Can someone please tell me why seung-jae (the ob-gyn dude) started doing law AFTER med school????? Especially when he is a licensed digital forensic person too????
Because of the recent episodes, I'm starting to be suspicious of Prof. Kim. I feel like there's something about her during the first few episodes but I can't pin point it yet. Now, I'm really wary of her character. When Prof. Yang said someone's toying with him, Prof. Kim is the first person I thought. Prof. Yang blindly trusts her so she's the only one (I think) capable of playing with him. Besides, her involvement to Ko and LMH's son is also suspicious. The fact that she might possibly know Kang Dan but doesn't know her relationship with Sol is so fishy. In short, everything about her is SUSPICIOUS.
you know, it's funny. because i was able to keep track of people's reactions and theories since ep 1, i'll be able to tell you with full confidence that people have been suspicious of kim eunsuk from the very beginning. at first, they thought she could've had motive to kill seo byungju since their final conversation in the mock trial monitoring room was suspicious (since it was established that she hated lee manho and seo byungju was one of the people who let a criminal like him go), or that her desire to protect yang jonghoon must not have been out of genuine concern but out of a more sinister plot.
those theories sort of died down when other people became more suspicious, but now she's resurfacing as a possible 'big bad' because of three things: (1) how the hell does she know james, lee manho's son? how are they so close enough that he often calls her on the phone? (2) why does she keep giving legislations to assemblyman ko? what is her true goal? is she lying about not knowing kang dan? and (3) what is the extent of her involvement with seungjae? at this point, i'm still quite suspicious of seungjae myself, and the fact that professor kim is entangled in his plotline doesn't help her case either.
as it is now, there's plenty of suspicion that has built up for us to safely assume that she's involved in this conflict more than we know. i just hope it gets resolved in three episodes.
Watching Law School AFTER Vincenzo is such a trip cuz vincenzo taught me that any case no matter how big can be effectively buried with money, murder and influence but big powerful men are losing their minds over a 'small' hit and run case in Law School
Law School is how you do women empowerment.
K-drama writers take notes.
(Spoilers Below)
First of all, we have women in all the important posts. Whether it’s the position of a Dean, Professor, Judge or Prosecutor, we always saw women not just working, but kicking ass.
All the women were allowed to be emotional and rational at the same time. In fact, being driven emotionally was encouraged, because you can truly establish justice only when you empathize with and understand the victims.
Women supporting women. They could’ve easily shown Sol A and B having a cold war over Han Joon-Hwi for some extra ‘spice’ (like most show writers always do), instead we got both girlies protecting each other when the situation called for it. Also let’s never forget Sol A and Yeseul’s relationship, it was super wholesome and iconic.
Men understanding the concept of boundaries. Joon Hwi never once pushed his feelings on Sol A, he was just there supporting her while she did her own thing. Similarly, Min Bok-gi kept a respectable distance from Yeseul, regardless of whether she had a boyfriend or not, despite liking her so much. Even when Yebum teases him and says that he should have ‘snatched’ her away, he shuts him up, visibly offended. (This might make it seem like the bar is super low, but its nice to see stuff like this on screen)
Yeseul’s character was one of the best writings on the show. Beautiful and smart, always took care of others, she was kind and understanding to everyone and remained to be so after her “incident”, in fact, she made her kindness and warmth a weapon to help other women who had undergone the same thing as her.
YESEUL’S TRIAL!!!! I have so many feels about this I am going to try to be as concise as possible.
Yeseul was not even once shown or even implied to be the one who was at fault for whatever happened to her. EVERYONE understood, supported and fought for her. Professor Yang, instead of playing the saviour, let Yeseul talk for herself and speak her truth. He stood by her throughout, like it was the most natural thing to do. They had the chance to make him look like a hero, Saviour of the Women™, but they didn’t and I’m so thankful for that.
Law School was absolutely successful in portraying the trauma of victims of sexual assault. It perfectly showed the immense dehumanisation and humiliation women face in the court. The process was heart wrenching to watch, but the happiness I felt from the final verdict was nothing I have ever experienced from a k-drama before.
Last but not the least, Professor Kim being the mastermind behind Assemblyman Ko’s defeat. She was manipulative and scheming towards him, making him act in ways she wanted him to act, all the while being a passionate professor and a loving mother figure to the students.
In Conclusion, Kudos to Law School makers for making dynamic and beautiful women characters without undermining the struggles they face. I’m grateful for this representation, and I hope more and more people watch this drama because it is amazing and a very well made show 😊

