he was convinced that by the time he leave the cafe he would definitely have your number. And of course that you gave it to him. After a long conversation with his boss, Bang PD, he finally agree with your relationship, and since then you couldn’t be more happy.
Beomgyu took you to your favorite restaurant, it was a little small place where they had the best tteokbokki, and you really liked tteokbokki. Spending time with Gyu was the best part of your week, even if you can only see he for a few minutes he never failed to make your day 10 times better. After both of you finished eating, you decided to walked down the streets and search for another thing to do.
It was a very beautiful night, the dark sky was illuminated by the stars and you and Beomgyu were together. What can be better than that?
After walking for a little more, you find a specie of photo station that was placed at the side of the street. It was decorated with red and pink hearts and of course that it was empty.
“Let’s go inside” you said smiling to Beomgyu.
“I had the same idea” he answered.
Both of you got inside and it was beautiful decorated with lights and some stars. In front was a machine that contained the camera and where the pictures were printed. You sat next to Beomgyu in the small bench that was on the back and turned on the machine.
“I’m going to take the pictures, okay?” Gyu said with his cute smile.
“Okay”
“Okay so, 1..2..3!” the flash sparkled quickly, the first photo was ready. “Now again. 1, 2, 3”
Both of you did that 2 more times with different poses. The first photo was Gyu and you smiling, on the second was you were giving him a kiss on the cheek, in the third one he was the one that was giving you the kiss, and on the last one you formed a heart with both of your arms.
“Awww they are so cute!” you said admirably the pictures.
“You look so cute” he said giving you a kiss on your head. “Now i want you to take yourself a solo photo, i want to have them on my wallet.”
“Deal but you have to do the same. In that way i can see you every day” you accepted.
“Yup”
Beomgyu got out and you started to take yourself the pictures. The first one was you blowing a kiss, the second one was smiling, the third one doing a heart near your cheek, and on the last one you did a peace sing.
“Ready” you told him. “Come in, here are the pictures”.
“My beautiful girlfriend” he said admiring the pictures. “You are so pretty, i can’t”
“Stop your making me blush” you said giggling.
“But is the truth!” he smiled. “Now it’s my turn”
“Okay, okay” you said going out.
You waited a couple or seconds when finally Beomgyu called you out.
“Look at them, i am so handsome” you laughed at his comment. “What?”
“Nothing” you smiled. “Actually, you really look handsome on this photos Gyu”
“I know, i know. Take care of them, not every one has the honor to have me as their boyfriend.” he joked.
“I’m going to put them on my phone case” your phone case was clear, in that way you could see Gyu every time you wanted.
“I’m going to put them on my wallet” he said searching for it. “Actually, can you take another picture? I also want to have one for my phone, and oh one for my dorm, and one for my ipad in case i lose the one on my phone. I almost forgot and one for the practice room.”
“You really want to see me everywhere, huh” you teased.
“Uhmm, duh” he said obviously. “Your the most gorgeous, beautiful girl i’ve seen in my life. Of course i want to see you everywhere at any time”
“Okay fine, i’ll do it just because it’s you and because i love you with all my heart” you said.
“I love you more, silly” he said smiling.
Oh how you love this boy.

"okey class..." miss kang, your music teacher, said. "i want you to work on a project that's due on friday, you will have this two days to make it and then show it to the class. ya'll have to make a song and, the work is in pairs, so c'mon"
what a great day for your bestfriend, haerin, not come to class. who will you work with now? ugh, how you hate to work with other people.
"hey, y/n?" a soft voice that you knew perfectly, said behind you.
never mind, you love to work with other people.
"oh, hi anton!" you replied with the biggest smile ever, turning around on your chair to face him.
anton was the cutest boy from your class, he had beautiful brown eyes and a smile that made worthy going to class everyday. you had a crush on him since the year started, his sweet and shy personality caught your heart immediately, he was kind to everyone and the best of the music class.
"uhm... i saw that haerin didn't come today and that you didn't have a pair to do the work, so i was wondering if maybe, you know, wanna work with me?" anton said passing his hand over his neck, looking down his feet. how could you deny this amazing proposal?
"of course!" you replied almost jumping from your chair. god y/n, don't make so obvious that you like him. "i mean, yes, i'll really like that anton." you smiled softly.
"great! so i'll send you a text with my address, is it okay if we go to my house? i think we can use my cello, so..."
"yeah yeah, sure. i'll be there"
haerin was going to die when you tell her.
after spending a really long time deciding what you were going to wear to go to anton's house, you decided that a long sleeve gray shirt and a pair of jeans would be completely fine.
when you arrived to his home, he greet you with a soft smile and comfy clothes. when you thought he couldn't look prettier, oh you were completely wrong. anton took you to his room, opening the door and letting you sit in the corner of his bed. the room was actually very comfortable, it had a very soft bed, and a desk that was full of music sheets, a computer and other type of stuff. his cello was on the corner of his room, you had never seen anton playing before, of course that you imagined that he was as good as he was on everything else.
"i was thinking that maybe we could make a short song, i could play the cello and my brother has a violin that maybe he can borrow you" he said sitting next to you.
"oh, i don't know how to play the violin, anton. i actually can't play any instruments" you confessed.
"don't worry, i'm going to teach you and you'll be ready by friday" anton replied to you with a smile.
"okay..."
"ll be right back"
anton left the room, probably to look after the violin of his brother, you thought. you got up from the bed, going to his desk and looking at the papers that were all spread around. some of them, calling your attention.
"Love 119" was the title, you took the paper in your hands, reading carefully at the beautiful lyrics that you supposed that he was composing.
"Stolen my heart, that girl's a killer
Love so good, feels like a thriller
It's begun
This is an emergency
One-one-nine, one-one-nine
Save my life, save my life
She sets me free
This is an emergency love
You turn on like a flashlight
On and on, grabbing my attention
In a crowd packed shoulder to shoulder
For a moment I saw only you, no other"
"y/n i got the— what are you doing?" anton said getting back into the room, his eyes wide open as he immediately recognized the paper that was on your hands.
"i was just reading this beautiful song, did you wrote th-"
"uhm we should probably focus on the violin" he said cutting you off, his hands grabbing quickly the paper from yours and hiding them under his pillows.
“i’m sorry anton, is actually very good by the way"
"i-it's just some stupid lyrics" he murmured nervously. "we should probably start"
"yeah sure"
the rest of the afternoon you spend it learning what anton was teaching you. his presence behind you, his hands on top of yours to teach you how to properly use the bow were actually making you fell very nervous. his breath touching your neck when he talked, and the way his soft voice was entering your ears, how could you not fall more in love?
you and him spend the rest of the afternoon like that, being so close to each other that you could feel like your heart was coming out from your chest. you were almost ready with the song, it wasn’t actually very hard to play the violin, but this wasn’t what you care the most about right now. could your heart resist this feeling of not telling anton that you liked him? could you really keep hiding your feelings for him?
you were scared to tell him, what if he doesn’t feel the same about you? what if he just sees you as a friend and just wanted to be nice with you? what if he thinks that you are ugly? what if…? what if…? what if…? what if…?
“y/n are you paying attention to what i’m sayin?” he asked behind you, you were so lost on your mind.
you turned to look at him, putting the violin down and looking at his beautiful, big brown eyes. he is even prettier this close, you thought. his face was so close to yours that if you move forwards a little bit, his lips would be all over yours. you saw his face, his eyes looking at you like if he was scanning you. his eyes going from yours, then your lips, and then your eyes again. you got a little closer, watching as anton’s cheeks were starting to become red. he didn’t even move a muscle, he was just taking a moment to look at your face.
“anton, i…” you hold your breath, are you going to confess right now? “i should probably go home, is getting late and my mom is waiting for me…” stupid y/n.
“ah y-yeah, yeah. you’re right, yeah” anton answered getting a step back, his eyes looking everywhere but you.
“thanks for teaching me how to play the violin, see you tomorrow at school”
“see you…”
the presentation went really good, anton and you performed the song and it was amazing. you even got the higher score of the class 10/10.
the past two days all you could think about was what happened at anton’s house. the last days that you had been even more closer to him due the proyect, made you realize that your feelings for the sweet boy were actually true. you and haerin already had a conversation about all this situation, she told you that it was better to express your feelings than to hide them. after all, you didn’t know what could happen.
you left the music classroom and went back to the normal, the door was closed and there was no one inside. your thoughts were eating you from the inside, all you can think about is anton, anton, anton…
anton and his sweet smile, anton and his beautiful black hair, anton and his gorgeous brown eyes, anton and how soft and kissable his lips looked back the other day.
you unzipped your backpack, taking out your water bottle thinking that could drown your thoughts alway. but instead of that, a small pieces of paper that were arranged like flash-cards and a yellow piece of paper fell to the floor. you took them in your hands, opening carefully the yellow paper first and reading what was in the inside.
