As much as I would love for narumitsu to be Canon, I just don't feel like it's ace attorney style to heavily explore cutesy romance stuff. It would feel a bit odd I think to have a game where they have a romance arc as aa is not a dating sim 😭
However I think it's absolutely hilarious if they come out with a new game where they just sorta don't ever substantially say it but it's obvious what's going on.
Ways they could make Narumitsu Canon that I think are funny:
-One of the locations is called "My Apartment" whilst you're playing as Phoenix, and when you go there sometimes Edgeworth is just like... sat on the sofa drinking tea and you're just meant to accept it. (alternatively. You are able to play as both Phoenix and Edgeworth at some point and both of them go to the same "my apartment")
- They put wedding rings on their sprites and never ever elaborate on it.
-There's an almost hidden piece of dialogue that you only get when you fail spectacularly where Edgeworth gets smug and Phoenix thinks "That's it. I am so going to divorce him when we get home" or something sarcastic along those lines. That's the only time it's mentioned.
-There's a case where there are two people in love and Maya is like "Nick you must be so lonely you haven't dated anyone in years. All you do is hang out with Mr Edgeworth all the time >:( " and Phoenix just thinks "Yeah. There's a reason for that" and that's it. You're meant to infer wtf that means.
-Larry complains about being a third wheel once when with Phoenix and Edgeworth.
-Edgeworth's office has a tiny nearly illegible photo that is clearly just a wedding picture of the two of them. You click on it and Phoenix is like "As nice as this day was, did he really have to use the photo where I'm blinking??"
-You present a ring as evidence to Edgeworth and he says something along the lines of "Interesting. It almost reminds me of the one you gave me, Wright"
dan's birthday charity stream was legit amazing in terms of the cause/funds raised and the content, but I can't help but laugh at how it sounds like a conservative's nightmare come true... "gay catboys are committing sacrilege by crossdressing as nuns and priests for their sick sexual fantasies to raise money for palestine!!!"
the best thing about Wrightworth is that you see all this gorgeous art of them in waistcoats and ties/cravats looking incredibly dapper and like they could have stepped out of a period drama. and then you find out they’re millennials
hi! ever since the tour got announced, I've been seeing a lot of posts floating around about the possible reasons why dnp may not be going to other countries and frankly, a lot of them are very ignorant. "oh dnp won't feel safe" "oh maybe they don't speak english" "oh maybe they won't sell"....it's just heartbreaking to see that when all we are doing is showing dnp that they have demand in these countries as well so they potentially come here!
so me and some fellow international phannies have contributed to debunking misconceptions people might have about a region, specifically latam, asia and africa
i will put it under the cut:
1. south africa
2. brazil
3. argentina
4. mexico
5. india

fun fact (not fun at all fact actually) :
aromanticism and asexuality are still treated as issues to be fixed in most therapy settings, at least in the western psychiatric institution. i cannot fucking mention my aromanticism or asexuality to a therapist or it’ll immediately become their primary concern and goal to fix. whether or not i have a partner/am trying to have a partner is actively being used as an indicator of my wellness, regardless of if i WANT one. i cannot have access to needed mental health ressources because of fear of conversion therapy. aro and/or ace conversion therapy is the norm in most psychiatric institutions and we are getting told by the rest of the queer community that our oppression isnt real and that there is no link between our struggles and theirs.
So you might be saying: Lion why a guide on drawing black people? Well young blood it’s because a lot of people cant…seem…to draw…black people..Amazing I know.
Racist (caricatures) portrayals of black people have been around forever, and to this day people can’t seem to draw black people like they are human. If your artwork resembles any of the above even remotely your artwork is racist and offensive. If you try to excuse that as a stylistic choice you’re not only a terrible artist, but racist too!!! Congrats.
Whitewashing is also a problem. A lot of people refuse to draw black features on canonly black characters. While this example isn’t colored, lightening the skin-tone of a character is also considered whitewashing. So lets start with features!
Now all black people have different noses thats a no-brainer, but black noses tend to have flatter bridges, and wider nostrils. Please stay from triangular anime noses and small button noses. Your drawings should not depict black people with abnormally large noses. (Especially if you do not draw other characters this way)
If you feel like the way you draw lips on black characters is offensive or resembles a caricature,it probably does and you should change it. ABSOLUTELY AVOID PLACING LIPS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FACE.
Hair is so diverse! Please get used to drawing braids, locs, kinks and coils! If you can learn to draw ringlets and long waves you can learn how to draw black hairstyles.
Add clips! Learn how to draw baby-hairs and never be afraid to add color Pinterest and Google are free my dudes! Also try using square brushes for blocking in coils.
OK THAT’S ALL YOU GUYS

I got an ask from someone who felt timid about drawing curlier hair and wanted some advice! This is by NO means exhaustive and is mostly just my thought process for my own stylization. There are tons of resources for drawing more textured hair, so for this I just wanted to focus on curls. hope it helps!
I really wanna bring attention to another fundraiser I trust.
This fundraiser belongs to a man named Hossam Bardawil who has lost so much due to this war. Not only has he lost his material belongings, his job, his home, but more importantly, he's lost his family. His parents and siblings tragically lost their lives, and now Hossam is trying to survive, living out of a tent in horrific conditions.