Why Joon Hwi hates his uncle?
I’ve been thinking about it lately. And here is my analysis of the matter.
Han Joon Hwi has the kind of character who empathizes with almost everyone. He tries to understand everyone’s point of view before judging them. This is proved throughout the series in different occasions. For instance, when he didn’t, at once, complain about Kang Sol B’s plagiarism and tried to find out the reason as to what lead her to do such a crime. He also didn’t mind when Seo Ji ho suspected him to be his uncle’s murderer.
If he possesses such a way of thinking, why was he so hard on his uncle about the bribe case before his death?
I think the real reason is that we tend to have a feeling that our parents are technically flawless entities. We don’t expect them to be wrong. Once we start seeing the flaws in them, it’s only natural that we cannot accept that. That’s why the teenagers are usually always in a bad term with their parents. Because that’s the first time a child starts to see their parents as a real human being.
To Joon Hwi, his uncle was like a father. He idolized him his whole life as a symbol of justice. But once that image was removed it was hard for even a sympathetic person like Joon Hwi to accept that. That’s why, he showed such strong hatred towards his uncle. But after his death, Joon Hwi actually came to question it himself that he should have rather asked his uncle as to why he did such things.
How each quote represents the characters
Jo Ye Beom is a modern and a free thinker. Despite making sexist jokes, he easily accepts his friends’ criticism. We also see that he is inconsistent to his own opinion. That’s why, he easily ratted their plans out to the prosecutor. But when his friends find it out, he changes his loyalty towards them. His quote directs that with time the laws are also modified, just like his character.
Isn’t it obvious! Kang Sol B will talk about it since plagiarism is a matter of ethics. When she has to confront about it, her ethics are being shaken. She has learned that not only did she break the law but also did something unethical.
Jeon Ye Seul’s abusive boyfriend is a son of someone who has a lot of followers in law. That gave him the advantage of doing unlawful acts such as violence and rape. He does them because he doesn’t fear the law, which he thinks will be easily taken care of by his father. So we see Ye Seul quoting about those fearless people being punished by law. Notice how she is pointing at the sky? That’s to refer to her asshole boyfriend, to whom she finally stood up to.
Min Bok Gi is just us. We get to see his character as a typical student. And let’s be honest, we’ve all said something like “we’re not machines” when we were being crushed by the amount of homework and assignments on us at some point. Bok Gi literally said that on behalf of all the students out there.
Seo Ji ho has a revengeful mentality. He has given up his whole life to study law just because he wants to avenge his father’s murderer. His quote suggests that treat people the way they have treated you.
Han Joon Hwi has a strong moral when it comes to justice. His uncle is his role model. That’s why he quoted something from his uncle instead of any other famous person, which again talks about judging fairly.
And finally the most chaotic character of the whole series, Kang Sol A. Who else will be able to break the chain but her? This indicates how she is not our regular legal minded person. She goes along with what she feels is right. And most importantly she doesn’t need to quote anything to prove how smart she is.
How can these all characters be played by the same person? Speaking of range...
Law School ep.15 (PS. SPOILER ALERT, don’t read if you haven’t seen it yet and don’t want to know lol) ‼️‼️
HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL!!! I got a thousands things running through my mind, but omg that was my fave episode thus far; and LET ME TELL YOU WHY:
1. All the miniature plot twists happening left, right, and center had me reeling! (First with Yangcrates “backstabbing” jiho, then Prof Kim “helping” Congressman Ko, and even our resident lollipop loving-word vomit-study group rat switching sides through the whole episode with his video uploads LOL)
2. KANG DAN!!!! Or should I say KANG SOL A!!! Need I say more???!!?! OMG she literally stole the episode. Our queen sol a’s duality! (Tbh I knew kinda what was gonna happen before cause I saw a spoiler on IG lol but it still was just as satisfying to see Ko’s shock when she pulled her wig off)! ALSO - I frickin love the “dark” concept sol a was hot and that’s a fact
3. Seeing Kang Sol B’s “soft”/human side throughout the episode was high key satisfying and don’t pretend like you don’t agree with me
4. When joon hwi and attorney park geun tae were being so stealthy and found the hideout = very satisfying hahaha (also attorney park is such a little shit/scaredy-cat BUT I love him for that haha this show is so intense and he provides a good amount of comedy relief that isn’t too over the top)
5. Also, YANGCRATES + PROSECUTOR JIN =???!!! Idk if I’m misunderstanding what’s happening but like are they forming an alliance or something?? Cause I can get behind that haha. I kinda like the whole arc that’s developing here - “my enemy’s enemy is my friend” (like sorta not really what’s happening but you get it lol)
And last but definitely not least...
6. SOLHWI 😱😱🥺😍
*** The solhwi content over the past few episodes have just been too much for my little heart to handle***
a) the fact that joon hwi automatically, no questions asked, silently agreed to sol a’s proposition of doing the mock trial competition made me melt inside A LOT
b) the “I’m grateful for her”... BITCH WE KNOW YOU’RE WHIPPED (I get it though, they got bigger fish to fry at the moment so romance is obviously gon be on the back burner for all them) (SIDENOTE: I think sol b kinda get that there may be something deeper going on between joon hwi and sol a, OBVIOUSLY because she’s curious why he cares for her so much)
c) the little high five (which is so subtle compared to other romantic grand gestures we see in most kdramas) was just so solhwi you know what I mean? Affection has SO MANY different manifestations, but like we do not see a lot of affectionate skinship in this show (like at all lol, except between sol a and ye-Seul and byeol), so even though it’s subtle, it’s still displaying a glimpse of light and love for these characters. (I may reading to much into it but idc lol)
OVERALL, the episode was just *chef’s kisses*💋🤌
I can’t believe there’s only 1 episode left omg but honestly such a great drama!! I highly recommend this to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet! 10/10
The SUBTLETY of SolHwi’s ending just shows how POWERFUL this couple is!
The writers didn’t need to confirm anything about their relationship.Personally, I never felt that there was any room for doubt or speculation about the strength and sincerity of their relationship (literally only about their “official” status maybe). But their relationship was always one of unconditional support, unwavering confidence and mutually-assured peace + HEART EYES & SMILES. I don’t think there was doubt in anyone’s mind - even for those who shipped joon hwi and sol b - that,
SOLWHI IS (MY) END GAME
If you say you don’t like JTBC’s Law School...
You’re probably someone who’d help assemblyman Ko...

I laughed WAAAYY to hard at this lololol

I feel like 99.9% of us Law School watchers cannot- I REPEAT - CANNOT, move on from SolHwi haha.
And you know what I ain’t against it one bit.
Also, I have a special place in my heart for all you SolHwi fic writers out there who are keeping us fed with all this content that JTBC did not give us. You is KIND, you is SMART, you is IMPORTANT!