“You turn on like a flashlight
On and on, grabbing my attention
In a crowd packed shoulder to shoulder
For a moment I saw only you, no other"
—Love 119
Love 119…? Love 119… oh god, this can’t be real.
you sweared to god you were going to die from a heart attack in that moment.
you took that other papers, the flash-cars, on your hands. once again, reading carefully what was in the first piece of paper.
“A satellite is an object in space that orbits around the earth until it stops working, they send signals to let the earth know how the sky feels.”
then the second.
“Even tho i can’t send you signals about my feelings for you because i’m too shy and scared of rejection…”
and finally the third one.
“…I want to be your own satellite, in that way, i could orbit around you for the rest of my life”
you felt like you were going to cry at any point, a smile appearing on your face from ear to ear. no one has never give this kind of sweet and beautiful thing before.
“so… what do you think?” a male figure that was standing next to the classroom door said. anton.
“was this you?” you asked, standing from the chair and walking to him.
“why it looks like you’re going to cry?” he laughed a little bit.
“because i am!” you said whipping your tears away. “no one has ever done this before to me”
“i’m actually very glad that i’m the first one” he smiled.
“why didn’t you tell me before?”
“because i’m too shy and i could barely talk to you before, also i was super scared that you didn’t like me back” he confessed.
“but of course i like you back, anton. do you now how hard was trying not to kiss you back when we were on your house?” you told him.
“tell that to me, i couldn’t sleep knowing i wasted such an opportunity” you giggled.
“and do you want to waste that opportunity again?”
“no” he quickly replied.
“then kiss me, kiss me anton”
his hands went to cup your cheeks, his lips coming closer to your until finally, it happened. anton’s lips were soft against yours, just as you imagine, his lips moving perfectly on yours, the kiss that you both have been waiting for so long was finally happening.
“was the lyrics of the song that i read on your house, were about me?” you asked, your forehead pressed against his.
“you weren’t supposed to see that” he said with and embarrass smile, hiding his face in your neck.
“awww, but it was so cute!” you laughed, your hands touching his hair. “are you going to let me read it now that you know i like you too?”
“maybe…” he thought for a second, looking back at your eyes. “just if you give me another kiss” he smiled.
“i’ll give you a million of kisses anton” you replied connecting your lips once again.

note first heeseung fic yay !! took a break from hurt fic and this is what i ended up doing 😚 this is for my amazing friend who suggested for me to write heeseung as your bsfs brother 🥹 i really hope you like reading this (´。• ᵕ •。`)
"I can't believe this – why can't I just use the front door?" you grumbled into your phone while adjusting the ladder against what you believed to be your best friend's bedroom window. After inserting your earbuds, you stashed your phone in your bag, ensuring it was secure on your shoulder.
Jieun's voice came through the earbuds, filled with exasperation. "I'm telling you, my brother is one nosy little fucker! He'd interrogate you like there's no tomorrow, especially about all those snacks you brought for me!" You winced at the sudden increase in volume. "I think you’d understand if you ever met him."
"How come I've never seen him?" you asked as you climbed the ladder, inching closer to the window.
Jieun's voice responded, growing fainter as she moved away from her phone. "He's usually not home whenever you decide to visit. But today, he's here because our parents are away, so this is the only option."
You paused your ascent. "What are you doing?"
"Just downstairs, cleaning out some stuff," she replied.
You sighed, realizing the dilemma. "Hey, how am I supposed to enter your room if you're not looking out your window?"
Jieun's reassurance came through, "My windows unlocked; you'll be fine."
Reaching the window, you attempted to lift it, and to your surprise, it swung open easily as Jieun had said. You climbed through and found yourself in her room, snacks in hand. Glancing around, you noticed some significant changes, the most noticeable being the rearranged furniture. Her drawers were now on the left side, not the right, and the bed was closer to the wall.
"Hey, you've really changed your room a lot!" You wandered around, taking in the alterations. Your eyes landed on a cologne bottle on one of the nightstands, and you examined it closely. "Jieun, have you had some mystery guy over in your room?"
Jieun's voice came through the earbuds, alarmed. "What the hell do you mean?"
"Then what's this cologne doing in your room?"
"What cologne? I don't have—oh my fucking god. YN, did you break into my brother's room?!" Your heart sank as you began to realize the truth: you hadn't entered Jieun's room, but her brother's, someone you had yet to meet.
"Oh my god."
"Quick, YN, get out of there! He's probably not there right now, so you might as well make a run for it!" Jieun urged, but she seemed to remain where she was. You hurried to the door, but just as you reached for the doorknob, it turned, freezing you in place.
There, at the entrance, stood a tall guy with a white towel loosely on top of his head. You were staring right at Jieun's older brother. He was undeniably handsome, and your feet felt like they were glued to the floor as he reacted to the unexpected sight of you. Questions raced through his mind: Why was there a girl in his room? Who were you?
"Before I freak out, what are you doing in my room?" he asked calmly, though clearly bewildered.
"I'm just here for Jieun—I'm Jieun's best friend, in case that wasn't clear. I know you must be wondering how I got here, but I thought it was her room. When I realized it wasn't, I was about to leave. So, this is, um, our first encounter," you stammered, your eyes darting from his gaze to the floor. You couldn't help but feel like you were making a complete fool of yourself.
"Nobody was at the front door, though—oh. Did you happen to break in?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
"What—no! What makes you think that—"
"My window is not closed all the way," you cursed under your breath, realizing your mistake. "Ah, my sister must not have wanted me to see you come over, is it?"
You stammered, caught off guard. "I—Um, well, yeah. Basically that." You couldn't help but wonder where Jieun was and why she hadn't appeared to rescue you from this increasingly tense and awkward situation.
"You must have left the ladder outside the house then," Jieun's brother sighed, glancing towards the window while continuing to rub the towel through his wet hair. You couldn't help but steal occasional glances at him, quickly averting your eyes whenever you caught his gaze.
He let out a small chuckle, and you couldn't help but think it was a charming laugh. But no, you scolded yourself, this was supposed to be an embarrassing first meeting.
Interrupting your thoughts, he said, "I'll go get the ladder outside. Just... just use the front door instead, yeah?" Your face flushed as you nodded, your grip on the plastic bag of snacks tightening. It seemed like he was noticing every little thing you did.
"Oh, that's my favorite snack," he pointed at a snack peeking out of the bag. Reaching for it, he took it out, locking eyes with you once more. "I'll take this as my reward, how about that?"
With a flustered demeanor, you simply nodded in agreement, unable to find your voice. His soft smile only intensified your embarrassment. Your cheeks were undoubtedly a deep shade of red.
As he prepared to leave the room to retrieve the ladder, he introduced himself, "Lee Heeseung."
Your eyebrow raised slightly at the unexpected introduction.
"My name is Lee Heeseung. How about yours, pretty?" Your heart did a little somersault at that moment. Heeseung, you made a mental note to remember that name.
"LN YN..."
"Pretty name. Well, I'll leave now. Hope to see you around soon, pretty," he said with a smirk before exiting the room, leaving you utterly flabbergasted by the sudden nickname. Did your best friend's brother just call you pretty?
"Did my brother just flirt with you?" Jieun asked, her voice tinged with curiosity. As you exited the room, you finally spotted her, rushing up the stairs. She had hung up the phone now that she was face to face with you. You realized that you had forgotten to end the call.
"No... you must have misheard," you tried to lie, attempting to brush off the encounter.
"Hmm, I'm not that dumb. Oh my God, did he really take my favorite snack?" Jieun frowned as she peered into your bag, searching for the missing treat. "Why didn't you stop him?"
You shrugged, still slightly dazed by the recent interaction. "He was kind of, um, charming. It just happened, I guess."
"You think my brother's fine?" she said, which you realize you blurted that out. You quickly cover your mouth, shaking your head to convey that you hadn't meant to say it. Jieun chuckled, linking her arm with yours as the two of you walked towards her room.
"Hey, I don't mind. You guys don't have a huge age gap anyway, just a year," Jieun pointed out. It seemed like she had another fact about Heeseung to share. "And plus, he seems to take an interest in you, so I won't stop him or you. Just know I'm your number one."
You smiled at her and nodded, saying, "Always."
With Jieun's approval, maybe there was a chance for something between you and Heeseung. However, you couldn't help but wonder if it was too early to get your hopes up. Still, you decided to believe in your best friend's words and, perhaps, in Heeseung's intentions too.