Now, Hossam is tasked with looking after the remaining family, including his nieces and nephews, as well as their mothers, as they navigate this terrifying world they are in. He's raising funds now to evacuate to safety.
They need $20,000 to evacuate the remaining members of their family, and currently have received less than $100 in donations.
They urgently need your help. Please share and please donate. Even a small amount brings them closer to safety and a life away from the constant fear of death.
oh fuck you. don’t talk to me or my girlfriend or my girlfriends boyfriend or our puppy play coordinator or her husband or her husbands boytoy or my wife or my other wife or my other wife’s dominatrix EVER the fuck again
The thing with the "why are you making them look bad" "why are you finding reasons to hate" kinda responses when someone brings up racist remarks and microagressions both from back in the "fetus" era and all the way till WAD etc, it reveals the way too many people view bigotry as something that happens Elsewhere. Something that is done by Other People and not us you me the people around us the people we love the people we idolise. But everyone is capable of harm, and it's quite revealing with defensive attitudes like that that people assume we're calling to boycott or asking you to stop feeling anything positive towards them or whatever else it's built up to me.
Guys. Even we haven't stopped feeling positively about them (at least for the most part, and those who have, fair play to them we all have our own personal threshold for how much we tolerate). Like that's the whole reason we're around, you kidding? Nothing I watch is free from the problematic stuff. I watch comedians who make off-colour jokes but I still feel fondly towards those comedians without feeling the need to erase the fact that they make problematic jokes and need to do better. I watch shows with bigoted themes without feeling the need to scrap them completely but I also don't hold back on my criticisms just because I like the show. And if anyone else who enjoys these things mocks those criticisms or expects me to shut up about them I see it rightfully as the insult that it is.
These social issues are bigger than us, and the thing is they really do change at a snail's pace. But putting another hurdle in front of the snail by saying "this is just spreading hate, you just hate them, go watch something else then" isn't really helping that pace. It's just showing that because an issue isn't personally affecting you, you're seeing it as not worthy of receiving criticism.
I watch youtubers far more "problematic" than DnP actually. And I love them! And I see them grow over time, I see it reflected in how they talk in videos from years ago vs now and it gives me a lot of hope. But people change because they are given a reason to change. And trying to get those affected and hurt to not even express disappointment is not gonna get you anywhere except making it clear to us who is a safe person looking to make the space welcoming in a material sense and who is just keeping up appearances and waiting for us to tire ourselves out and leave.
I’m just going to post this since there’s been a lot of racist remarks out here. This is written by @archdatbac on twitter after an incident of racism happened in the twt Phannies community.
This is so random but I’ve had beef with Dan forever ever since his now deleted ‘I am Mexican’ video where he claimed that he just gets really really tan. That was spray tan, it was streaky and the white lines in his fingers while his palms had ‘color’ made it really obvious. Idc if anyone agrees with me but that was brown face, and he’s never looked like that since and never addressed it either. That’s the thing with everyone saying ‘it’s so long ago’ - It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter how long ago it was because he didn’t address it then, didn’t address it five years after, didn’t address it ten years after - and he KEEPS making racist remarks. I’m tired of white phannies defending this behavior and I am tired of Dan Howell
Also lol throwback to YFIP with this old ass post - https://www.tumblr.com/phan-in-the-dark/127989942710/your-fave-is-problematic-dan-howell
It is of course the issue of them not addressing it and keep repeating their old mistakes. If they were to apologize for any of their remarks before, no one would have taken the issue of them slipping up and apologizing from time to time. But because they’ve never acknowledge it ever, we now assume that they’ve never been on our side and they’ll keep silencing us forever. Which from the perspective of the people who experience this, it doesn’t feel particularly nice.
I don’t want to bring the old stuff up, but sadly, their mistakes need to be acknowledged, and this person’s voice deserves to be heard after all these years of ignoring it
since we’re now talking about the racism in the phandom, i’m very glad it’s being brought to light so thank you to @dapg-otmebytheballs @demonqueenart and everyone else talking about this, i want to talk about cancel culture.
now i’m as white as they come, so before reading any of this i need you all to read the posts made by some of the people starting this conversation. here’s some links. xx xx xx xx xx
the reason i want to bring this up is because it’s something i noticed in a lot of the posts bringing up the behavior that dnp have/have had. its bizarre to me that we as a society, but especially we as a fandom, feel the need to disclose that bringing up problematic behavior isn’t an attack or call to ‘cancel’ someone!
to be able to have an open discussion where people CAN evolve and learn, bad behaviors need to be brought up without the immediate assumption that the person talking about it wants to bring harm to the other.
i am not here to defend dan and phil, they are well old enough to have these realizations on their own and stand for their actions, but, without the space to point out these behaviors, there will be no change. if these questions are being brought up within fandom spaces, why assume that the person means harm? excuse my metaphor but why would they set fire to their own house? i can understand wanting to take something with a grain of salt if it was coming from someone not in the fandom spaces at all, or someone not familiar with dan and phil whatsoever, but since it is the fans bringing this up, the absolute least you can do is believe them and listen.
wanting to see change is far from the same as wanting to see someone ‘canceled’ or lose their platform. these discussions are good and important to have, and i want to again thank everyone who has taken time of their days to speak up about this. it’s labor you shouldn’t have to do, and i really hope that we as a fandom learn from this. i know i will.