“It's painfully obvious that they're into each other!" Danielle whisper-shouts to Jungwon beside her, sneaking a glance in your direction. Jungwon nods in agreement, both of them observing as Niki playfully doodles on your cast while you giggle.
This was far from a usual scene for Danielle and Jungwon, and they couldn't have predicted such a turn of events.
Unbeknownst to both you and Niki, your conversations continued to flow as if you were the only two people in each other's world. "You know, Ki, I have to get this cast off next week," you sigh, observing him pause one of his doodles on your cast. A faint frown appeared on his face, his eyebrows slightly furrowed.
"I was kind of getting used to you being a one-armed wonder," he remarked, earning himself a playful smack on the shoulder that left him rubbing it. "Geez, did all your arm strength go into that smack?"
"Seems like it. But seriously, my doctor says it should be healed by next week."
"I'm going to miss using your cast as my personal canvas."
"You've practically turned my cast into your own art gallery – every doodle is from you, no one else."
"That's why I do it, kind of like practicing, you know? It's become part of my daily routine," he admitted, his words partially true. Yet, there was undoubtedly more to his attachment. It was almost as if these interactions were the only way for both of you to be close. Secretly, he cherished the sight of his drawings everywhere you went.
Sometimes, he couldn't help but wonder if you thought about him when you looked at your cast. But surely, he couldn't be developing feelings for you, right? It’s just a different feeling this time–a feeling he experienced when he was finally on good terms with someone who had once been his enemy.
"I'll miss it too," you respond, your gaze fixed on the cast, appreciating all the doodles adorning it. Your feelings for him have evidently grown deep, and there's no denying that fact anymore. "But, having both arms back will definitely be good. I still need to get back at you for that one time we coincidentally ended up in the nurse's office together."
"Hey!" His chuckle is contagious, causing you to laugh as well. Unbeknownst to both of you, Danielle and Jungwon are eavesdropping, recognizing that something is brewing between you two.
"Yep, they're definitely into each other," Jungwon declares, though he sighs afterward. "But they seem like the type to stubbornly deny it afterward."
“So, how do we make them realize their feelings?”
“We both need to individually talk to them about their feelings.”
“I like the way you think, Jungwon.”
The two had never stared at a clock so intently before. Lunchtime was drawing near, yet time seemed to be crawling by. "Just a little longer," both Danielle and Jungwon thought, their anticipation growing as the hour hand inched closer to 12. When the bell finally rang, they exchanged a quick smile before rejoining their respective friends.
"Now, if you don't mind, Niki, I'll be stealing my best friend away," Danielle announced to Niki, who looked a bit puzzled but eventually nodded. Equally bewildered, you allowed Danielle to take you away, offering a small wave to Niki as you went.
Seizing the moment, Jungwon remarked with a grin, "Looks like you and YN are getting pretty close!" Niki's nod was met with an unusually wide smile from his best friend, a grin that seemed just a tad wider than usual.
"What's with that grin on your face?"
"What do you mean, Niki?"
"Your smile looks a bit strange."
"Oh, it's nothing. I just find it cute how quickly you and YN are hitting it off. Maybe a bit quicker than expected."
"Is that a problem?"
"No, it wouldn't be a problem if you'd just admit your feelings," Jungwon states matter-of-factly.
Niki comes to an abrupt stop, staring at Jungwon as if trying to process whether he actually heard what was just said. "What?"
"Your feelings for YN," Jungwon repeats.
"Come on, Jungwon, this is ridiculous. I don't have any feelings."
"Are you really sure about that?"
"Yes, I'm absolutely sure. I don't understand why you're even suggesting it."
"Fine, fine. Let's just focus on getting some food. Man, I'm starving," Jungwon sighs, sensing that pressing further won't lead anywhere good. Niki nods, his emotions a jumble, but mainly feeling confused. Why was Jungwon bringing this up all of a sudden? But, he quickly shook off these thoughts, thinking it was just another one of those weird questions he’d ask.
Despite Niki's adamant denial, you found yourself quite honest when Danielle swiftly pulled you out of the classroom. Sensing that something was wrong, you confided in her – the one who had always stood by your side. I mean, what good would it do you if you were to hide it from her?
"Yeah, Dani, I think I might actually like him. And it's kind of freaking me out." You leaned your head on her shoulder once you found a table, seeking some comfort. Danielle offered a reassuring pat on your thigh.
"Why would it be freaking you out? There's nothing wrong with it. You're just feeling uneasy because you two used to hate each other," Danielle pointed out.
"True, but it's just... I don't know, it feels strange."
"Just take your time, okay? You can figure out your feelings for him at your own pace. And who knows, maybe he's feeling the same way."
"I doubt that."
"Hey, don't be so quick to dismiss the idea if you're not sure," Danielle reassured you, her words like a comforting embrace. You hummed in response, genuinely grateful for her unwavering support. Exhaustion seemed to be creeping in, and you found yourself drifting into a light doze, the weight of the situation taking its toll. She allowed you to rest your head on her shoulder, her gaze catching Jungwon and Niki entering the room in perfect timing.
Locking eyes with Jungwon, Danielle shared a smile, a silent acknowledgment that things seemed to be progressing positively between you and your feelings. However, her smile faded slightly as she observed Jungwon's expression, suspecting that Niki might have brushed off any discussions about his feelings. While it might take some time, both Danielle and Jungwon were determined to help bring you and Niki closer.
But five days had since passed, and in the classroom, Jungwon and Danielle were discreetly passing notes, sharing their frustrations and plans regarding your future connection with Niki.
"What should we do, Danielle? Our plans haven't been successful," Jungwon scribbles on a piece of paper, passing it to Danielle beside him. He observes her thoughtful expression as she contemplates a response, then watches as she swiftly writes something down and passes the note back to him. Unfolding the paper, he lets out a small sigh as he reads her words.
"I'm not sure..." Jungwon begins to write a reply, but the teacher's voice cuts through their note exchange, startling them slightly. Were they caught? Were they going to be asked to walk to the front? Anxious glances are exchanged, and the two of them look around, only to spot a new student entering the room.
"Everyone, I'd like you to meet our new student, Park Gunwook," the teacher announces. As the shy smile of the newcomer meets the class's greeting, a lightbulb seems to go off in both Danielle and Jungwon's minds. They exchange a knowing glance.
"Let's make Niki jealous."
The universe seemed to be on their side, as the teacher asked Danielle to remind you that you had to tour Gunwook around the school. Not surprised, Danielle sees you with Niki again, distracted in your own conversation with him.
“YN!” Her voice catches your attention, which makes you look her way. Giving her an eyebrow raise, you see her pointing at Gunwook, who had a shy smile on his face. You soon exclaimed, soon realizing what you had to do.
“Oh right! Sorry Niki–I have to help give a tour to the new student.”
“Who?” Niki looked at Danielle’s direction, seeing her and Gunwook together. “Gunwook?”
“Yeah–you weren’t paying attention to what the teacher said to me, did you?”
“Not really,” He pretended to shrug it off. “Why can’t Danielle do it?”
“Well, too late. I already took up the offer. So, see you later?”
“Yeah. See you,” He said as you walked off, watching Gunwook’s smile become wider when you walked by his side. Yeah, Niki did not like that new guy. Not even one bit. Scoffing, Niki reaches for his phone, hoping to distract himself.
“Someone looks mad,” Danielle soon took a seat by his side, soon realizing the change in his behavior.
“Mad about what?”
“Mad about YN leaving with this new guy.”
“It’s just a tour after all.”
“Just a tour,” Danielle couldn’t help but chuckle, but soon stopped by Niki’s sudden glare. “Could be a tour where they get to become friends.”
“What does that have to do with me?” Niki brushes it off, although he wasn’t quite pleased with what Danielle said. “She can do whatever she wants.”
“Sure, Niki. Whatever she wants.”
Walking back from the vending machine with his strawberry milk in hand, Niki's steps faltered as he caught sight of you engaged in a seemingly cheerful conversation with Gunwook. His gaze lingered on the scene for a moment, a mix of emotions swirling within him. A tinge of jealousy gnawed at his chest, but he quickly pushed it aside, reminding himself that he had no right to feel that way.
He took a deep breath and continued walking, forcing himself to focus on his drink and avoid any unnecessary overthinking. Who was he to overthink the situation anyways?
"What's the big deal about him?" Niki's gaze hardened as he observed the two of you, his grip on his strawberry milk tightening. “Surely he can’t be that fun to talk to.” Jungwon couldn't help but let out a chuckle, but his amusement quickly faded when Niki's glare landed on him.
"Feeling a bit jealous, are we?" Jungwon teased.
"Jealous? Don't be ridiculous."
"Then why does it bother you so much? Come on, don't tell me you're clueless about this," Jungwon shot back, taking a casual sip from his drink. "They do seem to have some chemistry, if you ask me."
Niki's frustration was evident as his jaw clenched. He was grappling with emotions he couldn't quite define. The idea of you being with someone else didn't sit well with him, but he wasn't about to admit that openly.
"Whose side are you on, anyway?"
Jungwon flashed a knowing smile. "I'm on the side of the truth. And it's pretty obvious you're feeling something for her."
“Feelings?”
Jungwon raised an eyebrow at Niki's sudden change in tone. “Yeah, yours, you idiot. Why did you become so attached to YN? Weren’t you two rivals before? What changed?” Jungwon asked, soon shushing Niki with his finger. “Don’t answer that—you have feelings for her. That’s why. Isn’t it obvious?”
Niki huffed, clearly uncomfortable with the direction the conversation was taking. He took a deep sip of his strawberry milk, as if trying to drown out his own thoughts. "You're reading too much into it.”
“That’s all you have to say?” Jungwon's fingers latched onto Niki's ear, causing him to wince in discomfort. Amid his struggle to free himself from Jungwon's grip, Niki abandoned the grip he had on his strawberry milk.
"Jungwon, cut it out! Seriously, I'm not sure if I even... ow! Ow! Fine, fine! I do... ow! Will you let go already?" Niki's voice swung between irritation and a hint of resignation as he massaged his ear once Jungwon finally released it, his scowl directed at his persistent friend.
Jungwon smirked, a triumphant glint in his eyes. "See? Admitting it isn't that bad, is it?"
Niki huffed, his cheeks slightly flushed from a mix of frustration and embarrassment. "Don't get too smug about it. And you better not tell anyone else, got it?"
"You have my word, my secretive friend." Jungwon's grin only grew wider, relishing in the small victory of nudging Niki to confront his feelings, even if it had involved a bit of ear-tugging persuasion.
Now, Jungwon just needed to find a way to convince him to confess his feelings. Texting Danielle immediately, it was time to put part two to the plan in action.
“Why is he here?” Niki whispered softly into Jungwon’s ear, raising his eyebrow at you and Gunwook sitting down together, laughing at each other.
“Cause he is our friend now!” Jungwon said with a big smile, pleased with the frown placed on Niki’s face. Danielle seemed to notice the two before you did, giving a way. Jungwon waved enthusiastically, while Niki gave a small one. Did you not notice him walking into the mall too?
“Hey!” Danielle called out, which finally drew your attention to Jungwon and Niki approaching. You acknowledged them, waving and giving Niki a smile, which brought a hint of color to his cheeks. He guessed that if you were here, then it was okay for Gunwook to join too.
Soon, you and the rest of the group decided to explore random stores in the mall, browsing through clothes, snacks, and everything in between. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, chatting and laughing as they moved from one store to another. At least, that’s what you thought, while Niki felt differently.
Niki could sense that you and Gunwook were growing closer, which bothered him more than he'd like to admit. He couldn't understand why Danielle seemed so unconcerned about the two of you spending more time together, and it baffled him even more that Jungwon wasn't worried. After all, Jungwon had been the one who forced Niki to confess his feelings for you to him, yet he wasn't doing anything or even encouraging him to take action.
However, Niki tried to ignore his thoughts, but he couldn’t shake the twinge of jealousy that tugged at him every time you and Gunwook shared a laugh or whispered to each other. He trailed slightly behind, trying to focus on Jungwon and Danielle's conversation, but his attention kept drifting back to you.
Eventually, you all found a table at the food court, settling down before deciding on what to eat. “Should we just get popcorn chicken? I’m not that hungry,” Danielle suggested, and everyone agreed.
“That sounds good. I can go buy them—just watch over my stuff,” you offered, standing up to make the purchase. Niki noticed Gunwook about to rise from his seat to join you, something he definitely didn't want to happen. Acting on impulse, Niki quickly stood up. “I’ll go with you, Y/N.”
“Huh? Oh—sure!” you replied, a bit surprised. Gunwook also seemed taken aback by Niki’s sudden eagerness, and he slowly sat back down.
As you and Niki walked together toward the food stall, he tried to relax and focus on enjoying your company. “You two seem to have gotten close, huh?” Niki ventured, hoping to find answers to his own thoughts.
“Oh, with Gunwook?” you replied thoughtfully. “He’s been texting me more lately, so I’m more comfortable with him now, even though I don’t hang out with him much during school hours and such.”
“So, you want to hang out with him more during school hours too?” Niki asked, sounding slightly defeated as he jumped to conclusions.
You looked at him, confused, which snapped him out of his thoughts. “I wouldn’t mind it, but I’d prefer spending time with you, Danielle, and Jungwon. After all, we are closer, don’t you think?”
Niki nodded in response, feeling both relieved and uneasy. He would have been more content if you hadn’t mentioned the first part, but he’d take what he could get for now.
It wasn’t long before the two of you returned to the rest of the group, finished up your food, and decided to head to the arcade. Even with your reassuring words, the comfort they gave Niki was fleeting. As soon as you arrived at the arcade, Gunwook seemed to cling to you more than ever, almost as if he was doing it on purpose.
Niki hated being apart from you and found it hard to shake the feeling of jealousy that gnawed at him. It had been a long time since Niki had disliked someone this much.
Much to his dislike, Danielle and Jungwon seemed to catch onto Niki and Gunwook’s behavior. They whispered among themselves and managed to distract Gunwook, leaving you and Niki alone for a moment.
You and Niki were at the claw machines, and you cheered him on as he focused on getting a duck plush. “Come on, Niki, I know you’re good at these!”
“Yeah, I should be better than Gunwook,” he blurted out before panicking internally and trying to concentrate on the prize in front of him.
If he didn’t say anything about it, you’d— “Huh? What about Gunwook?”
Niki laughed it off nervously, saying, “You seem to be having a great time with Gunwook today, so I figured he’d be trying his hand at the claw machines too and showing off his skills, you know.”
“Are you trying to say you’ll be better than Gunwook at this?”
“I am better at this than him—just watch, I’ll impress you,” Niki said, pressing his lips together in concentration. He let out a muffled sound of despair as the plush dropped again.
You watched Niki with growing amusement, starting to connect the pieces. His comments about Gunwook, his sudden eagerness to join you at the food stall, and the way he seemed on edge whenever Gunwook was around—everything pointed to one conclusion. Instead of feeling confused, you felt flustered, realizing that Niki might be jealous of Gunwook.
“Niki,” you said softly, trying to hide your smile, “you don’t have to impress me. I already think you’re amazing.”
Niki paused, glancing at you with a hint of surprise in his eyes. “Really?” he asked, his voice laced with uncertainty.
“Yeah,” you nodded, feeling your cheeks getting warm. “So instead of trying to impress me with a claw machine, why don’t you tell me how you really feel?”
Niki hesitated, looking down at his shoes for a moment before meeting your eyes again. There was a vulnerability in his expression that you hadn’t seen before, a mix of uncertainty and hope.
“I…” He took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. “I guess I’ve been a little jealous today. I didn’t like seeing Gunwook so close to you, and it made me realize how much I care about you.”
You smiled softly, appreciating his honesty. “I kind of thought so,” you admitted. “And for what it’s worth, I really like spending time with you, too.”
A small smile crept onto Niki’s face, relief washing over him. “I’m glad to hear that,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
You both stood there for a moment, the noise of the arcade fading into the background.
With the silence hanging between you, Niki cleared his throat, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. He turned his attention back to the claw machine, his determination renewed as he focused on winning the duck plush.
“I’m going to get this for you,” he declared, a hint of playful defiance in his voice. “Not because I’m trying to impress you, but because I want to.”
You chuckled softly, watching him maneuver the claw with renewed focus. “No pressure, but I have faith in you,” you teased, leaning closer to the machine.
He finally managed to win the duck plush, pulling it from the machine with a triumphant grin. “Well, then,” he said, offering it to you with a shy smile, “this is for you.”
"Thank you, Niki," you smiled, hugging the plush to your chest. Continuing to tease him, you added, "So, I'm taking this as your way of saying 'I like you' indirectly, hm?"
Niki's eyes widened slightly, and he rubbed the back of his neck, his cheeks turning an even deeper shade of red. “Don’t get ahead of yourself…”
“Oh? So, you’re fine with me going back to Gunwook?” you teased, raising an eyebrow playfully.
“Hey, don’t say that,” Niki glared. “Fine, I like you a lot. More than I could’ve imagined.” he admitted with a shy smile. “So, there’s no way I’m letting Gunwook win you over.”
You smiled, “I was just kidding, anyway. I only ever had eyes on you.”
“Really?” he said, sounding both confused and relieved that you felt the same way all along.
“Why do you think I asked you to get me that duck plush, huh?”
“Why?”
“Because it reminds me of you. That’s why I wanted you to get it, so it could mean even more.”
“Really? I look like that duck?” He pointed at the plush in your hand, showing a mock disgusted expression, which made you laugh.
“Of course!” you replied with a playful grin.
“I think we could’ve gotten a better…representation. Maybe something cooler?” Niki pestered.
“Whatever you say, you’ll still forever look like a duck to me,” you shrugged. “The duck is cute, and you’re cute too.
Niki chuckled, shaking his head. “You have a weird way of saying you like me too.”
“Well, if that didn’t come off too clear—I like you more, Niki.”
“Now, if you really liked me, you would totally associate me with a cooler animal, wouldn’t you?” Niki jokes.
“Hmm, I’ll keep that in mind for next time,” you chuckled. “But for now, you definitely suit this adorable duck. Now, come on, let’s go meet up with the rest.” With a playful grin, you grabbed his hand and tugged him along, holding onto the duck plush that now symbolized him in your eyes.
Niki playfully rolled his eyes, but soon a sheepish grin spread across his face. He was willing to go along with whatever you said or wanted; being with you felt perfect, and he hoped moments like these would last forever.

note: Welcome to my account! This is my first one-shot in this account! I hope you enjoy it, as I enjoy writing this one shot! I apologize if it's a bit rushed. I wrote this one-shot for a couple of hours a day. Feel free to listen to 20 by BOYNEXTDOOR, as that song fits with the one-shot a bit. I wrote this story while listening to it.
Being 20 years old has changed many lives. People go out partying, drinking all day, having a blast, and such. Soon, you will turn 21, then 22, and so on. People think it is a good thing. It means they are going to be adults and leaving their parents' house. Having their own responsibilities, a place to call home, and their own job.
But to a female who just turned 20 years old. It is overwhelming. She felt sick and tired just thinking about it. She hates how she has more responsibilities than she already has. It does feel good, but she was overwhelmed by it. She felt so empty and lonely. She couldn't relax. She already felt tired of being 20.
Her mind was over the place the last couple of days before her 20th birthday. She was moving out of her parent's house and moving to an apartment all by herself. She soon started her third year of university as a graphic design major. Her projects already overwhelmed her even though classes haven't started yet.
Her boyfriend was busy with his own job. His own career. A career he always dreamed of. He doesn't have a lot of time to visit her, but always makes time to video call her. She really wanted her boyfriend to be next to her. She needs him. But she knew it was selfish of her to want and need him. She knew he couldn't come even if he wished to.
It feels so lonely and empty in her own tiny world. A couple of days after her birthday, she thought about doing two things for the first time. She never thought about them. It wasn't like her at all. Usually, she would brush the thoughts aside, but for the first time during the night before her birthday. She took a pocket knife from her packed box and looked in the mirror. Her hands were slightly shaking while holding the knife. It was pretty close to her arm.
Before she could do it, she threw the knife into the shower and closed the shower door. She clasped onto the cold floor with tears in her eyes. Sobbing quietly before getting up and walking out of her bathroom. Shutting the door behind her and locking the door before she had second thoughts.
She thought it was best to take a walk to calm down and get out of the lonely apartment. She quickly grabbed her phone and a jacket before walking out. She put on her shoes and then walked out of the apartment complex. Walking along the streets, she took deep breaths. The breeze hit against her face. It wasn't too cold or too hot. It was just right, but more on the cold side. It was a nice summer night. Everyone was getting ready for bed since it was around 10 pm.
Walking down the streets, letting her legs take her to places. Letting her mind relax for once. She didn't realize she was at the Han River. She didn't realize she was at the bridge. Her heart skipped a beat just thinking about doing it. Her hands automatically reached for the railing. Tears falling down. All of her emotions got the best of her. The next minute, she was getting over the railing, but she stopped before she reached the other side.
Quickly backing away before running away. There wasn't anyone around her since they were down at Han River or somewhere. She quickly grabbed her phone and looked at the schedule of her boyfriend's career. He gave her the schedule for their weekly video calls.
She noticed he was in South Korea for a couple of days. Taking the chance, she took a taxi to her boyfriend's dorm since he would be there according to his schedule. The taxi pulled to the sidewalk not close to her boyfriend's apartment, but not too far. She quickly paid for the taxi before running to the dorm. Tears were falling as she reached the apartment. She looked up at the apartment building. Having second thoughts. It was selfish of her to come here when she shouldn't.
Without her knowing, her legs took her inside the building. She hesitantly put in the code to enter the building before walking inside. Walking to the elevator and to the apartment number where her boyfriend lived. She hesitantly rang the doorbell. “Myung? What are you doing here?” Jaeyun asked once he opened the door. She felt tears falling, but she held it in. “Er…sorry for coming without any notice,” she slightly stuttered.
Jaeyun shook his head. “It's not a problem. You are more than welcome to come here,” he reassured her. She smiled slightly. He noticed she was sweating a bit. He quickly stepped aside. “Come inside.” She nodded before entering the apartment. Looking around the apartment with her eyes as she stepped inside.
She remembered Jungwon told her in one of their weekly video calls about him moving to a new dorm. She remembered how excited he was and how he joked about not having to share rooms with Sunoo, Riki, and Sunghoon.
“Jungwon! Your girl is here!” Jaeyun announced. Within two seconds, her boyfriend came running from the living room. He saw his girlfriend. “Myung?” Myung looked at her boyfriend. Tears were slowly falling down as she stumbled to him. Giving him a hug and crying. Jungwon was shocked before quickly hugging her back.
“I'm going to leave both of you be. Do you want anything,” Jaeyun whispered to his ear. “Water would be nice.” His friend nodded before walking away. Myung was crying so hard. Jungwon gently patted her back. “Let's go to my room?” He asked gently to her ear. She could only nod before breaking the hug.
Jungwon gently took her hand. She looked down at the floor, letting him take the lead. Once they entered, he closed the door behind to give them some privacy and led her to the bed. Making her comfortable sitting on his bed before he turned on the lamp and sat down next to her. He gently pulled her closer to him and hugged her again. She cried again. He gently patted her back, not saying anything. “I feel overwhelmed,” She said.
“Do you want to talk about it?” He asked her as he gently smooths her back. “I—being 20 is overwhelming. Everything is just overwhelming. I have many projects to do before school. I moved into my apartment and had to unpack. I have to get a job to help pay my rent. I feel overwhelmed with everything, Jungwon.” Jungwon hummed in response as he listened to her. He felt his heartache.
“J—Jungwon, I—I almost committed suicide and almost cut myself for the first time,” she hesitantly told him. He slightly squeezed her. Feeling his heart ache even more. Hugging her even closer to him as he heard her crying in his arms. He wished he noticed sooner before any of this got worse. He wished he had enough time to spend time with her. Not by video call, but by going in person.
“Myung, I'm sorry you have to feel overwhelmed and alone. I'm sorry for not being there in person and helping you.” She shook her head on his chest. “It's okay, I understand. You are an idol and have the busiest schedule. Plus, the scandals, hate, discrimination, etc, you have to deal with on top of that. I understand.” Jungwon kissed the top of her head. “But I am here now and will never leave you.”
Her heart fluttered when he said those words. “I am sorry for being selfish to come here. You should be resting, not dealing with this, too.” Her voice cracked when she said the last sentence. Jungwon shook his head. “You aren't selfish or a burden. I would never think of you like that. Plus I am so happy you came here when you are feeling so vulnerable.”
Tears started to fall again. Jungwon hugged her tightly and kissed the top of her head. “I love you so much. I felt like the luckiest girlfriend.” He smiled. “You are the luckiest girlfriend and I am the luckiest boyfriend, too.” He thought for a second before asking, “Do you want to maybe live here with us? I am sure Sunoo-hyung and Jake-hyung wouldn't mind. I can talk to the managers and the company about it.”
Myung thought for a minute before shaking her head. “I don't think the company and your manager would mind. I don't want to be a burden.” Jungwon smiled. “My managers love you as a daughter and the company, it wouldn't be hard to convince them.” She took a breath. “Alright, if they said yes then I will think about it.” He nodded. Suddenly a knock on the door was heard. “Come in,” he said.
The door slowly opened. “Sorry to disturb both of you, but here is the water.” Myung slowly broke the hug and looked at Jaeyun. She wiped her tears before giving a smile. “Thank you, Jake.”
Jaeyun smiled, “It's something at least I could do.” Jungwon stood up before walking to his friend. He politely took the item from his friend. He gave the cup to Myung. “Drink some water so you don't get dehydrated.” She nodded before drinking water. “Also, the others seem to be worried about Myung.”
“The others?” Jungwon asked. Jaeyun nodded. “All of them.” He nodded to his friend. “Alright.” His friend then closed the door giving them privacy again. Her boyfriend turned back to her. “Do you want to stay here?” She shook her. “I don't want to ruin your time with the others.” He shook his head before taking her hand into his. “You aren't a burden at all… at least eat some strawberry ice cream. You don't have to talk to anyone.”
“But—” before she could finish her sentence, Jungwon kissed her lips. “No buts. Let's go, hm?” She slowly nodded, letting him take her hand and lead her out of the room. She looked down at the floor before looking up. Noticing the others was looking at her. She felt embarrassed that she hid behind her boyfriend's back.
He felt his girlfriend close to his back and smiled. “Cute,” he muttered as he walked towards the others. Then making her sit on the couch where he was sitting before she came. Jaeyun, who was close to her, moved to make room for Jungwon. Myung slowly looked up from looking at her hands. “Hi,” she quietly said.
“Myung, how are you feeling?” Sunoo asked first. “I'm alright now. Better than hours ago at least,” she smiled. “We were going to order some fried chicken, but we heard you love Vietnamese food, so we are going to order Vietnamese food,” Jongseong said.
“Oh, you guys don't have to, I don't want to be in the way,” Myung said. Jongseong shook his head. “It's okay, Myung.” She nodded before hesitantly asking, “How do you guys know I love Vietnamese food? We haven't talked that much.”
“Jungwon has talked about you every day since you two dated. We have to listen to him simping over you, and we got to know about you from him,” Heeseung told her. “He is pretty annoying about it sometimes,” Riki chimed in, earning a playful slap on the shoulders from Sunoo. “He really does love you,” Sunoo smiled.
Myung smiled as she looked at her boyfriend who was focusing on making the perfect scopes of ice cream. “He really does.” Sunghoon turned around looking at Jungwon before smirking. “Hey lover boy, stop making the scopes so perfectly. I am sure, Myung wouldn't mind the scopes not being perfect!”
Jungwon glared at him, “Shut up, and let me focus.” Laugher was heard in the apartment as they waited for the delivery to arrive. Myung smiled. She is the luckiest person alive to have people like them in her life.

When the Days Were Better \\ Lee Heeseung

genre: slight angst, a fluffy ending
warnings: none really, one curse, an argument
word count: 1,047
synopsis: You miss the way your relationship used to be, before Heeseung had to work so much ~ inspired loosely on the song 2011 by 5SOS
You tossed and turned before finally sitting up. It was nearly 4 am. Sighing, you flicked the light on, giving up on getting any sleep. Heeseung was supposed to come over hours ago and you hadn’t heard a single word from him, not even a text. You worriedly sent your tenth message in a row to him asking if he was okay and headed into the living room to find some late night tv to watch.
You jolted awake on the couch half an hour later to the sound of keys jiggling in the lock of your apartment door. Heeseung walked in, his eyes lighting up with a mixture of happiness and surprise upon seeing you awake and waiting for him at such a late hour. He approached you and swept you up into his arms, carrying you back to bed. You couldn’t help but smile being in your boyfriend’s arms. Almost four years later and he still makes you feel like the only girl in the world.
He told you he was going to take a quick shower and headed into the bathroom. Listening to the sound of the shower, you were suddenly more awake again and remembering your thoughts from before you had fallen asleep. Heeseung came out of the bathroom dressed for bed when he noticed the look on your face.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, kneeling down in front of you.
“Nothing, I’m just tired” you stated, not making eye contact with him.
“I know you better than that, babe, come on what is it?” He turned your face to look at his. “Is it because I’m so late again? I’m sorry you know how carried away I get trying to get everything to look and sound perfect. I know I should have texted so you wouldn’t worry but I was so focused and lost track of time and-“
He stopped short when he noticed the singular tear rolling down your cheek. He rushed to sit next to you on the bed and grabbed your face with both hands, rubbing away the growing stream of tears with his thumbs. “Baby, please tell me what’s going on” he begged. Staring into the eyes you loved the most, you took a shaky breath before trying to put how you felt into words.
“I… just feel like I miss the old me, the old us” you started. You watched as his brow furrowed at your statement and continued. “We used to talk about this incredible future where you achieved your dreams and debuted and I would be working towards my dreams and be happy and content because we were together and now that’s happening but…” you were just about sobbing now, trying your best to say what you wanted to say. “I just can’t stop wishing we were back there, back when the days were better. When I didn’t feel like everything was so complicated, like I’m standing in the way of your dreams.”
You noticed Heeseung was crying now too, which broke your heart even more. He suddenly stood up and started pacing the room, and you could see the thoughts running through his head. You tried to call out to him to get him to settle down. “Hee-”
“I’m sorry I’m not making enough time for you. I’ll stop practicing all night long and missing dates and not answering your messages. I’ll be better, you deserve me to be better”
You shook your head. “No, Hee, you’re missing my point. You shouldn’t have to do any of that for me. This is your life, this is your dream, you shouldn’t have to give any of that up for me and I could never ask you to. Maybe we were just meant to stay in 2018, when everything was easy and perfect and simple.”
He suddenly stopped walking and stared blankly at the wall.
“No”
“What?”
He finally turned to face you and the fiery look in his eyes caught you off guard. “No. This isn’t supposed to be easy. Relationships shouldn’t just end because things got difficult or some things changed. We’re not who we were 4 years ago, and that’s okay. You have to put in work to make it work, that’s what a real relationship is; you have to work for what you love. And I love you, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to not lose you. I guess the only question is, are you?”
The two of you existed in silence for a few minutes, eyes locked on one another, neither breaking the silence as you processed what he had just said and he waited for your response.
You took a deep breath and stood to walk over to him. “I just don’t want you to have to start giving things up for me, like practicing until 4 in the morning if that’s what your crazy ass wants to do. I’m worried I’m standing in your way and that’s the last thing I want to do. I just want you to be happy” you whispered as you took his hands in yours.
He dropped your hands and you gasped slightly, preparing for him to say the words you feared the most. He didn’t though, instead he pulled you into him and held you close. “I am happiest with you in my life” he whispered into your hair. You relaxed into him and wrapped your arms around his torso.
“I would rather come back at 4 am after a long day and see you, even fight with you, than not come back to you at all…. But I’ll start trying to be home by 2 am.” He laughed and pulled away, looking at you as if to say ‘okay? Are we done now?’
You sighed and ran your fingers through your hair, nodding. The two of you finally climbed into bed and cuddled close together; it was 5:15 now.
“Stop getting wrapped up in the past. All we need is each other and we’ll be alright.” Heeseung sleepily assured you. You giggled at your boyfriend and his eyes fluttered open in response. “What?” He asked. You just smiled before replying, “nothing. I just love you a lot.” “And I love you even more,” he kissed your lips gently, “Now can we please get some sleep”

{Y/N and Wonwoo move in together}
You grabbed the last box from the movers truck as Wonwoo paid the movers. You and Wonwoo had been dating 3 years and after a painstakingly long time, he finally agreed. He rejected your offer a year and a half ago to move into your apartment, one because he was gone all the time and there wouldn’t be much use in moving in if he wasn’t there, two because he had grown quite comfortable living with the boys and he thought it’d be a hassle to move his “perfect” gaming setup he had created with Seungcheol.
After his last promotion, he was the one to bring it up in conversation.
“Would you want to move in with me babe?” he said nonchalantly.
You nearly cursed him out for asking such a stupid question. Of freaking course, you wanted to move in with him! This resulted in him trying to cuddle and you playfully refusing but ultimately giving in to his oh so cringy aegyo.
Now here you two are in a forest of boxes, both utterly confused as to where to start. You both decided to get an apartment together instead of moving into your very small loft. Mainly due to the fact that Wonwoo’s PC system took up too much room and he couldn’t live without it although he was cutting down on gaming.
You guys unpacked a lot of the boxes that night after the movers left, pushing the rest into what was supposed to become your office space. You ordered some pizza and opted for sleeping on the new couch, not wanting to try and build a bed at 11pm.
The next morning you woke up to the sound of Wonwoo attempting to cook an omelette, you admit it didn’t seem bad but it looked like scrambled eggs as you looked over his shoulder. You snaked your arms lazily around his waist, he turned to try and kiss you but you quickly stopped that advance.
“I haven’t brushed my teeth baby”
“I don’t care your too cute to not kiss right now.”
“But you see my lil wonton I care..” you said as you removed yourself to brush your teeth.
After breakfast, you guys went back to unboxing your belongings. Wonwoo spending an alarming amount of time trying to assemble a comfortable gaming setup, even though you told him many times to do it later.
You guys had unpacked all the boxes and there was one very big thing missing from your bedroom. You went up to Wonwoo, who was now sitting in his gaming chair, with a very sarcastic smile.
“Baby where’s the bed?!” you said through your teeth.
“Oh that... Oh yeah, I umm sold it to get money for the new couch,” he said the last part in a fast whisper.
“JEON WONWOO YOU DID WHAT???!!! If you told me you couldn’t pay for it, I-”
“It’s not that I couldn’t pay for it, I just got my paycheck, of course, I could afford it. I just thought that because you always complained that your bed is too small and it always creaked, I could get you and me a comfortable king-sized bed...”
“What??”
“Yeah, y,know I’m pretty well off because of seventeen honey haha.”
*Ding Dong*
“Ahh see that must be the bed people.”
Wonwoo opened the door. Three people came in with a bed that could barely fit your doorway, they assembled everything and even put some free bedsheets on. You felt kind of terrible for freaking out a bit.
He paid them and came back to you face down on the bed like a starfish.
“Comfortable?”
“Yes” you said but it was a bit muffled through the pillows.
He pushed you to the side so he could slip under you and then laid you back on top of him so that you were now smooshed together. You quickly adjusted yourself so that you were laying side by side looking at each other. You looked up at him with puppy eyes and said,
“I’m sorry...”
“It’s ok baby, I should’ve told you, instead of making you freak out.”
“No, I should’ve listened to you before being dramatic”
He pulled you closer as you buried your face in his chest.
“You're cute when your mad y,know that?”
“Ugh so lame, I love you though Jeon Wonwoo.” you chuckled.’
He peppered your face with kisses and you guys relaxed into each other's arms. You wished you could stay like this forever but you were soon interrupted by the doorbell and banging.
“Yaa Wonwoo open up, you took my monitor you snake!! You guys better not be doing the frick frack!!” You guys laughed as Seungcheol yelled through the door.

Hi can I request a Seungcheol fluff where you guys go into a haunted house??
Type: fluff, drabble
{y/n and Seungcheol go through a haunted house}
a/n; I wrote this through my eyes, and I’m a very tough looking and acting person, I’m not scared of the dark or anything, but when things pop out and jump scare me I turn into a baby so yeah it’s through those eyes I hope that’s ok
I’m scared
It was your favorite time of the year…
HALLOWEEN!!
During this time, you and Seungcheol did all the normal October festivities. Pumpkin carving, decorating the apartment, and so on.
The one thing you guys never did was go into a haunted house. The both of you weren’t exactly scared of the costumes or the gore, more so the jumping out factor. Of course in previous years, you would both try and act tough and urge the other to go in and even make fun of each other for ”chickening out”, but deep down you both knew that you were too scared to even step a foot in.
This year was different though, both of you had made a promise last year that you would try to get through at least one haunted house this Halloween. You guys were not about to break that promise and take the punishment of eating a dried ghost pepper chip.
So here you guys stood hand in hand, Seungcheol in his spider-man costume and you in your witch ensemble, in front of the local high school haunted house.
”come on y/n, it can’t be that bad. See look 1st graders are coming out of that thing.” Seungcheol said forcing a brave chuckle.
”y-yeah, it can’t be that bad. B-but I’m scared..”
“I’ll be right here babe, it’s ok it’s just a child’s haunted house.”
The nerves had wrecked your brain so much that you hadn’t even noticed that you guys were next in the queue. Seungcheol gave your tickets to a girl dressed as Pikachu, how ironic seeing a cute character as soon as you were gonna walk into straight up nightmare fuel. Barely a minute later and you guys hear an oh so creepy but oh so funny voice of a student dressed as a grim reaper call ”follow me to a world of hellish nightmares…
You clung onto your boyfriend’s arm so tights you were sure there would be nail marks left behind.
” it’s just a hallway” you kept telling yourself.
The grim reaper led you guys a little further down the hall and you followed him past black party streamers hanging from the ceiling. As soon as the reaper had appeared, he vanished. Then you felt a pair of hands on your shoulder, you screamed so loud the people outside must’ve been sure the haunted house was terrifying.
You held onto Seungcheol even tighter if that was even possible. He took this as a sign to walk faster. As you guys basically speed walked through the hallway which seemed a lot longer than most, you shut your eyes so tight you began getting a headache. All you could do was listen and follow your boyfriend when he screamed you screamed and at some point, you guys just began hugging.
He soon stopped walking, “baby open your eyes, it’s over”
You hesitantly opened your eyes. You sighed deeply and hugged Seungcheol so tight once again.
“Baby, can we go home now? I know we haven’t gotten candy or anything but I’m mentally checked out, I just wanna cuddle and watch non-scary movies” you said as you guys walked to the car.
“Of course baby, honestly I would’ve said it if you didn’t” he pecked your lips before speeding off.

I Like You
Type: fluff, couple au
{” I love you”’s with Hansol were few and far between}
You and Hansol had just celebrated your one-year dating anniversary a few weeks ago. It wasn’t anything big, he made you dinner, bought you a necklace, and you guys spent the night in bed rewatching episodes of Adventure Time.
You were happy and content with your anniversary surprise. Hansol wasn’t one for big romantic gestures, even “I love you”’s were few and far between. But you didn’t mind, you much preferred the little ways he would say “I love you”. Like kissing you before work even if you were still asleep, purposefully buying hoodies for you to steal and wear, and putting on his very upbeat music in the kitchen and snaking his arm around your waist, back hugging you, and swaying you gently as if it were a slow song.
Right now, you guys were cuddled up on the couch. You were between Hansol’s legs your head resting in his chest and a big blanket covering you both as you silently scrolled through your phones. Occasionally saying “look” too stupid memes and chuckling. This was comfortable for you, although it was silent, it was comfortable you didn’t feel awkward. Being in the presence of each other was enough for you guys.
You came across a text post of guys sending there s/o’s “I love you” messages. You looked up at your handsome boyfriend and told him to look. “Cute!” you said as you continued scrolling
He chuckled and put down his phone, replacing it with your free hand. He began kissing the back of your hand with little pecks. You thought nothing of it as you pulled your intertwined hands to your lips to give a quick peck just as he did.
“You know I do love you, right y/n? I know I don’t say it much, I just think those words should be reserved for special days. I don’t want to say it constantly and then those words become empty-”
“I know baby, I understand,” you said as you put your phone down and looked up at him.
“Hansol what if instead of “I love you”, every time you feel like you should say something sweet but don’t want to use those strong words you can just say “I like you” hmm? You know “I like you”’s although lesser than “I love you” still makes my heart flutter like a teenager honey.”
“I think I'd like that... and in that case y/n y/l/n I like you very very much.”
“I like you very much to Hansol Vernon Chwe,” you said as you kissed your darling boyfriend, and placed a hand on his cheek deepening the kiss. Chuckling and intertwining your hands and again continuing to silently scroll.

{newly publicized relationship and a bakery trip}
Hold My Hand Tightly
You and Minghao had been dating for nearing 2 years and last night you guys made a big decision. You guys went public!
He uploaded a 2 photos of you guys holding hands and a video of him giving you a peck on the nose with the caption “I like boys. I mean, I like one boy and this is that boy”.
He was very excited and happy, you on the other hand were quite nervous waiting for the response. You hadn’t dared to look at social media since he uploaded. All day your mind was plagued with the thought of fans hating you. Hao told you not to worry and joked that carats had stuff to do in their own lives to worry about.
You picked up your phone and checked for the first time in nearly 24 hours how the post was doing. There was an overwhelming amount of likes. You scrolled through the comments your stomach churning at the ones that said “oh your gay?” but your stomach fluttered at the all the comments that drowned out the negativity, such as “aww so cute” and the occasional “My fanfic is canon!!” Or “I knew it... I just thought would be my ship, love you though!”
As you set your phone down, feeling better after checking, Hao grabbed his coat to go out.
“Where are you going?”
“You mean “where are WE going?. C’mon I just announced that we’re in a relationship, we should celebrate a bit!”
You groaned, not yet sure if you wanted to go out today. But before you could argue Hao had pulled you up and pushed you towards the front door. Hesitantly you put your jacket and shoes on. As you stepped outside you felt the wind chill you through your coat. You heard Hao lock the door and his hands intertwine with yours.
“Ugh I can’t believe I can finally, confidently hold hands with my love.” He said as you guys walked out the building.
You guys got to a near by bakery, known for there chocolate “love” cakes. Hao told you to go find a seat while he ordered, you chose one in the very back of the cafe in the most hidden corner. He came back with a number and two vanilla milkshakes.
“One for you and one for me” he said as he placed a shake in front of you and a number at the edge of the table. He held your hand as he sat across from you. Not a few seconds later and a waiter came with your cake. Without realizing you quickly let go of Hao’s hand. He looked at you with a confused face, which for a second turned into a smile as he thanked the waiter.
“Why did you do that?”
“What do you mean?”
“You let go of my hand honey”
“Oh I guess I got used to trying to cover up “us” haha sorry” you said as you once again held his hand.
“We don’t have to hide “us” anymore babe, if you ever feel like your uncomfortable just hold my hand tightly... and I’ll know ok?”
“Ok.. thank you for that little thing baby”
“Of course my love. Now before we dig in, let me take a picture of you holding it for the gram”
“Ugh” you groaned giving in and holding the cake up to your face giving a half annoyed smile.
“Say “I love Hao and carats””
“I love only carats!” You said.
“Ya!” He groaned.

{The last day of vacation was supposed to be the best! If only you hadn’t clicked your brothers' stupid text}
pt 1~pt 2~ Epilogue
At the moment nothing could ruin this, nothing seems to fade quickly.
You had saved 50% of your paycheck and lived frugally for this moment. You dreamed about this the day it was announced at the end of your 1st year. The English Departments annual trip to Hawaii!
Most of the people that usually went were either rich kids with money to spare, actual Engish Majors, or people like you. You minored in English and in all honesty you spoke almost fluently probably due to you being a foreigner. You are now a senior who unfortunately isn’t rich so for the past 4 years you had dreamed of this trip. Even more, so that your crush Mingyu was going on the trip.
He also minored in English and you two were paired for a few projects over the years. He majored in music and was part of the arts and photography club, the only reason you knew what you knew about him was because of those “few projects”, he often invited you over to his flat to study and research. If you were being honest you didn’t really like him at first, but damn that puppy smile and the way his eyes looked while he studied won you over.
This brings us back to now, it is the last day of the 2-week trip and a luau performance had just finished. Everyone had been finished eating for a while and now people were just casually talking and sharing the best parts of the trip. You were dressed in a flower printed dress your mom had given you and Mingyu was wearing a Hawaiian print shirt your pretty sure you saw him buy at the airport. You sat a few chairs away from him.
You laughed along at the thought of the memories of your teacher wearing a slightly inappropriate speedo when your phone pinged. Your brother texted you, you honestly should’ve known better than to open it, but the thought it could be a prank couldn’ thave crossed you mind in that joyous moment. You clicked and within a milisecond, your phone was brightly flashing a rough sex scene and letting out lewd moans and screams.
You clenched the phone into your stomach trying to muffle the moans and quickly ran off to the nearest bathroom. Luckily no one was there and you did everything to stop the video, lowering the volume, deleting the video, and turning your phone off completely. You had run off so fast you failed to notice the footsteps running after you and the click of the women's bathroom door.
You let out sobs of embarrassment in the stall as you sat on an admittedly very nice toilet. Just as you were about to just go into full breakdown mode you heard a faint knock over your cries. You looked down and noticed the flip-flops Mingyu had bought at the flea market.
You quickly put your hand over your mouth and tried to muffle your choking tears.
“Hey, are you okay? Is your stomach hurting?”
That’s when you came to the realization that to everyone else it probably looked like you made some muffled sounds before clenching your stomach and running to the bathroom.
“N-no I-it-s stu-p-hid...” you said while post crying hiccups interrupted.
“It’s obviously not stupid...just tell me”

pt 1~pt 2~Epilogue
“It’s obviously not stupid…just tell me”
“No Mingyu, i-it’s r-reall-y stu-pid...” your voice still hiccuping.
“Can you open the door? You don’t have to tell me right now. But can you please just open the door?”
Coyly you unlocked the stall. There he stood, offering the shyest puppy dog smile yet and his arms. You stood up and let him envelop you in a bear hug. You let out the last you had into his chest. He just patted your head and shushed you softly. You stood there for a while just like that.
You're not exactly sure how much time had passed but quite a bit later you heard the door unlock and you pushed Mingyu away just a bit. One of the employees came in holding a key ring.
“I’m sorry to interrupt you folks but this is a professional establishment.”
“We’re sorry...” Mingyu replied grabbing your hand and dragging you out of the bathroom not forgetting to grab your phone.
The elevator ride to the where everyone stayed on the 3rd floor was silent but his hand never left yours.
You guys got off the elevator and he turned you to face him, he saw where your tears had left stains on your cheeks.
“Wanna spend the last night in my room? N-Not in that way, I’d never! Y’know-”
“I’d like that Mingyu...”
One of the perks of this trip was that everyone had their own room, most of the younger ones used this to their advantage and got it on, while the Major’s studied, and those like you just got some relaxation.
He led you to his room, fumbled around with his keycard, and let you sit down on the bed.
“I should’ve told you to get clothes and come back but... I didn’t think that far ahead.”
“Mingyu shut up and give me one of your hoodies...”
“Okay okay right.”
He got himself pajamas and got you a very big hoodie that was already oversized for him, which meant you were practically swimming in it. He gave you the room and changed in the bathroom. He came back with a damp towel and gave it to you to wipe your face. He turned the TV on to Cartoon Network and you felt him crawl around the bed as you lightly swiped the towel over your face.
You felt the bed sink behind you and you no longer heard rustling. You felt arms wrap around you from behind and a head rest on your shoulders.
“So can you tell me what happened?”
“It’s really really stupid Mingyu...”
“Okay and??”
“Fine... My brother sent me porn and it played loudly and I got so embarrassed I cried and you're my cru-” You spit out.
“Wow, that is stupid...” He said as he left your back and sat beside you, you hit him lightly. He faced you.
He leaned in and puckered his lips out a bit, you knew exactly what was happening and you didn’t want it happening like this. You quickly put your wrist over your mouth as Mingyu gently pressed his lips against it.
“Y/N you were about to tell me you had a crush on me and I thought... nevermind I shouldn’t have assumed.”
“Mingyu I don’t want my first kiss to be with someone who isn’t my boyfriend, and plus I’ve already had one heart attack today.”
“Then Miss Y/N would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?”
“Yes, but no kissing today my heart has suffered enough”
“Ok...” He smiled yet again the puppy dog smile and his lights shined so bright you could see the light reflecting off the building through the window.
He grabbed your wrist and placed small butterfly kisses over and over again.
“What are you doing?”
“I’ve already kissed you here, and since I can’t properly kiss you yet this is the best I can get.”
“Idiot...” you chuckled as he sucked on the skin of your wrist leaving a small bruise.
“Kim Mingyu! I didn't bring makeup to cover this up!” You half-yelled and hit him repeatedly.
He gave you a hug to suppress your beating and flopped you two backward onto the bed. You let him cuddle you to sleep as you buried yourself into his chest.
Would anyone like an epilogue?

{The last day of vacation was supposed to be the best! If only you hadn’t clicked your brothers’ stupid text}
pt 1~pt 2~Epilogue
The next day you snuck out of Mingyu’s arms and went to our own. You packed up and got on the first van to the airport. You stole glances at Mingyu through security and you sat next to each other while waiting for the flight.
His seat was 3 rows behind you. He whined that you guys wouldn’t be able to cuddle on the plane like you did last night. You made fun of him for already being so clingy.
You guys boarded, you had a window seat which you liked, an hour into the flight back and you were out like a light. About 2 hours into your nap you felt something on your wrist. You woke up sleepily to Mingyu yet again pecking away at your wrist.
“What the hell are you doing here?”
“I promised Minhyun I’d give him $20 to let me sit here.”
“That’s stupid Kim Mingyu”
“Here”
He gave you his hoodie and said some stupidly romantic thing about you smelling like him. He made you put it on immediately.
You guys watched a few movies together with the middle armrest put back, cuddling.
As the flight rounded its last 3 hours you turned to Mingyu halfway through Paddington.
“Kiss me”
“What?”
“I want a kiss on the lips”
“Like now”
“Yes...”
“Are you sure? Because last nig-”
“Jeez Mingyu.” You cupped his face and gave him a quick peck. He stared in confusion and amazement. He smirked before giving you a softer gentler kiss.
You guys continued watching Paddington with the stupidest smiles plastered across your faces. You intertwined your hand with his and slept. You don’t really remember much but you do know that by the time the plane landed you were still holding hands.
